Thearticle is aimed to find the correlation between bioactive components of XYE-E and the antidepressant efficacy, by analyzing the immovability time in tail suspension test (TST) and forced swimming test (FST). Using the method of gray relational analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis, relating the peak area of each common peak of1H-NMR spectra with the immovability time in TST or FST, we found that there were total 14 chemical components identified in the1H-NMR spectrum of XYE-E. Among them, 8 compounds, including saikosaponin a, saikosaponin c, saikosaponin E, saikosaponin F, saikosaponin G, saikosaponin b2, atractylenolide I and atractylenolide II, had significant correlation with antidepressant efficacy.

Purpose To investigate the significance of arterial phase display of right ovarian vein (ROV) for patients with pelvic congestion syndrome (PCS) through multi-slice CT angiography (MSCTA) Materials and Methods Forty-three patients with PCS confirmed clinically who underwent MSCTA were involved in the study. Revascularization was realized via add vessel volume rendering technique and maximum intensity projection (MIP) and the relationships among ROV early development, location of converging vascular, development of LOV and pelvic draining veins were analyzed. Results Out of 43 cases of ROV early development during arterial phase, 21 cases (48.8%) took ROV as draining vein of PCS, among which 17 cases (81.0%) converged into the inferior cava vena. In 19 cases (44.2%), ROV took part in the formation of PCS, all originating from the main right renal vein. Three cases (7.0%) were renal vein-derived PCS, among which two ROV originated from the main right renal vein and one from the branch of the right renal vein. Conclusion According to the imaging features of bilateral ovarian veins and pelvic veins, ROV, as draining veins, is associated with the formation of PCS.

Objective To study the diagnostic value of endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) combined with intraductal ultrasonography (IDUS) for bile duct stricture diseases.Methods The results of endoscopic ultrasonography and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography,intraductal uhrasonography,bile duct brushing cytology,the liquid-based cytology and the histopathological examination were analyzed retrospectively.The final diagnosis was made based on clinical data,histopathology and follow-up results(≥4 months).Results Twenty-one patients were diagnosed as having malignant biliary diseases,including 9 biliary tract carcinoma,4 duodenal papilla carcinoma,4 pancreatic cancer infiltrated common bile duct,4 cancer of the liver infiltrated common bile duct ; 15 were diagnosed as having benign biliary diseases,including 9 bile duct stones,4 liver fluke disease,lbile duct inflammatory stenosis,1 bile duct stricture caused by external compression.The accuracy rate of the EUS,ERCP,IDUS and ERCP + IDUS in the differential diagnosis of the bile duct stricture disease were 77.8％,88.9％,91.7％ and 94.4％,respectively.The accuracy rates of IDUS,ERCP,ERCP combined with IDUS were significantly higher than that of EUS (P ＜ 0.05).The sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value and negative predictive value of ERCP combined with IDUS were 95.2％,93.3％,95.2％ and 93.3％ respectively which were higher than those of EUS,ERCP and IDUS.After the bile duct brushing cytology and the liquid-based cytology or histopathological examination,19 patients were diagnosed as having malignant biliary diseases,17 were benign biliary diseases.The sensitivity,specificity and accuracy of the procedures for malignant bile duct stricture disease were 90.5％,100.0％,94.4％ respectively.Conclusion ERCP combined with IDUS can improve the diagnostic accuracy.The diagnostic positive rate will be higher with the help of ERCP,IDUS and targeted brush.

Objective:To investigate effects of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) on inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) in kidneys of Type 1 diabetic rats.Methods:Thirty-two male SD rats were randomly divided into four groups:A normal control (NC) group,a diabetes mellitus (DM) group,a NaHS (NaHS+DM) group,and a NaHS control (NaHS) group (n=8 per group).Type 1 diabetes was induced by a single intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin (55 mg/kg).After successful establishment of models,the rats in NaHS+DM and NaHS groups were injected with NaHS solution (56 μmol/kg) intraperitoneally.Eight weeks later,the activities of total nitric oxide synthase (T-NOS) and iNOS,as well as the level of nitric oxide (NO) were detected in serum and renal tissues,respectively,The activity of glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) was determined in renal tissues,The ultrastructures of renal tissues were observed by transmission electron microscope,The protein expression ofiNOS in renal tissues was detected by Western blot.Results:Compared with the NC group,there was no significant difference in the various indexes in the NaHS group (P＞0.05).However,in the DM group,the activities of T-NOS and iNOS,and the level of NO were all increased significantly in serum and renal tissues,while the activity of GSH-Px was decreased in renal tissues.Under the electronic microscope,the thickening of the glomerular capillary basement membrane,the proliferation of mesangial matrix,and the foot fusion were observed.The protein expression ofiNOS was increased obviously in renal tissues in the DM group (P＜0.01).Compared with the DM group,the activities of T-NOS and iNOS and the level of NO were all decreased in serum and renal tissues,while the activity of GSH-Px was increased in renal tissues in the NaHS+DM group (P＜0.01).The renal ultrastructural damages were ameliorated obviously.The protein expression ofiNOS was decreased significantly (P＜0.01).Conclusion:H2S exerts a protective effect on kidney injury in type 1 diabetic rats.The mechanism might be related to inhibition of iNOS activity and protein expression,in turn leading to reduction of NO content in renal tissues.

Objective To investigate several related problems possibly affecting the measurement results in the experiment of 125I-FSH in vitro cells uptake by domestic GC-1200 gamma RIA counter.Methods Before entering the measuring room,the sample was performed the background measurement.CPM measured in the different locations of same measurement frame and the different locations in unmeasured area were performed the statistical comparison.Results In high count,the influence of single sample reaching 1.9 ×106CPM on the adjacent low counting tube count was 7%;its influence on low counting tube count in adjacent detector was 7.33%;all samples were arranged from high to low order and the high count sample holder was placed on the measured location close to the detector,its influence on low counting tube count was 5.33%.Conclusion The domestic GC-1200 γ RIA counter is suitable for the measurement of the in vitro cell uptake experiment of 125I nuclear labeling.

Objective To study the early protective effect of NADPH on human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) and the expression of occludin and MMP9 induced by oxygen glucose deprivation and reoxygenation (OGD/R). Methods HUVECs were cultured and divided into blank control group, OGD/R group and OGD/R+NADPH 20 μmol/L group. The proliferation of HUVECs after treatment was detected by CCK-8 assay. The cytotoxicity was detected by LDH release assay. The morphological changes of HUVECs were observed by inverted microscope. Superoxide dismutase (SOD MDA) activity and malondialdehyde (MDA) were detected by commercially available kit. The expressions of occludin and MMP9 were detected by Western blot assay. Results Compared with the OGD/R, NADPH enhanced the cell viability significantly (P<0.05), reduced the release of LDH (P<0.05), promoted the maintance of HUVECs morphology, reduced MDA generation (P<0.05) and increased SOD activity (P<0.05). Following OGD/R,the treatment of NADPH can inhibit MMP9 level (P<0.05) and promote the recovery of occludin level (P<0.05). Conclusion NADPH can protect HUVECs from the damage induced by OGD/R by reducing oxidative stress and regulating the expressions of MMP9 and occludin.

Objective: To investigate the resistance to rifampicin and isoniazid and the changing trends among patients with pulmonary tuberculosis in Luohu District, Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province from 2012 to 2022, so as to provide insights into improving drug-resistant pulmonary tuberculosis control and prevention strategies. Methods: Basic information, treatment classification and drug resistance data of patients with pulmonary tuberculosis and positive pathogenic detection in Luohu District from 2012 to 2022 were collected through the Tuberculosis Surveillance System of Chinese Disease Prevention and Control Information System, and resistance rates of rifampicin and isoniazid and the changing trends were analyzed. Results: A total of 2 126 patients with pulmonary tuberculosis were collected and had a median age of 34 (interquartile range, 25) years, including 1 334 males (62.75%) and 792 females (37.25%). There were 302 patients with drug-resistance in Luohu District from 2012 to 2022, with a resistance rate of 14.21%. Among them, 60 patients were monoresistant to rifampicin (2.82%), 113 patients were monoresistant to isoniazid (5.32%), and 129 patients were multidrug resistant (6.07%). The rate of rifampicin monoresistance showed a downward trend from 2012 to 2022, while the rate of multidrug resistance showed an upward trend (both P<0.05). There was no significant tendency in the rate of isoniazid monoresistance (P>0.05). The rate of multidrug resistance among patients without Shenzhen residence was higher than that among patients with Shenzhen residence; the rates of rifampicin resistance and multidrug resistance among retreated patients were higher than those among treatment-naïve patients (all P<0.05). Conclusions The rate of rifampicin monoresistance appeared a downward trend and the rate of multidrug resistance appeared an upward trend among patients with pulmonary tuberculosis in Luohu District from 2012 to 2022. Attention should be given to non-Shenzhen residence and retreated patients.

Objective:To study the clinical features and prognostic risk factors of gastrointestinal (GI) involvement in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), and improve clinicians' understanding of GI involvement in SLE.Methods:The clinical data of SLE patients admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University from September 1, 2012 to September 1, 2019 were retrospectively analyzed. Two hundred and forty-three patients with GI system involvement were the GI system affected group, and 486 patients with-out GI system involvement at the same period were randomly selected as the control group. The clinical mani-festations, laboratory tests and treatment effects of the two groups were compared by t test, Wilcoxon signed-rank test and χ2 test and Logistic regression was used to analyze the prognostic risk of SLE with GI system involvement. Results:① There were 243 SLE patients with GI involvement, with the proportion of GI involvement in SLE patients of 6.4%(243/3 820), and as the first manifestation with GI system symptoms accounted for 20.2%(49/243). The common causes were lupus hepatitis accounted for 52.3%(127/243), lupus mesenteric vasculitis (LMV) for 35.0%(85/243), pseudo Intestinal obstruction (IPO) for 9.9%(24/243), lupus-related pancreatitis for 8.6%(21/243), and protein-losing enteropathy (PLE) as 7.0%(17/243). ② Compared with the control group, the group with GI involvement had a lower average age [(38±14) year vs(32±15) year, t=-2.47, P=0.014], a shorter median duration of illness [12.0(3.0, 72.0) months vs 5.0(1.1, 24.8) months, Z=-5.67 , P<0.001], a higher median systemic lupus erythematosus disease activity index (SLEDAI) score [10(6,28) vs 16(9, 37), Z=2.24 , P<0.001], the occurrence of skin rash (38.7% vs 53.5%, χ2=14.46), arthritis (36.4% vs 46.7%, χ2=7.12 , P=0.008), myositis (43.0% vs 56.4%, χ2=11.53 , P=0.001), pericarditis [(216±111)×10 9/L vs (175±114)×10 9/L, t=-4.69 , P<0.001], thrombocytopenia, and hydroureterosis (1.0% vs 12.8%, χ2=47.47 , P<0.001) were high, but the incidence of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) (31.2% vs 10.7%, χ2=36.99 , P<0.001) was low; Serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT) [17(10, 29) U/L vs 59(16, 127) U/L, Z=9.65 , P<0.001], aspartate aminotransferase (AST) [25.0 (18.0, 37.0) U/L vs 82.5(25.0, 289.0) U/L, Z=10.57 , P<0.001], alkaline phosphatase (ALP) [58(46, 76) U/L vs 82(56, 187)U/L, Z=8.42 , P<0.001], Creatine kinase (CK) [44.0(28.0, 83.0) U/L vs 58.5(34.0, 176.0) U/L, Z=4.46 , P<0.001], lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) [(309±206) U/L vs (443±332) U/L, t=5.64 , P<0.001], fasting blood glucose (FBS) [(5.0±1.5) mmol/L vs (5.3±1.7) mmol/L, t=2.16 , P=0.031], triglyceride (TG) [(2.0±1.3) mmol/L vs (2.7±2.2) mmol/L, t=4.55 , P<0.001] increased, albumin (ALB) [(30±7) g/L vs (27±7) g/L, t=5.87 , P<0.001)] and high-density lipoprotein (HDL) [(1.1±0.8) mmol/L vs (0.9±0.5) mmol/L, t=-4.20 , P<0.001] decrease, and anti SSB antibody positive rate (16.0% vs 9.5%, χ2=5.60 , P=0.018) decreased.③ After 3 months' follow-up, 203 patients with SLE GI involvement were relieved, 30 patients (12.3%) died, and 9 patients (1.8%) died in the control group. Ninety-five (46.8%) patients in the remission group had a significantly higher rate of cyclophosphamide treatment when compared with 5(12.5%) in the non-remission group ( χ2=16.23, P<0.001) . Logistic regression analysis showed that no increase of PAH, elevated erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), ALT, glutamyl transpeptidase (GGT), indirect bilirubin (IBIL) and high SLEDAI scores, hydroureteral dilatation, decreased ALB and HDL were independent related factors for SLE GI involvement, while ascites and elevated FBS were SLE GI involvement factors of poor prognosis. Conclusion:SLE patients with GI involvement have a high mortality rate, and lupus hepatitis and LMV are common. Hydroureterosis, high SLEDAI score, abnormal liver function are risk factors for GI involvement. Jaundice and elevated FBS are the risk factors for poor prognosis, and treatment with cyclophosphamide is the protective factor.

OBJECTIVES: To explore the Impact of community subculture of men who have sex with men (MSM) on the occurrence of high-risk sexual behavior based on the health belief model. METHODS: A qualitative research method was used to conduct in-depth interviews with 17 MSM by one-to-one and half-structured way, and thematic analysis was used to analyze the data. RESULTS: There were several factors for high-risk sexual behavior in MSM subculture, such as trust, subjective assessment for partner or personal health status, the role in inserting, awareness of HIV infection among partners, perception of HIV and homosexual discrimination, difficulty in maintaining a fixed partner, family responsibility,and so on. Self-efficacy also affected MSM's high-risk sexual behavior. CONCLUSIONS High-risk sexual behavior in MSM population is influenced by individual, group, and intra-circle subculture. Cognitive bias for HIV infection in MSMs can be intervened by constructing a preventive intervention model for high-risk sexual behavior.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) on cardiac myosin light chain kinase (MLCK) expression in diabetic rats.
 METHODS: A total of 32 male SD rats were randomly divided into a normal control group (NC group), a diabetic control group (DM), a NaHS treatment group (DM+NaHS) and a NaHS group (NaHS) (n=8 in each group). Intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin was utilized to establish Type 1 diabetic rat model. The diabetic rats in the DM+NaHS and NaHS groups were intraperitoneally injected with 28 μmol/kg NaHS solution. Eight weeks later, the ventricular hemodynamic parameters, the ratio of heart weight/body weight (HW/BW ratio), the levels of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) and creatine kinase MB isozyme (CK-MB) in serum were determined. The ultrastructures of myocardium were observed under electron microscopy. The expressions of MLCK mRNA and protein level in myocardium were detected by RT-PCR and Western blot, respectively.
 RESULTS: Compared with the NC group, there was no significant difference in the various indexes in the NaHS group (all P>0.05). The function of left ventricular contract and relaxation were decreased obviously in diabetic rats, while the HW/BW ratio was increased (all P<0.01). The levels of LDH and CK-MB were increased (both P<0.01) in serum, while the levels of MLCK mRNA and protein were decreased significantly (both P<0.01) in myocardial tissues. Compared with the DM group, the left ventricular hemodynamic parameters and myocardial ultrastructure damage were improved in the DM+NaHS group, while the HW/BW ratio was decreased (all P<0.05). The levels of LDH and CK-MB were decreased (both P<0.01), while the levels of MLCK mRNA and protein were increased significantly (both P<0.01).
 CONCLUSION H2S can protect myocardium in diabetic rats, which may be associated with upregulation of cardiac MLCK.
