Objective:To explore the action of the second signal system in the activatied and proliferating T cells and the induction of apoptosis of the hepatoma cells. Methods:The T cells were costimulated by anti CD28 and anti CD80(B7.1)McAb and acted on the hepatoma cells(BEL 7402),then testing the concentration of cAMP?cGMP and Ca 2+ in the T cells and the apoptosis of the hepatoma cells. Results:The concentration of cAMP was increased temporarily at first, then decreased rapidly, and increased 1 2 times again when acted on the hepatoma cells. The concentration of cGMP was increased 6 8 times fast and the concentration of Ca 2+ obviously increased 2 3 times too.The peak of them was at the fourth day and positive related to apoptosis of the hepatoma cells. Conclusion:The level of the second signal system of cAMP?cGMP and Ca 2+ were significant correlated with the T cells activated and porliferating and the cytotoxic effect.

It is the aim of studies in cognitive process to understand how the impressive cognitive capacity of the human mind is uninterruptedly developed and how the process is controlled. We have been focusing attention on the central question with stereoscopic research. A multi-channel EEG data acquisition system is constructed for cognition studies which not only works perfectly in the EEG collection and signal processing of stereoscopic visual evoked potentials(VEP) but also is suitable for investigative and clinical use. We have identified the fact that the processing of stereoscopic depth information is done in the cortical advance functional areas with labeled characteristic signaling of the depth related VEP and the results were shown to be of no difference when compared with the ones of other investigations. We believe, the stereoscopic depth cognition is both a dynamic multi-factor processing process and a consequence of depth perception in advanced cortical areas through biological feedback to the whole process of visual signal processing. It is our novel and significant supposition in the psychophysical study, and the experimental results of the VEP are presented in this article.

Chinese Journal of School Health 2023;44(4):602-605
Objective:
To investigate the epidemiological data of an outbreak of influenza A in a primary school in Shanghai, to provide reference for targeted prevention and control measures.
Methods:
A field epidemiological method was used to investigate and collect the data of influenza A outbreak in a primary school in Jing an District from November 8 to December 6, 2022, through on site follow up and telephone return visit to health teachers and cases. The distribution characteristics of the epidemic were analyzed by descriptive epidemiology.
Results:
The first case developed symptoms of cough, sore throat, and fever on the morning of November 8th 2022, with a maximum body temperature of 38.6 ℃. Later, the clinical diagnosis was influenza A. The total number of influenza like cases reported in this outbreak is 99, including 92 students and 7 teachers. The total incidence rate was 9.45%. The clinical symptoms of all cases were fever, sore throat, and cough; 27 cases of influenza A were diagnosed by hospital rapid diagnostic reagents. The second grade students had the highest case incidence rate(24.46%), and there was a statistically significant difference in case incidence rates among students of different grades ( χ 2=48.28, P <0.01). The case incidence rate on the second floor was the highest (23.47%), and there was a statistically significant difference between the case incidence rates on different floors ( χ 2=52.38, P < 0.01 ). Etiological testing showed that the influenza virus causing this outbreak was type A H3N2 virus.
Conclusion
This outbreak is a campus cluster outbreak caused by influenza A (H3N2) virus. The health and education departments should strengthen cooperation to effectively implement prevention and control measures of infectious diseases, and timely identify the source of infection and cut off the transmission route.

Objective:To screen and identify autoantibody biomarker to diagnose patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC).Methods:Candidate autoantibodies against tumor-associated antigens were identified from NPC CNE2 cells using serological proteome analysis. Levels of candidate autoantibody biomarkers were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) in 50 patients with NPC and 80 normal controls recruited from the Cancer Hospital of Shantou University Medical College between July 2014 and January 2015. Receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC) was employed to evaluate diagnostic efficacy. Results:Serological proteome analysis showed that sera from patients with NPC yielded a positive spot, of which was identified as enolase 1 (ENO1). ELISA results showed that the level of serum autoantibody against ENO1 in patients with NPC was significantly higher than that in normal controls [0.165 (0.088, 0.378) vs. 0.100 (0.054, 0.117), Z=4.077, P<0.001]. With the optimum diagnostic cutoff of 0.164, ROC curve showed the diagnostic sensitivity and specificity of autoantibodies against ENO1 were 52.0% and 90.0%, respectively. Measurement of autoantibody against ENO1 demonstrated a positive rate of 75.0% for early stage NPC. Conclusion:Autoantibody against ENO1 may be a potential diagnostic biomarker for NPC.

Objective To investigate the effects of glycyrrhizin on the cell model of alcoholic fatty liver(AFL) induced in vitro and its possible mechanism. Methods The in vitro induced AFL cells were divided into the control group, separating ethanol group, glycyrrhizin group and continuous induction group. The levels of intracellular triglyceride(TG) and leakage amounts of ALT and AST,cell cycle change and protein and mRNA expressions of PPAR-γ,SREBP-1 and SCAP were measured. Results Glycyrrhizin could obviously reduce the apoptosis occurrence;compared with the control group, the level of intracellular TG and the leakage amounts of ALT and AST,and the protein and mRNA expressions of PPAR-γ,SREBP-1 and SCAP were significantly decreased(P<0.05).Conclusion Glycyrrhizin may alleviate the fat change of in vitro induced AFL cells by down-regulating expressions of PPAR-γ,SREBP-1 and SCAP.

Objective:To compare the changes of biliary microbiota after enteral extended biliary stents (EEBS) implantation with that of conventional plastic stents in animal experiment, and to preliminarily investigate its possible mechanism in preventing stents occlusion. Methods:A total of 12 healthy Bama minipigs were randomly assigned to the conventional plastic stent group ( n=6) and the EEBS group ( n=6) using simple random method. The bile samples of all pigs were collected before stents implantation and 4 weeks after stents placement. The biliary microbiota composition and diversity before and after different stents implantation were analyzed by 16S rRNA gene sequencing and compared. Results:No complications including acute cholangitis, perforation, bleeding, or death occurred in 12 pigs. Eight days after stents implantation, stents were out of bile duct in all pigs under endoscopy, while the bile samples were collected again for analysis. The main composition of biliary microbiota at the phylum level were Proteobacteria, Firmicutes and Bacteroidota. Alpha-diversities revealed the Shannon ( P=0.004) and Simpson index ( P=0.008) significantly decreased in the conventional stent group after stents placement, and Bata diversity analysis also showed a significant difference in microbial composition (Anosim: R=0.514 8, P=0.011). There was no significant difference in Observed species index ( P=0.095), Chao1 index ( P=0.136), Shannon index ( P=0.353), Simpson index ( P=0.227) or Bata diversity (Anosim: R=0.059 3, P=0.187) in the EEBS group before and after stents placement. LEfSe algorithm indicated Bacteroides_ fragilis and Proteobacteria- Gammaproteobacteria- Enterobacterales- Enterobacteriaceae- scherichia_ Shigella- Escherichia_ coli significantly increased in the conventional stent group, and Desulfobacterota- Desulfovibrionia- Desulfovibrionales- Desulfovibrionaceae- Bilophila significantly increased in the EEBS group after stents placement. Conclusion:The biliary microbiota change slightly after EEBS implantation in the short-term, and EEBS may prevent duodenobiliary reflux by prolonging the reflux path.
