Objective To explore the association between human papilloma virus(HPV)infection and antisperm antibodies(As-Ab)in male infertile patients in Xinjiang area.Methods A total of 127 cases of infertile male patients were selected as experimental group,other 130 cases of normal male were enrolled in the control group.HPV sperm infection was detected by using reverse dot blot hybridization kit.The levels of AsAbs in semen specimen were measured by using the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).Results The infection rate of male infertile patients(67.7%)was higher than that of normal male(1 6.2%),with signifi-cant differences(P <0.05).The positive rate of AsAb of male infertile patients with HPV infection(38.4%)was higher than that of male infertile patients without HPV infection(1 7.1%),with significant differences(P <0.05).Compared with male infertile pa-tients without HPV infection,the percentages of sperm motility and grade (a+b)sperm motility were decreased in male infertile pa-tients with HPV infection,wihile the sperm malformation rate was increased in male infertile patients with HPV infection,with sig-nificant differences(P <0.05).Conclusion The HPV infection rate of male infertile patients is relatively high in this area.HPV sperm infection could be associated with AsAb that may further reduce male fertility.

Objective To investigate the expression of macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MIF) and CD_(74), the receptor of MIF, in preeclamptic placenta and its correlation with the pathogenesis of preeclampsia.Methods From March 2008 to November 2008,69 preeclamptic women who delivered in the Department of Obstetrics, Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University Medical College,were recruited,including 33 women with mild preeclampsia (MPE group) and 36 women with severe preeclampsia (SPE group).Another 43 healthy pregnant women were taken as control group.Immunoturbidimetry was applied to measure the concentrations of C-reactive protein (CRP) in maternal blood.The expressions of MIF and CD_(74) in placenta were tested with immunohistochemistry and the expressions of MIF mRNA and CD_(74) mRNA were detected by semiquantitative RT-PCR.The relationship between maternal blood level of CRP and MIF mRNA and CD_(74) mRNA in placenta was analyzed in the MPE and SPE group.Results (1) MIF and CD_(74) were expressed in the placenta of all pregnant women in the 3 groups, as shown in brown-yellow color, and significantly higher expression was found in the MPE and SPE group.(2) The expression of MIF mRNA and CD_(74) mRNA in the MPE group (0.70±0.13 and 0.96±0.16), SPE group (0.88 ± 0.12 and 1.08 ± 0.15) were significantly higher than in the control group (0.67 ± 0.11 and 0.83 ± 0.14) (P < 0.01), and statistical significance was also found between the MPE and SPE group (P <0.01).(3)The maternal blood concentrations of CRP in the MPE and SPE group were significantly higher than in the control group [(15.3±7.0) mg/L and (21.6±9.1)mg/L vs (4.8 ± 1.8) mg/L, P <0.01] , and significant difference was also found between the MPE and SPE group (P <0.01).(4) In the two preeclamptic groups, the blood concentrations of CRP were positively correlated with the expression of both MIF mRNA(r =0.67 ,P <0.01)and CD_(74) mRNA(r =0.83 ,P <0.01) in placenta.Positive correlation was also found between the levels of MIF mRNA and CD_(74) mRNA in placenta (r =0.93 ,P < 0.01).Conclusions Overexpression of MIF and CD_(74) in the placenta may up-regulate the CRP level in maternal blood, resulting in systemic inflammatory reaction and vascular endothelium damage which may be involved in the pathogenesis of preeclampsia.

Objective To investigate the correlation of gestational diabetes mellitus and preeclampsia and its influence on delivery outcome.Methods A retrospective analysis of 4 636 pregnant women were made,who were sin-gleton pregnancy and gestational age≥32 weeks,and the data of GDM,PE,delivery outcome were collected.Then,the incidence of PE in GDM or non-GDM were compared,the delivery outcome in pregnant women without interval med-icine comorbidity ( A group) ,GDM pregnant women( B group) ,PE pregnant women( C group) ,pregnant women com-bined GDM and PE(D group) were analyzed.Results The incidence rate of GDM was 3.71%(172/4 636) in the whole,the incidence rate of PE was 5.65% (262/4 636).The incidence rates of PE among GDM and non-GDM pregnant women were 11.63%(20/172) and 5.42%(242/4 464),the difference was statistically significant(χ2 =5.983,P<0.05).The average pre-pregnant body mass index(BMI),Apgal scores at 1 minute and 5 minutes were compared,and the differences among the four groups were statistically significant( F=29.142,16.074,35.415,all P<0.01),and those in C group,D group were significantly lower than in group A and group B [t(C-A) =5.386, 4.821,5.224,t(C-B) =5.023,4.456,6.278,t(D-A) =6.753,5.012,6.443,t(D-B) =6.475,4.727,7.622,all P<0.01].The rates of neonate intensive care,giant baby natality,small-for-gestational-age children,premature labor were compared,and the differences among the four groups were statistically significant (χ2 =157.290, 96.129, 46.969,27.005,all P<0.1),the rates of neonate intensive care in C group and D group were higher than in A group and B group[χ2(C-A) =47.294,χ2(C-B) =15.547,χ2(D-A) =17.280,χ2(D-B) =7.088,all P<0.01],the rates of giant baby natality in B group were higher than A group,C group [χ2(B-A) =29.445,χ2(B-C) =6.597,all P<0.05],the rates of small-for-gestational-age children and premature labor in D group were higher than A group,B group and C group[χ2(D-A) =42.676,26.261,χ2(D-B) =9.070,10.879,χ2(D-C) =25.117,8.653,all P<0.01].Conclusion Pregnant women with GDM might have higher risk of suffering PE than those non-GDM gravidas,the PE,GDM com-bined with PE seriously influence perinatal outcome,pregnancy care should be strengthened to prevent and treat.

Objective To study the DSA hepatoarteriography manifestations in hepatic carcinoma after endocare cryocare system (ECS)treatment for improving the comprehensive therapy of hepatic carcinoma.Methods Thirty eight male patients with primary liver cancer ( n =32) and hepatic metastasis (n=6) were enrolled in this study. Common hepatic arteriography or super-selection angiography was performed in all patients after ECS treatment in 7 days and 30-60 days.Results The foci covered with ice ball were shown as round or ovoid. Single tumor less than 5 cm was covered completely, while the shape of focus covered with more ice ball showed irregularity, mass-like and diffuse nodulss with diseminated tumor vessels and tumor stains. The shortcoming of ECS included 18 missed areas, hepatic A-V shunt and hepatic A-portal V shunt in 4, bleeding in puncture tract 5, and extravasation of contrast material in 6 cases. Delineated margin existed between the frozon area and surrounding tissues.Conclusions ①ECS is effective on liver tumor 5 cm. ③ Tendency of missed areas in huge tumor and widespread nodes accurs after ECS. ④Complication occurs easily during ECS performance near the hepatic capsule and porta hepatis. ⑤TACE would improve comprehensive therapy effect of liver cancer about7 days after cryotherapy.

Lung is the most common metastatic site of head and neck squamous-cell carcinoma (HNSCC). Systemic chemotherapy is still the standard treatment for metastatic HNSCC patients, and the prognosis is poor. Pulmonary metastasectomy has been regarded as the stardard treatment modality for selected pulmonary metastases from certain cancers including colorectal cancer and sarcoma. However, present studies about pulmonary metastasectomy for metastatic HNSCC are retrospective and no consensus has been reached on the value of pulmonary metastasectomy. This review focuses on the efficiency, indication, operative mode and method and the prognostic factors of pulmonary metastasectomy for pulmonary metastases from HNSCC. The limitations of current studies and the challenges and perspectives of pulmonary metastasectomy are also discussed.

[Abstract] Objective To study the effects of resveratrol on chemokines CCR5,CXCL10 of serum and synovial fluid in acute gouty arthritis of rats.Methods According to random number table,36 Wista rats were divided into six groups:i.e.control group,model group,colchicine group,high dose resveratrol group (HR),medium dose resveratrol group (MR),and low dose resveratrol group (LR).The rats were respectively administrated with normal saline,colchicine suspension,high dose resveratrol,medium dose resveratrol,low dose resveratrol for 7 days,once a day.Rats acute gouty arthritis modles were estalished on the fourth day by monosodium urate solution (concentration of 25 mg/ml,0.05 ml) injected into the ankle cavity,while 0.05 ml normal saline was injected into joint cavity of rats in control group.2,9,24,48,72 hours after model estabilishment,blood samples were collected from inner canthus to detect levels of interleukin (IL)-1β,CCR5,CXCL10.72 hours after model estabilishment,synovial fluid were collected from ankel to detect levels of IL-1β,CCR5,CXCL10.The joint swelling index was observed periodically.Results The levels of IL-1 β in the low,medium,and high doses of resveratrol were (9.63 ± 0.71),(7.67 ± 0.48),and (6.66 ± 0.29) pg/ml respectively,being significantly lower than that in the model group (11.85 ± 0.45) pg/ml (P＜0.05) in joint fluid.The levels of CCR5 in the medium and high doses of resveratrol groups were(4.49 ± 0.25) and (4.65 ± 0.25) ng/ml respectively,being significantly lower than that in the model group (5.64 ± 0.28) ng/ml (P＜0.05).The levels of CXCL10 in the medium and high doses of resveratrol groups were significantly lower than that in the model group [(86.79 ± 2.90) and (89.61 ± 5.47) vs (110.13 ± 4.02) pg/ml,P＜ 0.05].The histopathologic results showed that resveratrol might reduce acute gouty arthritis joint edema,improve inflammatory cells infiltrating.Conclusions The levels of IL-1β,CCR5,and CXCL10 were raised in acute gouty arthritis.Resveratrol effectively controls acute gouty arthritis attack,and the curative effect is dose dependent.

Objective: To explore aspirin resistance (AR) phenomenon in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD) for secondary prevention and to study the relationships between AR and COX1, COX2, TBXA2R gene polymorphisms. Methods: A total of 2881 CAD patients taken aspirin (100 mg/day) in 7 consecutive days were enrolled. Among them, 2 groups were established as AR group, n=166 and Control group, n=200 aspirin sensitive patients. Platelet aggregation function was induced by arachidonic acid (AA), COX1, COX2 and TBXA2R gene polymorphisms were examined by polymerase chain reaction-restricted fragment length polymorphisms (PCR-RFLP) method. Results: The occurrence rate of AR was 5.76% (166/2881). There were 8 tagSNPs locus in 3 genes as in COX1:(rs3842788), (rs4273915), (rs7866582); in: COX2 (rs3218625); in TBXA2R: (rs2238630), (rs2238631), (rs2238633), (rs3786989). The frequencies of wild type, heterozygous genotype and homozygous genotype were similar between 2 groups. Conclusion: The incidence rate of AR is not high in CHD patients with regular aspirin medication; single nucleotide gene polymorphisms of COX1, COX2 and TBXA2R have no obvious correlation to AR.

Research of co-authorship network can reveal the scientific research collaboration network and can thus help us to have an understanding of it. Graphic database and Neo4J were described in detail due to the limitations of relationship database in processing the data of co-authorship network. Graphic database Neo4J-based research and practice of co-authorship network were analyzed with the Institutional Knowledge System of AMMS that we were involved in its construction as an example, and the advantages of Neo4J-based co-authorship network were summarized.

Objective:To investigate the association of muscle mass loss with atherosclerosis in elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM).Methods:A total of 322 patients with T2DM aged≥60 years old were divided into muscle mass loss group( n=152) and non-muscle mass loss group( n=170) according to their appendicular skeletal muscle mass index(ASMI). All participants underwent physical examination, dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry check, carotid and lower extremity ultrasound, as well as laboratory tests. Results:Among 322 patients, 49(15.22%) patients were suffered from sarcopenia and 152(47.2%) patients with reduced muscle mass. The carotid and lower extremity atherosclerosis grades in the muscle mass loss group were significantly higher than those in the non-muscle mass loss group( P<0.05), with lower body mass index(BMI), T-score, ASMI, uric acid, and homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance index( P<0.05). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that carotid atherosclerosis and lower extremity atherosclerosis were risk factors for muscle mass loss while BMI and 25-(OH)D 3 were protective factors for muscle mass loss. There existed a consistency in carotid atherosclerosis grade and lower extremity atherosclerosis grade of elderly patients with T2DM( P<0.01). Conclusion:Atherosclerosis has a predictive value for early sarcopenia in elderly patients with T2DM.

Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of maternal prenatal education on promoting breastfeeding rate for preterm infants in neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).Methods Gravidas who were admitted to Peking University First Hospital for any risk of preterm delivery from November 2013 to December 2014 and preterm infants admitted to the NICU (length of stay ≥ 5 d) of the same hospital during the same period were involved.All the gravidas received prenatal education and completed questionnaires.Two hundred and ninety-five preterm infants who met the inclusion criteria were divided into two groups including education group (n=125) and non-education group (n=170) according to whether their mothers received prenatal education or not.Conditions of the preterm infants during hospitalization and after discharge and breastfeeding rates were comparatively analyzed between the two groups.T test,Chi-test and Wilcoxon rank-sum test were used for statistical analysis.Results (1) There were 380 gravidas received questionnaires.Among them,346 (91.1％)completed the questionnaires and were recruited in this study.Only 31.8％ (110/346) of these gravidas were active in learning more about breastfeeding and 46.2％ (160/346) of them lacked confidence in breastfeeding after the appearance of preterm delivery signs.There were significant improvements in their attitudes towards considering breastfeeding seriously and discussing with their family,confidence in breastfeeding,the importance of colostrum and how to breastfeed a preterm infant in hospital after maternal prenatal education (all P＜0.001).Prenatal education was thought to be helpful in 77.5％ (268/346) of the gravidas.(2) The two groups of preterm infants showed good homogeneities in gestational age,gender,birth weight and other basal conditions as well as in incidences of in-hospital complications and conditions after discharge (all P＞0.05).Proportions of breast milk intake (breast milk intake over total dairy intake) in preterm infants were higher in education group than those in non-education group within 5 d after birth [0.0 (0.0-16.5)％ vs 0.0 (0.0-2.5)％,Z=-3.422],＞5-≤ 7 d [33.7 (0.0-82.8)％ vs 0.0 (0.0-50.3)％,Z=-3.070],＞7-≤ 14 d [75.2(23.5-96.4)％ vs 47.6(0.0-92.2)％,Z=-2.345] and during hospitalization [58.4 (21.0-78.8)％ vs 31.9 (0.0-71.7)％,Z=-3.902] (all P＜0.05).Breastfeeding rates were higher in education group than those in non-education group at the age of 5 d [47.2％(59/125) vs 27.1％ (46/170),x2=12.747],7 d [70.4％ (88/125) vs 51.2％ (87/170),x2=11.031],three months [83.3％(65/78) vs 56.1％ (60/107),x2=15.297] and six months [64.5％ (49/76) vs 49.1％ (53/108),x2=4.282] (all P＜0.05).Exclusive breastfeeding rates in the first,third and sixth months after birth were higher in education group [45.7％(53/116),42.3％ (33/78) and 36.9％ (28/76)] than those in non-education group [21.3％ (32/150),28.0％ (30/107)and 22.2％ (24/108)] (22=17.847,4.091 and 4.703,all P＜0.05),respectively.Conclusions Most gravidas with risk factors of preterm delivery have no confidence on breastfeeding.Prenatal maternal education is an effective and feasible intervention to improve breastfeeding rate for preterm infants in NICU from early hospitalization till six months after birth.
