Objective To investigate the effect of mindfulness-based stress reduction on job burnout of nurses.Methods By convenience sampling method,a questionnaire survey was conducted among 90 nurses in a third-grade and level-A general hospital in Zhengzhou.The nurses were randomly divided into the control group and the intervention group with 45 nurses in each group.Nurses in the intervention group were intervened under the mindfulness-based stress reduction,but nurses in the control group received psychological guidance and research method courses.The job burnout level of both groups of nurses was assessed before the treatment and 8 weeks after the treatment respectively.Results After the intervention,the factor scores of emotional exhaust,depersonalization decreased and personal achievement score increased.The incidence rate of job burnout significantly decreased.Conclusions The mindfulnessbased stress reduction therapy can relieve nurses' job burnout.

Objective The research aimed to translate the English version of the Caregiver Preparedness Scale (CPS) into Chinese and to test the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of CPS in caregivers of stroke survivors. Methods Totally 176 stroke survivors and their caregivers were recruited and were investigated by the Chinese version of CPS. Results The internal consistency coefficient of the Chinese version of CPS was 0.925;the test-retest reliability was 0.807 (P<0.01). Factor analysis got one factor, which explained 61.647% of the total variance. The factor loading of each item was>0.4. Conclusions The Chinese version of CPS has been proved to be reliable and valid. It can be used as a valid tool for the measurement of caregiver preparedness in caregivers of stroke survivors.

Objective To translate the English version of the Exercise Self-Efficacy Scale (ESES) into Chinese and test the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of ESES in patients after stroke. Methods Totally 214 patients after stroke were recruited and were investigated by the Chinese version of ESES. Results The internal consistency coefficient of the Chinese version of ESES was 0.879. The split half reliability coefficient was 0.858(P<0.01). The test-retest reliability was 0.657. Item-total correlation coefficient ranged between 0.627 and 0.779 (P<0.01). Factor analysis got one factor, which explained 59.745%of the total variance, and the factor loading of each item was above 0.4. Using General Perceived Self-Efficacy Scale (GSES) as an external criterion, the Pearson correlation coefficient of ESES with GSES was 0.496. Conclusions The Chinese version of ESES has been proved to be reliable and valid. It can be used as a valid tool for the measurement of exercise self-efficacy in patients after stroke.

Objective The research aimed to translate the English version of the Breastfeeding Self-efficacy Scale Short Form (BSES-SF) into Chinese and to test the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of BSES-SF. Methods Totally 308 mothers were recruited and were investigated by the Chinese version of BSES-SF. Results The internal consistency Alpha coefficient of the Chinese version of BSES-SF was 0.927, P<0.01, the half reliability coefficient was 0.853, P<0.01;the test-retest was 0.811, P<0.01. Factor analysis got one factor, which explained 52.498% of the total variance. Conclusions The Chinese version of BSES-SF has been proved to be reliable and valid. It can be used as a valid tool for the measurement of the breastfeeding self-efficacy among Chinese mothers.

Objective To translate the Work Limitations Questionnaire and examine its reliability and validity,and explore its applicability at home.Methods 300 nurses were surveyed with the Chinese version of the Work Limitations Questionnaire by convenience sampling; and internal consistency reliability,test-retest reliability,construct validity and criterion validity were applied to evaluate the questionnaire.Results The Cronbach α coefficients of the time managing scale,physical scale,mental-interpersonal scale,output scale and total questionnaire were 0.882,0.864,0.913,0.839 and 0.922 respectively;and their test-retest reliability coefficients were 0.857,0.837,0.871,0.803 and 0.893 respectively.Four common factors were abstracted by using factor analysis,with the cumulative variance contribution rate at 61.293％.Using SF-36 as an external criterion,the correlation coefficients of the WLQ scores with the physical function dimension and mental health dimension of the SF-36 were-0.24 and-0.33.Conclusions The reliability and validity of the questionnaire is reasonable.So this questionnaire can be used to measure employee's presenteeism.

Objective To investigate the distribution and drug resistance of the gram positive bacteria isolates from hospital in Chongqing during 2006-2011 .Methods Non-repetitive gram positive bacterias were collected retrospectively from ten hospitals in Chongqing .Antimicrobial susceptibility testing of all clinical isolates were carried out using Kirby-Bauer(KB) .Results 14 473 strains were isolated .There were 4 840 strains of Staphylococcus aureus (33 .4% ) ,2 566 strains of Staphylococcus epidermidis (17 .7% ) ,1 822 strains of Staphylococcus haemolyticus (12 .6% ) ,1 325 strains of Enterococcus (E .faecalis/E .faecium )(9 .2% ) . Staphylococcus was highly sensitive to nitrofurantoin ,rifampicin ,piperacillin/tazobactam ,linezolid ,teicoplanin and vancomycin ,but their resistance rate to ampicillin/sulbactam ,oxacillin ,penicillin and clarithromycin was high .The resistance rate of E .faecium to the majority of antimicrobial agents was obviously higher than that of E .faecalis ,excluding imipenem ,chloramphenicol and tetracy-cline .Vancomycin and linezolid still remain the strongest antibacterial activity to Enterococcus .Conclusion The distribution and drug resistance of pathogenic bacteria in Chongqing present regional particularity ,and antibiotic resistance is severe .It is significant to strengthen the epidemiology study of pathogenic bacteria and to develop policies to intervene in the use of antimicrobial agents .

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the protective effect of the compatibilities of ginsenosides Rg1 and aconitine on myocar-dial cell of in vitro cultured heart failure model. METHODS:The myocardial cells of neonate rat were grouped into normal control group,model group,positive control group(Deslanoside injection,1×10-7 mol/L),ginsenosides Rg1 group(1×10-8 mol/L),acon-itine group (1 × 10-9 mol/L) or their compatibilities groups (1∶1,2∶1,1∶2,V/V). Except for normal control group,other groups were given 0.8%pentobarbital sodium to induce heart failure model of myocardial cells. After modeling,each group was given rele-vant medicine for 1 h,and then the activities of T-ATPase,Ca2+-Mg2+-ATPase,Na+-K+-ATPase in cells were all detected. The activi-ties of acyl carrier protein(ACP)and lactate dehydrogenase(LDH),and the contents of brain natriuretic party(BNP),TNF-α and total glycogen were measured in cell culture fluid. RESULTS:Compared with normal control group, T-ATPase and Ca2+-Mg2+-ATPase activities were decreased significantly in model group;meanwhile,Na+-K+-ATPase activity was increased signifi-cantly,and ACP,LDH activities and BNP content in cell culture fluid were increased significantly(P<0.05). Compared with mod-el group,the activities of T-ATPase in treatment groups were increased significantly,while the activity of LDH in cell culture fluid was decreased significantly;when the volume ratio of ginsenoside Rg1 to aconitine was 2∶1,protective effect was the strongest;the activities of Na+-K+-ATPase in aconitine group and compatibility groups were all decreased significantly,with statistical signifi-cance(P<0.05). The activities of ACP and BNP in cell culture fluid were all decreased in treatment groups,but the content of to-tal glycogen in cells and the TNF-α content of in cell culture fluid had no change (P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Compatibility of ginsenosides Rg1 and aconitine can improve ATPase activities and membranous permeability,regulate BNP secretion and protect myocardial cell of heart failure model,especially the compatibility of ginsenosides Rg1 to aconitine of 2∶1 ratio.

Objective To evaluate the effect of simvastatin and atorvastatin on clinical progression of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in elderly patients with metabolic syndrome (MS).Methods A total of 135 patients with BPH and MS aged 60 years and over were divided into three groups:simvastatin group (n=45,40 mg/d),atorvastatin group (n=45,20 mg/d) and control group (n=45).BMI,waist circumference,blood pressure,levels of fasting blood glucose (FBG),glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c),triglyceride (TG),total cholesterol (TC),low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (LDL C),high sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP),interleukin 6 (IL-6),testosterone,estradiol,prostate specific antigen (PSA) and international prognostic scoring system (IPSS) and prostate volume were detected before and 12 months after treatment.Results Compared with control group,patients receiving simvastatin or atorvastatin for 12 months showed that the levels of serum TC,TG,LDL-C,hs-CRP,IL-6,IPSS were decreased(all P＜0.05),the level of serum HDL-C level were increased (all P＜0.05),and prostate volume was reduced(P＜0.05).The decrease in prostate volume was more in patients receiving simvastatin than receiving atorvastatin [(10.86±5.65) ml vs.(5.91 ± 3.03)ml,P＜0.05].Multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that the reduction of prostate volume was positively related to the decreases of serum TC and IL-6 levels,and to the increase of serum HDL-C level.Conclusions Simvastatin and atorvastatin have the efficacy reducing prostate volume and improving obstruction symptoms of lower urinary tract,and slowing the clinical progression of BPH and simvastatin is more effective than atorvastatin on reducing prostate volume.The efficacies of statins might be through lowering cholesterol level and antiinflammatory effect.

Objective To investigate the job burnout status of nurses in a third-grade and A-level general hospital in Zhengzhou,and analyze the relationship between job burnout and presenteeism.Methods 300 nurses were surveyed with questionnaires by convenience sampling,including nurses' demographic data,Nurse Job Burnout Scale and Work Limitations Questionnaire.Results The scores in three dimensions of job burnout of nurses were respectively EE (25.92±11.56) points,DP (10.63±6.82) points,and PA(26.30±9.11) points.The job burnout rate in nurses was 76.2％,the rates of low,moderate,and high degree of burnout were respectively 30.4％,28.7％,and 17.4％.The scores of presenteeism for low,moderate,and high degree of work limitations were respectively (2.29±1.60)points,(5.90±3.03)points,(7.89±3.12)points.Conclusions Nurses' burnout can results in presenteeism.The more serious job burnout is,the more critical the presenteeism is.

To evaluate clinical effect and immunological mechanism of intravene ous immunoglobulin (IVIG) for the treatment of bronchiolitis induced by respirat ory syncytial virus (RSV) in infants, the levels of serum interleukin 6 (IL- 6), interleukin 8 (IL-8) and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF -α) were determined before and after IVIG therapy in 26 cases with IVIG therapy, 30 cases with the conventional therapy and 40 cases as normal controls , respectively. The recovery time of the clinical signs and symptoms and duratio n of hospitalization were also compared between the IVIG group and the conventio nal group. The results showed that the levels of IL-6, IL-8 and TNF-α were significantly higher in two groups before treatment comparin g to normal infants. These cytokines tended to decrease after IVIG therapy altho ugh no significantly difference was observed between the IVIG group and the conv entional group. It was noticed that the recovery time of clinical wheezing and l ung signs were obviously shortened in the IVIG group comparing to the convention a l group (4.0±2.1 Vs. 5.2±1.4days; 5.4±1.5 Vs. 6.5±1.8days, P ＜0.001， P＜0.05). No significantly difference of hospitalization days w as observed between two groups (9±2.2 Vs. 10.3±3.1days, P＞ 0.05). It is concluded that cytokines involves in the pathogenesis of bronchiolitis ind uced by RSV in infants, and IVIG therapy can be helpful for the improvement of t he clinical situation. However, the inhibitory effect on the production of cytok ines seems not to be obvious when single　IVIG　therapy　is given at a dose of 0.25g/kg.
