Objective To investigate the effect of non-restrictive external stent on both cell proliferation of rabbit vein grafts and prevention from hyperplasia of the grafts' neointima. Methods 36 New Zealand white rabbits were randomly divided into two groups, each animal was subjected to a reversed autologous venous graft between external jugular vein and common carotid artery. In stenting group (group S), the vein grafts were surrounded by a 6 mm in diameter non-restrictive stent, and in non-stenting group (group NS), there is no stent to support the vein grafts. The grafts were harvested 1 week (1W), 2 weeks (2W) and 4 weeks (4W) after surgery, respectively. The sections were stained with hematoxylin and eosin stain, ?-smooth muscle actin (?-SMA) and proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) immunocytochemistry stain. PCNA index was calculated in intima, media and adventitia, respectively. Results (1) HE staining: From 1W to 4W, the hyperplasia of intima and media appeared gradually in both group S and group NS, nevertheless such hyperplasia in group S was lessintense than in group NS. (2) ?-SMA staining: Almost all cells in media were positive, but few cells were positive in intima of both groups at 1W; the thickness of intima of both groups increased gradually, and almost all cells except endothelial cells were positive in intima in both groups, though the thickness of intima of group S was smaller than in group NS at 2W and 4W. Objective:To evaluate the anti-corrosion property of Ti-Zr alloy fabricated by laser solid forming technic in artificial saliva.Method:The corrosive behavior of Ti-Zr alloy fabricated by laser solid forming was studied by potentiadynamic polarization technique in artificial saliva at 37 ℃(pH=6.8).Ti-Zr alloy formed by casting was applied as the control.With the polarization curves given by the electrochemical corrosive measure system and the picture of corrosive plane given by SEM, the corrosive property of the Ti-Zr alloy were analyzed.Results:Ti-Zr alloy fabricated by laser solid forming showed more relatively positive corrosion potential, smaller corrosion current density and lower passive potential, and did not show any evidence of corrosive phenomena.Conclusion:Ti-Zr alloy fabricated by laser solid forming has good corrosive resistance in oral circumstances.

Objective To detect circulating autoantibodies to melanocytes in patients with vitiligo and its relationship to disease activity and subtypes. Methods IgG autoantibodies to melanocyte surface antigens were measured in sera from 334 patients with vitiligo and 50 normal individuals using a live cell enzyme linked immunoabsorbent assay. Results Anti melanocyte IgG antibody was present in 67％ of patients(165/250) with active non segmental vitiligo, 30.3％ of patients(10/33) with inactive non segmental vitiligo, 40.54％ of patients(23/51) with active segmental vitiligo and 21.42％ of patients with inactive segmental vitiligo (3/14). The autoantibody levels were significantly higher in patients with active non segmental vitiligo and active segmental vitiligo than those with inactive disease or normal individuals. Conclusion Autoimmune mechanism may play an important role in both non segmental and segmental vitiligo.

Objective To investigate the curative effects of laparocopic treatment for cystiduodenal internal fistula. Methods All procedures were conducted under laparoscope. After the exposure of the cholecystic base, trans-cholecystic cholangiography was performed to detect the relations between the cholecyst and neighboring organs. Once the internal fistula was confirmed, the orifice of fistula was closed laparoscopically. Then abdominal drainage, gastrointestinal decompression, and administration of somatostatin were routinely employed. Results In a series of 327 cases of laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC) with intraoperative cholangiography, a total of 6 cases of cystiduodenal internal fistula were detected, all of which were anatomized and closed successfully under laparoscope. No postoperative hemorrhage or duodenal bile leakage occurred. Conclusions Routine intraoperative cholangiography during LC is beneficial to the detection of the cystiduodenal internal fistula.Effective and reliable management rests upon skillful laparoscopic techniques of dissection and fistula closure, as well as the supportive treatment.

Objective To study the genetic origin of mitochondrial dysfunction in patients with mitochondrial myopathy.Methods The esphagus carcinoma cells were cultured by ethidium bromide, and established stabile,cell line of long term survival mitochondrial DNA(mtDNA).The platelets of patients with mitochondrial myopathy and the normal controls were carried out cell fusion.the mitochondrial function of fusion cell was determined. Results The esphagus carcinoma cells were cultured by ethidium bromide for 12 days, the cells were completely depleted of mtDNA,which can be passed stably. The respiratory capacity of transformants derived from patients with mitochondrial myopathy was lower than those from the control.Conclusion The mtDNA mutation can play a role in the pathogenesis of mitochondrial myopathy.

Objective To explore the value of intraoperative contrast-enhanced ultrasonography in radiofrequency ablation completeness evaluation in patients with hepatic carcinoma of differently sized nodules.Methods Fifty five patients (69 lesions) with hepatic carcinoma were included and were divided into the experimental group (20 cases,30 lesions in whom CEUS were used) and the control group (35 cases,39 lesions,conventional ultrasound was used).After RAF,the treatment effect of the two groups were evaluated by enhanced CT regularly.Differences between conventional ultrasound and CEUS were compared and their judgement on ablation residual tumor tissue was analyzed.Results After 1 to 24 months of follow-up,the total residual rate of the experimental group and the control group was 13.3％ (4/30) and 35.9％ (14/39) respectively.The significant difference was found in the residual rate between the experimental group and the control group (x2 =5.366,P ＜ 0.05).For the two groups (＞ 5 cm and ＜3-5 cm),the residual rate of the experimental group was 30.0％ and 10.0％,the residual rate of the control group was 87.5％ and 46.2％,there were statistically significant difference (respectively x2 =5.951,4.790,all P ＜ 0.05).The significant difference was found in the recurrence rate (the experimental group:20.0％ (4/30),the experimental group:75.0％ (6/8)),when the lesion was larger than 5 cm in diameter(x2 =5.445,P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions CEUS has advantage over conventional ultrasound for the detection of residual tumor tissues after radiofrequency ablation for hepatic carcinoma,it reduces after ablation tumor recurrence especially in large tumors.
