Chinese Traditional Patent Medicine 1992;0(10):-
AIM: To choose the anti myocardial ischemic ingredients from polysaccharide of Ophiopogon Japonicus(PO), then to confirm their effects. METHODS: According to molecular weight, PO was separated to three portions by using ultrafiltration technique. The effects of each separated portion on myocardial ischemia induced by isoproterenol were studied. Then the effects of PO active portions (POAP) on the convulsion of coronary artery induced by pituitrin and acute myocardial ischemia caused by the ligation of coronary artery were further studied in rats. RESULTS: POAP could resist the elevation of Tand S T phase induced by pituitrin in rats, remarkably decrease the elevated S T phase and contents of CK and LDH in serum caused by the ligation of rat coronary artery. POAP also exerted some inhibition effects on the reduction of SOD and increase of MDA caused by myocardial ischemia. CONCLUSION: POAP can protect myocardial cells, inhibit the generation of free radicals, and scavenge the oxygen free radicals generated from myocardial ischemia.

Chinese Journal of Preventive Medicine 2018;52(1):73-78
Objective:
To investigate the effect of exposure to particulate matter ≤10 μm in aerodynamic diameter (PM10) on sperm quality in different stages of sperm development.
Methods:
This cross-sectional study included 1 827 patients attending the reproductive medicine center in Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University during April 2013 to January 2015. Air pollution data from January 2013 to January 2015 was obtained from the database of Wuhan Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau. The generalized linear model was employed to assess the association between each exposure variables and sperm parameters for several exposure windows (0-9, 10-14, 15-69, 70-90, 0-90 days before sampling) .
Results:
The average levels of PM10 was (116.2±71.6) μg/m3 during the research period. Sperm volume was (75.4±49.1) ×106/ml in sample population, (29.4±16.2) % in progressive motility and (51.8±21.6) % in total motility. Exposure to PM10 was inversely associated with sperm concentration (β:-0.319; 95%

Objective:To study the risk factors of complications after bowel resection for acute mesenteric ischemic disease. Methods:Retrospective case-control study was used to analyze the case data of 68 patients diagnosed with acute mesenteric ischemic disease (AMI) with bowel resection at the First Medical Center of the PLA General Hospital from January 2010 to January 2020, including 43 males and 25 females. The patients were divided into complication group ( n=21) and the non-complication group ( n=47) according to whether they had complications after surgery. The risk factors associated with the development of postoperative complications were analyzed by multivariate Logistic stepwise regression method to determine the risk factors with clinical significance. Measurement data with normal distribution were expressed as mean ± standard deviation ( ± s), and t-test was used for comparison between groups. Chi-square test was used for comparison between count data groups. Results:Univariate analysis showed that age >60 years, Marshall score≥2, type of resected bowel, pathology suggestive of irreversible transmural necrosis, length of ICU stay >6 d, length of mechanical ventilation >2 d, American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) classification, and preoperative procalcitonin≥2 ng/mL were the risk factors affecting the development of complications after bowel resection for acute mesenteric ischemic disease risk factors ( P<0.05). Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that age>60 years ( HR=12.364, 95% CI: 1.135-134.662, P=0.039) and preoperative procalcitonin ≥2 ng/mL ( HR=14.144, 95% CI: 1.280-156.303, P=0.031) were independent risk factors for the development of postoperative complications after AMI parallel bowel resection. Conclusion:The rate of complications after combined bowel resection for AMI is high. When patients are combined with age>60 years and preoperative procalcitonin≥2 ng/mL, preoperative prevention of postoperative complications should be emphasized to improve the prognosis of patients.

Objective To investigate the effect of CT total tumor perfusion parameters in the identification of benign and malignant lung lesions. Methods 80 patients with pulmonary space-occupying lesions who were treated in our hospital from December 2015 to May 2017 were enrolled. After pathological histological diagnosis, 52 cases of malignant lesions and 28 cases of benign lesions were confirmed. And they all underwent CT whole tumor perfusion scan and perfusion imaging analysis. And the blood flow, blood volume, average transit time and surface permeability were obtained. Some cases of histopathological specimens were treated by monoclonal CD34 staining method, and the microvascularrich areas in the specimens were selected for blood vessel counting. The morphology of blood vessels was observed and microvessel density was obtained. Results The levels of BF, BV, MTT and PS in benign lesions were significantly lower than those in patients with malignant lesions. The best diagnostic threshold, sensitivity and specificity of BF in lung occupying lesions was> 49.12 mL/100 mL, 80.00% and 52.40%. The best diagnostic threshold, sensitivity and specificity of BV was 6.68 m L/100 mL, 70.00% and 81.00%. The best diagnostic threshold, sensitivity and specificity of MTT was3.82 m L/100 mL, 97.50 % and 52.40%. The best diagnostic threshold, sensitivity and specificity of PS was 7.25 mL/100 mL, 92.50% and 90.50%. The malignant lesion microvessel density count in the malignant lesions was significantly higher than that of benign lesions, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion CT total tumor perfusion parameters have a great auxiliary effect on the diagnosis of benign and malignant lung occupying lesions. Among them, PS and BV have the strongest sensitivity and are worthy of clinical promotion.
