1.The analysis of ventilator system calibration error for the effects of mechanical ventilation
China Medical Equipment 2016;13(6):23-25,26
Objective:To test the ventilator system calibration error, and analyze the effects of mechanical ventilation parameters and the related safety. Methods: Based on the system calibration principle of ventilator, the mechanical ventilation performance of the ventilator with calibration error was tested by the gas analyzer and the correlation of mechanical ventilation parameters and the system calibration error was analyzed. Results:The pressure drop value and a lower compliance can affect the tidal volume, the mean airway pressure and the peep values. Conclusion: The system calibration is important before operating mechanical ventilation. It can make safe, accurate and efficient in mechanical ventilation with controlling the system calibration error in a limited range.

Objective:To analyze the advantages of the pressure-regulated volume control (PRVC) mode compared with the traditional continuous mandatory ventilation (CMV) mode about mechanical ventilation efficiency of ventilator. Methods: For the mechanical ventilation situations, the parameters of PRVC mode, V-CMV mode and P-CMV mode under same detecting conditions were tested by using gas analyzer, which based on the ventilation principle of PRVC mode. And then the differences between PRVC mode and CMV modes were analyzed. Results: PRVC mode can supply the almost same tidal volume, and provide lower pressure and higher compliance compare with the V–CMV mode under the same conditions. On the other hand, PRVC mode can supply more tidal volume and slightly higher compliance compare with the P–CMV mode under the same pressure. Conclusion: PRVC mode has combined with the advantages of CMV mode, and it can make sure the target tidal volume, at the same time, reduce the pressure of airway, and improve the compliance for circuit. It also can make the mechanical ventilation to got more efficiency and more safety.

Objective:To investigate the effect of estrogen on the expression and distribution of IL-1 in the remodeling osteoporotic alveolar bone. Methods:Ovariectomy was performed on 30 female SD rats and sham operation on 15(control group). When osteoporosis was developed in the 30 ovary-removed rats, the left maxillary molars of all the rats were extracted. On the following day 15 of them were treated with intramuscular estrogen injection at 20 ?g/kg once every 3 days(treatment group).Another 15 rats with ovary removed received no treatment(osteoporosis group).7,30 and 60 days after teeth extraction 5 rats were killed respectively in each group.IL-1 expression in alveolar bone was examined immunohistochemically, and semiquantitative analysis of cellular-staining intensity was done by microphotometry. Results:The positive IL-1 expression were mainly located in the osteoclasts, vascular endothelial cells and fibroblasts.7 days after teeth extraction the cellular-staining intensity of IL-1 in control group, osteoporosis group and treatment group was 0.11?0.019,0.36?0.038 and 0.18?0.025 respectively(control or treatment group vs osteoporosis group,P
