Chinese Journal of Gastroenterology 2016;21(8):491-493
Inflammatory bowel disease( IBD),comprising Crohn’s disease( CD)and ulcerative colitis( UC),is a chronic intestinal inflammatory disease and its etiology has not yet been clarified. Studies showed that intestinal microbiota disorder is closely associated with the development and progression of IBD. Currently, fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT)is considered as a special organ transplantation and used in treatment of IBD,Clostridium difficile infection, irritable bowel syndrome, metabolic syndrome, etc. This article reviewed the relationship between FMT and IBD.

Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2017;24(3):412-414
Objective To evaluate the clinical effects of sinus tarsi approach and eight-shape approach in the treatment of calcaneal fractures. Methods Analyzed the outcomes of 23 patients(21 males and 2 females)with calcaneal fractures(25 feet)treated with plate via sinus tarsi approach and eight-shape approach. The mean age of patients was 38 years old(ranged from 24 to 55 years).According to Sanders classification:16 feet in type Ⅱ,9 feet in type Ⅲ.Results The average operation time was 85 min(ranged from 70 min to 100 min),and no wound compli-cations occurred.X-ray review showed that bony healing, and healing time was 3-6 months. The average duration of follow-up was 13 months(ranged from 12 to 18 months). The result was excellent in sixthteen cases, good in six cases and fair in one case according to Maryland score. The satisfactory rate was 95 .6%.Conclusion Open reduction and internal fixation via the sinus tarsi approach and eight -shape approach provides not only reliable fixation, but also less complications.

Objective: To study the inhibition effect on Sarcoma 180 (S 180 ) and immune enhancing effect of rapeseed peptides (RSP) from enzymolysis of rapeseed protein. Methods: S 180 -bearing mice were used as animal model. The changes of tumor weight, lymphocyte proliferation, antibody in splenic cells and hemolysin were investigated. Results: Compared with cyclophosphamide (Cy), RSP inhibited S 180 growth markedly and enhanced immune function .Conclusion: RSP has potential in enhancing immune function and inhibiting tumor growth, but it deserves for further study.

Objective To apply chaos characteristics to prediction of the unilateral mastication. Methods The paper calculated the Largest Lyapunov Exponent of the masseter muscle of some males and females with a method from small data sets, which then was processed by reusable two-factor analysis of variance. Results The results shows that the signal of the masseter muscle has chaos characteristics, the male's Largest Lyapunov Exponent is higher that the female's,and the chaos degree of the masseter muscle on both sides is consistent nearly. Conclusion The Largest Lyapunov Exponent can be used to characterize the signal of the masseter muscle.Comparative Analysis of the Largest Lyapunov Exponent on both sides can be used as reference when to predict and diagnose the unilateral mastication.

Objective To study the effects of artesunate(ART)on estrogen receptor negative breast cancer cell line MDA-MB-231 and its mechanisms. Methods Treated with ART for 3 days,MDA-MB-231 cells proliferation was examined by MTT assay. The morphological and uhrastructural changes of MDA-MB-231 cells were observed under microscope and electronic microscope.Immunocytochemistry was used to detect the expression of Bax,mn23,Bcl-2,and P21 WAFl/CIPl.Results ART treatment led to a dose dependent inhibition of MDA-MB-231 cells.ART could change the morphology and ultrastructure of MDA-MB-231 cens. After treatment with ART(2μmol/L)for 72 hours, immunocytochemical staining showed that the expression of Bax,nm23,and P21WAF1/CIP1 was upregulated in comparison to the control group(P<0.05)while the expression of Bcl-2 in MDA-MB-231 cells didn't have a significant change(P>0.05).Conclusions ART shows an anti-proliferative effect on MDA-MB-231 cells. The mechanisms may be related to upregnlation of Bax,nm23 and P21WAF1/CIP1 expression.

Objective To detect serum CA125 and VEGF in patients of non-Hodgkin lymophoma (NHL) involved in bone marrow and analyse prognostic criteria for NHL. Methods The clinical data of 97 patient were chosen as research objects. They were all first-visit patients. Bone marrow infiltrated with lymphoma cell leukemia of 50 patients were identified by bone marrow aspiration or bone marrow biopsy 46 cases of normal bone marrow were used as controls. The serum CA125 and VEGF were detected by ELISA before treatment. Results Among 97 cases of non-Hodgkin disease, there were 50 cases of bone marrow infiltrated lymphoma cells with a incidence rate of 51.5 %. CA125 and VEGF level in the patients whose bone marrow or lymphoma cell leukemia existed NHL cells was much higher than that of NHL with negative bone marrow infutration (P <0.05). Conclusion CA125 and VEGF can be concluded clinical markers which decide bone marrow or lymphoma cell leukem of the NHL patients whether existed NHL cells or not.

OBJECTIVE To analyze the effect of advanced glycation end products(AGEs) on apoptosis of cultured mouse spiral ganglion cells(SGCs) and expression of receptor of AGEs(RAGE). To explore the pathway of AGEs in promoting apoptosis of SGCs. And to explore the possible mechanism of neural presbycusis. METHODS The effect of AGEs on apoptosis of SGCs was studied by Tunel technique and fluorescence microscope. The expression of RAGE mRNA was assayed by Real time RT-PCR. RESULTS AGEs induced apoptosis of cultured SGCs. The effects were dose-dependent and time-dependent. Meanwhile RAGE mRNA expression was enhanced in apoptosis cells. CONCLUSION AGEs induced apoptosis in SGCs,which may be mediated by RAGE. And this may be one of the mechanisms of neural presbycusis.
