In this paper, water content, mineral element and active ingredient concentration on fifteen Inonotus obliquus which comes from all over the world were studied. In the aspect of water content, the free water content of Finnish birch was the highest, reaching 77.21%, significantly better than that of other strains. The free water content of JL04 is the lowest, only 54.6%. The bound water content of HLJ01 which from Heilongjiang is the highest, reaching 10. 74% , significant differences among other strains. The bound water content of Birch Russia was the lowest. In the aspect of mineral element, the calcium content of NBRC9788 was the high- est (3.49 mg · g(-1)), significantly better than other strains. The second was Finnish birch. The lowest was CX02. The phosphorus content of NBRC9788 was the highest (210.12 μg · g(-1)), significantly superior to other strains. The lowest was JL04. In the aspect of active ingredient concentration, the triterpenoids content of HLJ01 was highest (23.7 mg · g(-1)), significantly better than other strains. It was good strains for biological products research and development and then was Finnish birch. The betulin content of MAFF420165 and MAFF420308 was low, they were not suitable for production. The polysaccharide content of Finnish birch was the highest (9.7%), significantly better than the other strains, it is one of the most ideal and good strains to develop polysaccharide. The polysaccharide content from MAFF420308 and MAFF420256 was 1.2%, lower than other strains. We suggest that avoid using these strains in the study of polysaccharide product development.

Objective:To evaluate the value of Cook MOB-15 system in guiding wire insertion during endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). Methods: The clinical data of 51 patients who received Cook MOB-15 system-guided wire insertion during ERCP between Jan. 2005 to Dec. 2007 were retrospectively analyzed. Forty patients who received conventional ERCP catheter for malignant jaundice between Jan. 2002 and Dec. 2004 were taken as control. The successful insertion rates were compared between the 2 groups. Objective　To investigate the significance of TGF-β1, TGFRl and TGFR2 in the pathogenesis and prognosis in patients with myelofibrosis. Methods　The expression of TGF-β1 and its receptors (TGFR1 and TGFR2 ) in bone marrow tissues and the level of TGF-β1 in the blood of 23 patients with myelofibrosis were detected by SABC immunocytochemistry and ELISA repectively. Results　Expression of TGF-β1 and TGFR 1 was significantly higher in primary and secondary myelofibrosis patients than that of the control. No significant difference of TGFR2 expression was found between the groups of myelofibrosis and the control (P>0.05). The level of TGF-β1 in the blood of the patients with myelofibrosis was significantly higher than that of the control (P<0.01) and more obvious in secondary cases while TGF-β1 decreased nearly to the normal level when patients were in clinical remission. Conclusion　TGF-β1 and it's receptors may be involved in the pathogenesis of myelofibrosis and might be of importance for the prognosis of the patients with myelofibrosis.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the effect of Shenqi Fuzheng Injection (SFI) for hemopoietic and immune function reconstruction in patients with hematologic malignancies (HM) after chemotherapy.

METHODSEighty HM patients at remission inducing stage of initial treatment were randomly assigned to two groups, the treatment group treated with SFI (250 mL daily) plus chemotherapy and the control group only treated with chemotherapy for 14 days, with same supportive treatments administered to both. Levels of blood routine test, T lymphocyte subsets (CD3+, CD4+, CD4+ /CD8+) and B lymphocyte subsets CD3- CD19+ were determined before and after treatment, and the remission rate was assessed after treatment.

RESULTSThe remission rates in the two groups showed no significant difference [90% (36/40) vs 82.5% (33/40), P > 0.05] statistically. Levels of peripheral leucocyte count and hemoglobin as well as levels of CD3+, CD4+, CD4+ /CD8+; were significantly higher in the treatment group than in the control group (P < 0.05), but no significant difference was shown between groups in CD3- CD19+ level.

CONCLUSIONSFI can lighten the inhibition of chemotherapy on hemopoietic function of bone marrow, and promote its recovery, enhance the immune function, and improve the quality of life in patients with HM undergoing chemotherapy.

OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for the determination of 7 residual solvents(ethanol,n-hexane,benzene,tolu-ene,xylene,styrene,divinylbenzene)in Liuwei dihuang glycoside. METHODS:The column was DB-624 capillary column,carri-er gas was nitrogen,flow rate was 5.0 ml/min;detector was a hydrogen flame ionization detector with temperature of 250 ℃(pro-grammed temperature);equilibrium temperature was 80 ℃,sample loop temperature was 90 ℃,and transfer line temperature was 100 ℃;the equilibrium time of vial heating was 30 min,sample loop filling time was 0.05 min,injection time was 1.0 min;the carrier gas pressure was 95 kpa,and the vial pressure was 60 kpa. RESULTS:The linear range was 25-500 μg/ml for ethanol(r=0.998 7),0.025-10μg/ml for n-hexane(r=0.998 8),0.025-10μg/ml for benzene(r=0.999 9),0.1-40μg/ml for toluene(r=1.000 0),0.25-100 μg/ml for xylene(r=0.999 9),0.5-500 μg/ml for styrene(r=1.000 0) and 0.5-500 μg/ml for divinylbenzene (r=1.000 0);RSDs of precision,stability and reproducibility tests were lower than 4%;recoveries were 99.60%-102.70%(RSD=1.08%,n=9),90.70%-100.30%(RSD=4.51%,n=9),100.10%-109.80%(RSD=3.82%,n=9),99.50%-110.00%(RSD=4.40%,n=9),100.00%-109.10%(RSD=3.50%,n=9),93.40%-102.30%(RSD=3.73%,n=9) and 99.70%-101.70%(RSD=0.79%,n=9),respectively;the low limits of detection were 1.000,0.025,0.025,0.025,0.100,0.025,0.250 μg/ml respectively. Objective To investigate the effect of edaravone pretreatment on myocardial injury induced by carbon dioxide pneumoperitoneum in patients undergoing laparoscopic gynecologic surgery.Methods Thirty patients undergoing laparoscopic gynecologic surgery,ASA Ⅰ or Ⅱ grade,were divided into two groups by random digits table with 15 cases each:control group and edaravone group.Edaravone group following tracheal intubation received vein infusion of edaravone 0.5 mg/kg,control group received equal volume of 0.9％ sodium chloride.The carbon dioxide pneumoperitoneum pressure was maintained at 10-15 mm Hg (1 mm Hg =0.133 kPa).Venous blood samples were collected before anesthesia induction and after operation 8 h for the measurement of the serum creatine kinase (CK),creatine kinase-MB (CK-MB),aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH).Results The serum levels of CK and AST were significantly higher after operation 8 h in control group than those of before anesthesia induction in control group and after operation 8 h in edaravone group [(205 ± 27) U/L vs.(123 ± 25) and (123 ± 29)U/L,(48±5) U/L vs.(34 ±3) and (36 ±5) U/L,P＜0.05].There was no significant difference in the serum levels of CK-MB and LDH between two groups and the group (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusion Pretreatment with edaravone 0.5 mg/kg can protect myocardium in patients undergoing laparoscopic gynecologic surgery.
