Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of focused ultrasound(FU)on chronic cervicitis unitarily and its influential factors.Methods Three hundred and thirteen patients of chronic cervicitis were treated with the device of CZF model focused ultrasound.The therapeutic effects in 300 cases with complete records,as well as the relationship between the diameter of cervical erosion and the exposure time to FU were analyzed.Results The effective rates of FU in treatment of chronic cervicitis unitarily were 100.0%(53/53),95.2%(120/126)and 91.7%(111/121),respectively,for mild,moderate and severe cases.The overall effective rate was 94.7%(284/300).With other parameters of FU unchanged,the exposure time to FU showed an exponential relationship with the diameter of erosion,and the regression equation was D=31.71e~(0.4808t)(R~2=0.9966).Conclusions The controllability and achievement ratio of FU to treat cervical erosion could be enhanced when exposure time and manners were fully considered based on the diameter and type of cervical erosion.A satisfactory therapeutic efficacy could be achieved with FU to treat cervical erosion unitarily.

Objective To explore the change of serum level of neuron specific enolase (NSE) in neonates with asphyxia before and after head mild hypothermia.Methods Eighty-two asphyxial neonates were selected,including 39 mild asphyxial neonates and 43 severe asphy-xial neonates,and 29 healthy neonates were selected as control group.Forty-three severe asphyxial neonates were randomly assigned into mild hypothermia treatment group and traditional treatment group.Neonates in traditional treatment group were just given traditional treatment.While neonates in mild hypothermia treatment group received head mild hypothermia therapy and their nasopharyngeal temperature were maintained at(34.0 ? 0.5) ℃ for 72 h.Before treatment and 72 h after treatment,2 mL blood was collected,and the serum NSE was determined by radio immunoassay.Results NSE levels in mild asphyxial neonates group[(34.83?6.17) ?g/L] and severe asphyxial group[(59.58?8.87) ?g/L] were significantly higher than that of control group[(30.57?4.88) ?g/L](t=3.07 P0.05).The level of NSE at 72 h in severe asphyxial neonates with head mild hypothermia therapy[(40.97?6.55) ?g/L] was significantly lower than that of traditional treatment group [(48.15?5.57) ?g/L](t=3.86 P

Objective: To investigate the changing trends in injury mortality among permanent residents in Jingzhou City, Hubei Province from 2017 to 2022, so as to provide the basis for formulating injury intervention measures. Methods: Injury death data of permanent residents in Jingzhou City from 2017 to 2022 were collected through the Population Death Information Registration and Management System of Chinese Disease Prevention and Control Information System. The crude mortality of injury was analyzed and the standardized mortality was calculated using the data from the Sixth National Population Census in 2010. The changing trend in injury mortality was analyzed using the annual percent change (APC). Results: There were 29 220 injury deaths among permanent residents in Jingzhou City from 2017 to 2022, with a crude mortality rate of 88.61/105. The crude mortality rate of injury was higher in males than in females (101.04/105 vs. 75.97/105, P<0.05). The crude mortality rates of injury in males, females and the whole population all showed upward trends (APC=6.572%, 9.232% and 7.731%, all P<0.05). Males, females and the whole population at the ages of 65 years and above appeared upward trends in crude mortality rates of injury (APC=4.603%, 5.064% and 4.851%, all P<0.05). No significant trends were observed in the crude mortality rate in the residents aged <15 years and 15 to <65 years (both P>0.05). The top five causes of injury death were suicide (25.81/105), falls (24.38/105), motor vehicle traffic accident (17.23/105), drowning (8.61/105), and other unintentional accidents and harmful effects (5.63/105). From 2021 to 2022, falls rose to the first cause of injury mortality. Conclusions The crude mortality of injury among permanent residents in Jingzhou City from 2017 to 2022 showed an upward trend. Males and residents aged 65 years and above should be prioritized for intervention measures. Notably, falls have become the top cause of injury from 2021 to 2022.

In the biomedical field, innovative genome sequencing technology enables low-cost, high-throughput, and high-speed to become a reality, which leads to an explosive growth in data and also appeared in an urgent need to process those massive biological information. High performance computing (HPC) along with effective methods is one of the best ways to deal with the problem of big data in biomedical field which could serve the biomedical development best. We discussed the issues faced in biomedical big data processing and concluded that the bioinformatics is an indispensable component of biomedical technologies.

Objective To study the clinicopathologic features and differential diagnosis of deep angiomyxoma(DAM). Methods Seven cases of DAM were collected from 2000 to 2008. All the patients were examined by microscopy and immunohistochemistry. Results 6 patients with DAM were females and 1 was male, with median age of 48.5 years. Median maximum dimension was 5.9cm, with invasive growth pattern. The tumor cells of DAM were infantile, spindle or stellate,diffuse and nodular arrangement. A distinctive histologic feature of DAM was its vascularity. Non-arborizing, thin-wall, ectastic capillaries or more commonly, small thick-wall vessels were dispersed throughout the tumor. Mast cells and extravasated red blood cells were frequently found in the stroma, immunohistochemical study showed that 7 cases were positive for vimentin, desmin, ER and PR, 5 for CD34 and SMA, and negative for S-100 and CK. Conclusion DAM is a rare soft tumor that occurs principally in the vulval and vagina region of woman. Misdiagnosis has happened frequently. Immunohistochemical staining are helpful to diagnosis for DAM, but no significance to distinguish it.

We examined the effects of intracerebroventricular ( i. c. v) administration of adrenomedullin (ADM) on catecholaminergic neurons and the expression of c-fos gene in rat brain nuclei involved in cardiovascular regulation using double immunohistochemical method for Fos and tyrosine hydroxylase (TH). The results showed that: ( 1 ) Following icy administration of ADM (3 nmol/kg) , double-labeled neurons for Fos and TH were significantly increased in the area postrema ( AP), the nucleus of the solitary tract ( NTS), the nucleus paragigantocelluaris laterialis (PGL) and the locus coeruleus (LC). (2) Pretreatment with calcitonin gene-related peptide receptor antagonis CGRP8-37 (30 nmol/kg) significantly reduced the action of ADM (3 nmol/kg) in the brain. The present study suggested that ADM might activate the neurons of the brain nuclei involved in cardiovascular regulation, and supported the hypothesis that the central action of ADM were induced by activating the catecholaminergic neurons of brainstem nuclei involved in cardiovascular regulation, CGRP receptor might mediate the effects of ADM.

Objective: To investigate the hydrolysis conversion rate of alcohol amine-diterpene alkaloids from aconitum alkaloids, hydrolyze aconitum alkaloids reference substance, calculate the amount of alcohol amine-diterpene alkaloids in the hydrolysis solution by the hydrolysis conversion rate, which is used as the amount of alcohol amine-diterpene alkaloids reference substance, and establish a content determination method for aconine, hypaconitine and aconine in Aconiti radix cocta.Methods: Through controlling the hydrolysis conditions of aconitine, hypaconitine and mesaconitine, aconine, hypaconitine and aconine were obtained.The determination was performed on an Agilent ZORBAX Extend-C18 RRHT(2.1 mm×50 mm,1.8 μm) column with the mobile phase consisting of methanol(A)-water(B containing 0.1% formic acid and 2.5 mmol·L-1 ammonium acetate) with gradient elution by HPLC-QTOF-MS.The flow rate was 0.21 ml·min-1.The column temperature was 30 ℃.MS instrument was equipped with an ESI+ ion source.Results: Under the hydrolysis conditions of this study, the conversion rate of aconine from aconitine was 99.64%;the conversion rate of hypaconitine from hypaconine was 99.94%;the conversion rate of mesaconitine from mesaconine was 99.57%.The HPLC-QTOF-MS methodological investigation showed the 3 kinds of alcohol amine-diterpene alkaloids were with good linearity (r>0.999 1).The RSD of the precision, repeatability and stability tests were less than 5%.The average recoveries were within the range of 99.43%-100.10%.Conclusion: The validated method is simple, specific, reliable and reproducible.In the absence of reference substance, it can be used for the quality control of the herbs of Aconitum L.species.

Objective:To develop a method of quantitative analysis of multi-components by single marker( QAMS) for nine kinds of alkaloids in Xiaohuoluo pills. Methods: An HPLC-QTOF-MS method with an Agilent ZORBAX Extend-C18 RRHT(2. 1 mm × 50 mm,1. 8 μm) column was applied. The flow rate was 0. 21 ml·min-1 . The column temperature was 30 ℃. The mobile phase was methanol (A)-water (B;containing 0. 1％ formic acid and 2. 5 mmol·L-1 ammonium acetate) with gradient elution. The aconitine was used as the internal standard, and the relative correction factor ( RCFs) of hypaconitine, mesaconitine, benzoylaconine, benzoyl-hypaconine, benzoylmesaconine, aconine, hypaconine and mesaconine was respectively established, and the reproducibility inspection on the RCF was performed. The contents of the other 8 kinds of aconitum alkaloids were calculated according to the RCF. At the same time, an external standard method ( ESM) was performed for the content determination of the nine alkaloids. The results of the two methods were compared. The feasibility and accuracy of the QAMS method were verified. Results:Within a certain range,the RCF of hypacontine,mesacontine, benzoylaconine, benzoylhypaconine, benzoyl mesaconine, aconine, hypaconine and mesaconine to aconitine was 1. 736,1. 979,1. 0471,0. 9242,1. 2901,1. 3078,1. 2859,and 1. 0948,respectively. The QAMS method was established for determi-ning alkaloids. There were no significant differences between the results of the QAMS method and those of the external standard method ( ESM) . Conclusion:With the validation of methodology, the method established in our study can be used for the content determina-tion of aconitine, hypaconitine, mesaconitine, benzoylaconine, benzoylhypaconine, benzoylmesaconine, aconine, hypaconine and mesaconine in xiaohuoluo pills.
