Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1986;0(02):-
To report a boy with reflex seizures induced by micturition. He suffered from seizures during micturition for four yesrs. The clinical symptoms consisted of head backwards, limbs dithering, sometimes accompanying tumble.During the episodes of the seizure, his consciousness did not lose.Few seizures showed only eyes up-staring for several seconds. The livelong process of micturition was often interrupted by seizures for several times. When he finished or stoped micturition, the seizures did not occur again. His seizures could not be induced by free of micturition or other stimulative factors. The interictal EEGs showed that background asymmetry manifested as the lower amplitude and irregular rhythm in the left hemisphere, sharp or sharp and waves in right hemisphere, especially mid and back temporal. There also had sharp, spike, and spike and waves in many regions of double spheres in interictal EEGs.The other assistant check-ups were normal.while this disease was infrenquncy,it would be worthy to regard.

Objective To investigate the expression of FHIT gene in the 60Co gamma-ray irradiated human lymphocytoblast(AHH-1) cell and the bystander effect cell, and to explore the function of FHIT gene in the bystander effect of ionizing radiation.Method Preparation of bystander effect cell model:after irradiated with different dose of 60Co gamma-ray(0,2,5 Gy),the directly irradiated AHH-1 ceils were collected immediately by centfifugation and co-cultivated with non-irradiated cells in Transwell.forming the bystander effect group P1.In addition, some culture media supernatant of direcfly irradiated cells were transfefred to the non- irradiated cells culture medium, forming the group P2.Then cells were collected at 0,6,12,and 24 h after irradiation and the total RNA and protein were extracted.RT-PcR and Western blot were performed to determine the FHIT mRNA and protein level.respectively.Flow cytometry assay and cell counting were conducted to detect the alteration of cell cycle and cell proliferation, respectively at 0,24 h after irradiation. Results The mRNA level of FHIT gene among control cells, directly irradiated cells and bystander cells showed no obvious difference. while the FHIT protein level of the directly irradiated ceils and bystander cells was siguificandy down-regulated compared with the control cells(F=102.45,P<0.001).Moreover,the directly irradiated cells and bystander cells showed significant G2 phase arrest and obviously inhibited the proliferation ability. Conclusions 2 and 5 Gy of 60Co γ-ray irradiated AHH-1 cells can result in down regulation of the FHIT protein expression, which suggests that FHIT gene is involved in the process of bvstander effect induced by irradiation.

Objective To obtain antibiotic-resistant mutants producing metabolites with antitumor activity from wild-type actinomycete strains without antitumor activity. Methods An actinomycete strain L35-1 was used as an initial strain for obtaining antibiotic-resistant mutants, which is a marine-derived wild-type strain without antitumor activity with an inhibition rate of 2.8% at the 1000 μg/ml of high sample concentration on K562 cells. The antibiotic-resistant mutants both from auto-mutagenesis and chemical mutagen-induced mutagenesis were selected by single colony isolation on antibiotic-containing plates according to the method for obtaining drug-resistant mutants in ribosome engineering. The antitumor activity was assayed by the MTT method using K562 cells for the mutants with aqueous acetone extracts of the whole broth of their fermentation. Results A total of 114 neomycin-resistant (ner) and 68 streptomycin-resistant (str) mutants, all from auto-mutagenesis, was obtained on drug-containing plates. Among them, the 7 ner and 3 str mutants appeared to be bioactive with an inhibition rate above 20% at the 100 μg/ml sample concentration on K562 cells. On the other hand, 41 str and 32 ner mutants from DES-induced mutagenesis and 46 ner mutants from NTG-induced mutagenesis were obtained by mutagen-induced mutation coupled with the single colony isolation on antibiotic-containing plates, among which, one str mutant from DES-induced mutagenesis and one ner mutant from NTG-induced mutagenesis were bioactive with an inhibition rate over 20% at the 100 μg/ml sample concentration on K562 cells. Conclusions The present result has revealed that the wild-type actinomycete strains without bioactivity might become a great source initial strains to obtain bioactive mutants by drug-resistant mutation technique.

Objective To observe the recurrent febrile seizures(FS)influence on adrenocorticotropic hormone(ATCH)and glucose-regulated proein 78(Grp78)and explore the association between recurrent FS and endoplasmic reticulum stress in the brain of developing rats. Methods Forty specefic pathogen free(SPF)Sprague-Dawley rats aged 21 days were randomly divided into control group(immersed in 37.0 ℃ water,n=12)and hyperthermia treated group(immersed in 44.8 ℃ water,n=28),which was subdivided into hyperthermia group(n=12)and recurrent FS group(n=16)according to whether seizures occurred or not.Seizures were induced 10 times in a bath of warm water, once every 2 days. The plasma content of ACTH was detected by radioimmunoassay. The protein level of Grp78 was examined by immunohistochemistry staining and Western blot. Results After recurrent FS,the plasma content of ACTH increased significantly in FS group compared with control group(Pa

The clinical data of 9 patients with huge adrenal tumors (≥6 cm) undergoing retroperitoneal laparoscopic adrenalectomy between February 2015 and September 2016 were retrospectively analyzed. There were 2 males and 7 females aged 29-65 years. The tumors were detected due to investigation of paroxysmal hypertension in 4 cases, and during the health check-up in 5 cases. The lesions were located on the right side in 4 cases, on the left side in 4 cases and bilaterally in 1 case. The operations were all successful, there was no case transferring to open surgery. The average operation time was 70 min (50-100 min),mean bleeding volum was 100 ml(50-200 ml).The postoperative diagnosis: 4 cases of pheochromocytoma, 2 cases of cortical adenoma, 2 cases of neurilemmoma and 1 case of neuroinoma. The average follow-up time was 13.5 months (6-24 months) and no recurrence was found.

The efficient and safe delivery of drugs to the therapeutic site through the biofilm has traditionally been a difficult and hot topic in the field of drug delivery. In recent years, alkyl polyglycoside (APG) have become ideal penetration enhancers for drug delivery systems because of their high permeability, good safety and biodegradability, which has attracted wide attention of domestic and foreign researchers. In this paper, the physical and chemical properties, characteristics, action mechanism and application of APG in drug delivery system are reviewed, and its application prospect in drug delivery system is prospected.
