To explore the role of Fas,FasL in pathogenesis of prostatic cancer (Pca), expression of Fas and FasL in 49 cases of Pca, 22 cases of BPH and 14 cases of normal prostate(NP) was detected by immunohistochemical SP method. The results were as follows: ①Fas, FasL were expressed in all the examined tissues; ②The expression of Fas was strongest in BPH specimens and weekest in Pca tissues ( P 0 05);④The expression of Fas in 17 cases of androgen dependent Pca tissues was more marked than that in 9 cases of androgen independent Pca tissues( P

Objective To investigate the characteristics of the preoperative and postoperative urodynamical parameters of women with uterine cervical carcinoma after radical hysterectomies. Methods Forty-six women had uterine cervical carcinoma at stage Ⅰ b or Ⅱ a.Complete pre-and postoperative urodynamie follow-ups were conducted for each patient. Results Twenty-six women(57%)who had preoperatively normal urinary tract function needed to void by abdominal straining after radical surgery. After the radical hysterectomy, the postvoid residual volume[(205?201)vs(5?3)ml,P

Microbiology 1992;0(02):-
The resting cells of Citrobacter freundii 48003 3 expressing high tyrosine phenol lyase activity under the inducing of L tyrosine were used for L DOPA synthesis from catechol, pyruvate and ammonia In this paper, the effects of temperature, pH and substrate concentrations on the synthesis of L DOPA were studied At the optimal conditions of reaction, 9 5g/L of L DOPA was obtained in 12h

Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value and limits of 64-slice spiral coronary artery imaging,by com- parison with selective coronary angiography,in detection of coronary heart disease. Methods Fourty-two patients sus- pected CAD were performed 64-slice spiral CT coronary imaging and selective coronary artery angiography in two weeks, comparative analysis of results were progressed consequently. Results The sensitivity, specificity and positive and nega- tive predictive value to identify≥50% stenosis branches was 90.5%,96.6%,85.9% and 97.8%,respectively.The sen- sitivity, specificity and positive and negative predictive value to identify≥75% stenosis branches was 93.5%,98.9%, 87.9% and99.4%,respectively.Conclusion As a noinvasive quantitative assessment of coronary artery stenoses exami- nation,64-slice spiral CT is a valuable method to detect and diagnose the disease of coronary artery, but its clinical use maybe presently be limited due to image quality in a number of cases.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1994;0(04):-
Objective To explore the diagnostic value of Gap-ligase chain reaction(LCR)-enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)for Chlamydia trachomatis(CT) pneumonia in infants(28 days-3 months old baby was 16.9%(27/160 cases),and the incidence in 3-6 months old baby was 8.1%(12/149 cases). The clinical symptoms included that 25 cases(51.0%) had fever,48 cases(98.0%) with paroxysmal cough,45 cases(91.8%) with rhinocleisis,45 cases(91.8%) with spitting foam,49 cases(100%) with tachypnea,28 cases(57.1%) with lips cyanosis,26 cases(53.1%) with medium and moist rales,24 cases(49.0%) with dry rales,18 cases(36.7%) with phlegm whimper,29 cases(59.2%) with rough breath sounds in both lungs and there were 13 cases(26.5%) with conjunctivitis.Chest film and paper capacitor showed that bilateral extensive interstitial and(or) alveolar infiltration,over-inflation 23 cases(46.9%) had no lobal consolidation or pleural effusion. The WBC counts were normal or slightly high. All children were treated with cephalothin or penicillin before confirmation with CT infection.Eleven cases were treated with azithromycin after diagnosis with CT pneumonia and were cured 9 days after treatment and the others were not treated with azithromycin so their course prolonged from 15 to 44 days, among them there were 11 out-patients who were treated many times because of repeated cough. Conclusions CT is important pathogenic organism to cause pneumonia in neonatal and small infants. It is important to pay attention to the possibility of pneumonia caused by CT and make the diagnosis in early period as soon as possible and treat them with sensitive drug to shorten the course.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the influence of seasons, blood types and semen parameters on the cryosurvival rate of frozen-thawed spermatozoa from sperm donors.
METHODSWe retrospectively analyzed the influence of seasons, blood types, abstinence period, semen volume, sperm morphology, and pre-freeze sperm motility and concentration on the cryosurvival rate of frozen-thawed sperm in 4 088 semen samples from Shaanxi Human Sperm Bank.
RESULTSThe cryosurvival rate of the post-thaw sperm was correlated negatively with the progressive motility of the pre-freeze sperm (r = -0.262, P < 0.01), but positively with pre-freeze sperm concentration (r = 0.247, P < 0.01), and it was significantly higher in the 6-day abstinence group ([70.2 +/- 5.4]%) than in the other abstinence groups (P < 0.01), so was it in the normal sperm morphology rate > 20% group ([71.4 +/- 5.1]%) than in the others (P < 0.01). The survival rate of the post-thaw sperm was not correlated with seasons, blood types, and semen volume (P > 0.05).
CONCLUSIONSperm motility, concentration and morphology and the abstinence period of sperm donors may be valuable predictors of the cryosurvival rate of post-thaw sperm, but no correlation was found between the survival rate and seasons, blood types and semen volume.

Objective To understand the ethics conflict situations between the pre-hospital patients and ambulance staff's determinations. Methods Taking a survey among the pre-hospital emergency physicians(80 people)and nurses(248 people)by Questionnaire of ethics conflicts during pre-hospital emergeney service,to investigate the ethics conflict situations between the pre-hospital patients and ambulance staff's determinations. Resulls (8.046±6.990)%of the patients who needed treatments refused to be treated completely,and(14.544±10.558)%of them refused partially.(14.451±14.747)% of the patients who needed ambulance transport refused to be delivered. In the patients who refused treatments and transportation.payment problem accounted for(23.52±19.79)%,(22.22±20.84)%of them did not believe they needed.(5.77±4.47)%of them wished to die,(19.44.4±18.65)%of them were hard to be idenfified.Other reasons accounted for(30.08±25.78)%.(20.31.4±16.66)% of the patients refused the ambulance crews' judge for some state.(29.66.4±24.02)%of the patients who got the pre-hospital emergency service were not necessary to call an ambulance.(22.1 l±19.52)%of the patients' demand conflicted with pre-hospital emergency services network management system. Conclusions There exists some conflicts between the pre-hospital patients and ambulance crews' determinations.
