·Diabetic Retinopathy ( DR ) has gradually worsening and lingering, which is the leading cause of global young people blindness. With the progression of the disease, patients with diabetes mellitus ( DM) will have different degrees of DR. If you can not prevent and give acute early intervention, once the visual acuity decreased significantly, DR would be difficult to reverse. DR progressively has worsening, the treatment status has no optimistic. Therefore, DR in the early prevention and treatment will be indispensable. This article summarizes some of the early warning of the occurrence and development of biological markers and characteristic indicators in order to provide a basis for the early prevention of DR.

Objective To investigate the experience of surgical treatment of primary extraperitoneal pelvic neoplasms,in order to improve tumor resection rate and safety. Methods The clinical data of 29 cases of primary extraperitoneal pelvic neoplasms were retrospectively analyzed from 1995 to 2013.To evaluate tumor resection preoperatively by CT,MRI and three dimensional reconstruction (3 d) medical technology,5 cases of preoperative interventional vascular embolization, intraoperative 2 cases in the iliac artery ligation,2 cases of intraoperative temporary blocking abdominal aorta.Intraoperative combined a variety of surgical approach to remove the tumor. Results Twenty-nine cases of patients,11 underwent tumor resection,5 underwent tumor resection and rectum resection plus sigmoid colostomy, the structure of 4 underwent tumor resection and repair damaged + sigmoid colon rectum temporary colostomy,3 underwent tumor resection and bladder partial nephrectomy,4 underwent tumor resection and uterine ovarian resection,2 underwent tumor resection + tail sacral tumor resection.25 patients recover well after the surgery, complications of 4 cases:intestinal obstruction in 2 cases respectively, pelvic abscess in 1 case, lower limb venous thrombosis in 1 case, cured by conservative and interventional therapy. No operative mortality and incidence of complications was 13.8% (4/29).Conclusion Pelvic tumor preoperative imaging evaluation, combined incision and multi-visceral resection, fractional resection and recurrence after resection is the effective examination and treatment.

At present, majority of the small molecular drugs used in clinics target proteins, they exert the efficacy through the binding to specific sites on the target protein. However, the "druggable" protein targets account for a small portion of the total number of proteins, and "non-druggable" proteins account for 80%, because of not having suitable drug binding sites. In the central rule, RNA is located in the upstream of proteins and controls the transcription of proteins. The research of small molecule drugs targeting RNA can solve the problem of protein "undruggable proteins" in some extent. This review summarizes the representative research achievements of small molecular drugs targeting RNA in recent years, and the screening methods applied to this field, with the focuses on the latest progress of small molecular drugs targeting novel coronavirus RNA.

Background and purpose:miR-196a2 functions as an oncogene during tumor initiation and pro-gression. The up-regulation promotes tumor cell proliferation, invasion and metastasis. Therefore, it is promising to be an important tumor biomarker. The aim of this study was to investigate whether rs11614913, a gene polymorphic site ofmiR-196a2, is associated with the risk of leukemia. Methods:A case-control analysis was employed. Bone marrow or periph-eral blood was collected from 210 leukemia patients diagnosed from Jan. 2009 to Jul. 2015 in Yantaishan Hospital (case group) as well as 250 healthy people who were physically examined during the same period (control group). Polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-PFLP) was used to detect the genotype of rs11614913. Application test was used to compare the difference in the frequency of each genotype between case group and control group. The odds ratio (OR) of SNP allelic genes was calculated using logistic regression analysis and 95%CI represented the risk of leukemia for each genotype. Results:The distribution differences in the frequency of T/T, C/C, C/T genotype of miR-196a2 rs11614913 between case group and control group were statistically significant (P<0.05). The risk of leukemia for individuals who carried mutant homozygous C/C was 2.661-fold higher than those carried wild-type homozygous T/T, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion:ThemiR-196a2 gene polymorphic site rs11614913 was associated with the risk of leukemia. Mutant homozygous C/C or C allelic gene carrying was probably a risk factor for leukemia.

AIM:To investigate the effect of ovarian carcinoma cells on ? chain expression and the secretion of Tc1/Tc2 type cytokine in CD8+ T cells, and its role in the ovarian carcinoma induced immunosuppression.METHODS:The supernatants of human ovarian carcinoma cell lines of OVCAR3,CAOV3 and SKOV3 and RPMI-1640 were added into CD8+ T cells(groups I,II,III,and control),which were isolated from the peripheral venous blood of healthy persons. The expression of ? chain was analyzed by Western blotting.Thiazolyl blue(MTT)method was used to detect the effects of those cell line supernatants on the growth of CD8+ T cells. The secretion of the Tc1 type cytokine interferon(IFN)-? mRNA and the Tc2 type cytokine interferon(IL)-10 mRNA were detected by RT-PCR.RESULTS:The expression of ? chain was significantly lower in groups I,II,and III in comparison with that in control group. The absorbance at the wavelength 570 nm of CD8+ T cells culture in the group I,II,and III was all significantly lower than that in the control group. The IFN-? expression was significantly lower in groups I,II,and III in comparison with that in control group, while the expression of IL-10 was significantly higher.CONCLUSION:Ovarian carcinoma may suppress CD8+ T cell proliferation and secretion of the Tc1/Tc2 type cytokine through inhibition of ? chain, which may play an important role in the ovarian carcinoma induced immunosuppression.
