1.Research progress on plant resources distribution of vitexin and its pharmacological effects.

Vitexin, a naturally occurring flavone glycoside in plants, has many pharmacological effects, which is widely distributed in nature. This paper reviewed the research progress of the distribution of vitexin in the plant resources and its pharmacological effects, and summarized its application prospects, aiming to provide a useful reference for the development of vitexin-enriched plant resources.

2.HPLC determination of two phenylpropanoid amides in solani melongenae radix from different cultivation regions.

A quantitative HPLC-DAD method was developed for simultaneous determination of N-trans-p-coumaroyloctopamine and N-trans-p-coumaroyltyramine in Solani Melongenae Radix from different cultivation regions in China The separation was performed on an Agilent Eclipse XDB C18 column (4.6 mm x 250 mm, 5 microm) at 30 degrees C with a gradient elution of methanol and 0.1% formic acid in water as mobile phase. The flow rate was set at 1.0 mL x min(-1) and the detection wavelength was 300 nm. The calibration curves of N-trans-p-coumaroyloctopamine and N-trans-p-coumaroyltyramine were linear over the ranges of 2.84-68.16, 3.10-74.40 mg x L(-1), and the average recoveries (n = 9) were 99.30% and 102.8%, respectively. The developed method was successfully applied for the analysis of sixteen samples from different cultivation regions in China, which indicated that the method is simple, rapid, accurate, and reliable for quality evaluation of Solani Melongenae Radix.

3.Effects of basic fibroblast growth factor on the matrix metalloproteinase-2,7 and its tissue inhibitor on deep partial thickness burn wounds in rats.

OBJECTIVETo observe the changes in matrix metalloproteinase-2,7 (MMP-2,7) and tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase-2 (TIMP-2) in deep partial thickness burn during the process of wound healing, and the effects of bFGF on wound healing.
METHODSThe rats inflicted by 30% TBSA deep partial thickness burn were randomly divided into simple scald and bFGF treatment groups. Biopsies from wound skin were harvested at 3 and 6PBHs and 1, 3, 7, 14 PBDs for the detection of the epithelialization rate and collagen content. The above indices were also detected in the skin of another 6 normal rats as normal control.
RESULTS(1) The epithelialization rate in bFGF treatment group was higher than that in simple scald group during 3PBH to 14 PBD. (2) The collagen contents in both bFGF treatment group and simple scald group were continually decreased during 3 PBH to 3 PBD, and increased from 7 to 14 PBD, but still lower than that in normal control (P < 0.05). (3) The expression of MMP-2,7 and TIMP-2 in simple scald group enhanced from 1 to 14 PBD, and peaked on 7 PBD. (4) The expression of MMP-2,7 in bFGF treatment group was similar to that in simple scald group from 3 to 6 PBH, while the expressions of MMP-2,7 and TIMP-2 was higher than those in simple scald group from 1 to 14 PBD.
CONCLUSIONThe collagen deposition would be affected by the activities of extracellular matrix in scald wound in rats. Changes in MMP-2,7 and TIMP-2 expressions were an important process of wound repair, which was closely related to the acceleration of wound healing by the application of bFGF.

4.Changes of pathogens and susceptibility to antibiotics in hematology ward from years 2001 to 2005.

The purpose of this study was to determine the changes of pathogens in hematological ward and susceptibility of patients received chemotherapy to antibiotics. The pathogens were taken from blood, urine and sputum of patients who accepted chemotherapy from years 2001 to 2005, then were isolated and identified. The susceptibility test was performed by disk diffusion method. The results showed that the total of 418 strains were detected. Gram-negative bacteria were the most common of nosocomial infection. Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Enterobacter cloacae, E. coli account for the most of Gram negative- bacteria infection and most resistant to broad-spectrum penicillin, Acinetobacter baumannii showed a trend of increase. The ratios of gram positive bacteria and fungi were increased slowly, mainly as Enterococcus and Candida. Enterococcus is the most common cause of Gram-positive bacterial infection. Vancomycin resistance did not occur. It is concluded that Gram-negative bacteria are main cause of nosocomial infection in patients with hematological malignancies. Gram positive bacteria and fungi had been more frequent. Strains resistant to antimicrobial agents increase.

5.Evaluation on the therapeutic drug monitoring data of vancomycin and its efficacy and renel toxicity in elder patients

Objective To evaluate the drug plasma concentration , clini-cal efficacy and renal toxicity of vancomycin .Methods The clinical da-ta ( basic disease , bacteriological results , the serum concentrations of vancomycin , clinical efficacy , renal toxicity and initial dose selection ) of 39 elder patients were retrospectively analyzed.Results The effective rate of vancomycin was 82.05%.Vancomycin trough concentration be-tween 10-20 mg · L-1 accounted for 48.12%.Among the 19 patients whose vancomycin trough concentrations were less than 10 mg · L-1 , 6 cases adjusted the dose , 2 cases ( 5.13%) had renal toxicity , but the creatinine returned to basal levels after vancomycin was reduced or stopped.Renal toxicity didn′t appear in 3 cases (7.69%) who had renal insufficiency before using vancomycin.When vancomycin was combined with etimicin and diuretics , renal toxicity didn′t appear.Conclusion The dose of vancomycin should be adjusted in elder pa-tients.We should monitor serum concentration of vancomycin to adjust its legitimately use.
6.The regulation mechanisms of MMP-1,2 and TIMP-1,2 on wound healing after partial thickness scald.

OBJECTIVETo observe the changes of matrix metalloproteinase-1,2/tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase-1,2 (MMP-1,2 and TIMP-1,2) in granulation tissue after 30% TBSA deeper partial thickness scald, and explore the regulation mechanism of MMP-2/TIMP-2 during wound healing.
METHODS150 male Wistar rats were randomly divided into 5 groups as follows: (1) normal control (n = 6); (2) injured control group (n = 36): which is subdivided into postburn 3 h, 6 h, 1 d, 3 d, 7 d and 14 d groups, respectively; (3) BDM group (n = 36): intravenous injected of 400 mg 2,3-butanedione monoxime in each rat was done after anesthesia; (4) H7 group (n = 36): Each rat was intravenous injected of 0.2 mg 1-5-isoquinolinyl-sulfony-2-methylpiperazine after anesthesia; (5) anti-c-fos group (n = 36): Each rat was intravenous injected of 5 microg c-fos monoclony antibody after anesthesia. The immunohistochemistry staining technique and the reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) were used for detecting.
RESULTSThe expression of c-fos mRNA and protein was increased from 3 to 6 hours post-burn, and then decreased. The expression of MMP-1,2/TIMP-1,2 was delayed to 3 days post-burn compared with the expression of c-fos mRNA and protein. Treatment with BDM induced to raise c-fos mRNA and protein expression. The expression of MMP-1,2/TIMP-1,2 was also increased accordingly. However, following treatment with H7 inhibited the expression of c-fos mRNA and protein, MMP-1,2/TIMP-1,2 proteins expression decreased. Exogenous c-fos antibody could inhibit endogenous c-fos protein expression and the expression of MMP-1/TIMP-1,2 decreased, but MMP-2 has no notable changes.
CONCLUSIONSThe expression of MMP-1,2 and TIMP-1,2 has closely relation protein kinases activated signaling pathways. The expression changes of MMP-1 and TIMP-1/TIMP-2 depend on c-fos expression. Oncogenes play an important role in the change process of wound matrix degradation and remodeling.

7.Effects of simvastatin on PI3K/AKT signaling pathway in human acute monocytic leukemia cell line SHI-1.

To investigate the effects of 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl coenzyme A reductase inhibitor simvastatin (SV) on proliferation, apoptosis and the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway in human acute monocytic leukemia cell line SHI-1. SHI-1 cells were incubated with different concentrations of SV (5, 10, 15 µmol/L). Otherwise, SHI-1 cells without any treatment were used as control. Cells in different groups were collected at 24, 48 and 72 h after incubation for further detection. MTT method was used to assay the growth inhibition rate and flow cytometry was used to detect the early stage apoptosis ratio. The human PI3K-AKT Signaling Pathway RT(2) Profiler(TM) PCR Array was used to detect the expression of 84 genes involved in PI3K-AKT signaling. The results indicated that the SV inhibited the proliferation and inducted the apoptosis of SHI-1 cells in time- and dose-dependent manners significantly. The growth inhibition rates of SHI-1 cells treated with 15 µmol/L SV for 24, 48 and 72 h were 26.82, 47.09 and 63.92, respectively; and their early stage apoptosis ratios were 5.75, 13.25 and 15.59, respectively. Compared with the control group, expression levels of 39 genes were changed in the group of 15 µmol/L SV at 48 h, among them 26 genes were down-regulated and 13 genes were up-regulated. It is concluded that the SV can inhibit proliferation and induce apoptosis of SHI-1 cells, and the mechanism may be associated with the changes of gene expression level in PI3K-AKT signaling pathway regulated by SV.

8.Systematic Evaluation and Meta-Analysis of the Effect of Gynostemma pentaphyllum on Clinical Indexes of Hyperlipidemia

The purpose of this study was to explore the clinical efficacy and safety of Gynostemma pentaphyllum (G. pentaphyllum) in the treatment of hyperlipidemia, and to provide systematic evaluation basis for clinical application. CNKI, Wanfang Data, VIP, Web of science, PubMed, Embase and Cochrane Library were searched for randomized controlled trials (RCTs) about G. pentaphyllum in the treatment of hyperlipidemia. Review Manager 5.4 were used for statistical analysis. Through reading topics, abstracts, and full texts, 27 papers with 2311 cases involved that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were finally included for the analysis. In terms of curative effect, the effect of G. pentaphyllum alone in increasing high density lipoprotein (HDL) index was better than that of conventional treatment, and the effect of reducing total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) was similar to that of conventional treatment. There was a synergistic effect between G. pentaphyllum and conventional drugs, and the combination of G. pentaphyllum and conventional drugs was superior to conventional treatment in reducing TG and increasing HDL. G. pentaphyllum can also decrease the levels of serum glutamic pyruvic transaminase and glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase in the treatment of hyperlipidemia, indicating a certain protective function of the liver. In terms of safety, there were fewer cases of adverse reactions in the G. pentaphyllum treatment group, and the adverse reaction events reported in the literature was mild. According to the results of meta-analysis, G. pentaphyllum was effective in the treatment of hyperlipidemia, and it has the potential to be combined with traditional drugs, has a certain liver protection function, and was superior to traditional drugs in the treatment of hyperlipidemia.
9.Discussion on the construction of the first sexual-health internet hospital in China

We retrieved the data on sexual-health internet hospitals from the Baidu Search Engine and Apple and Android APP Stores between August 2018 and September 2022.With the specialized Sexual-Health Internet Hospital affiliated to SPPH as an exam-ple,we analyzed its framework and system.It fully displays the closed-loop of medical service system of"doctor-patient-medicine-insurance-delivery",provides the protection of patients'privacy,offers comprehensive services,and manifests the values of socializa-tion,instrumentalization and commercialization.The booming of the internet medical industry in China is driven by national policies,and the rapid-rising of specialized internet hospitals largely stems from the clearer requirements of the state for regulation compliance and operation supervision.Against the background of the global spread of COVID-19,which has been demonstrated with a significant correlation to sexual health,only further rational and standardized management can ensure safe and efficient development of sexual-health internet hospitals to satisfy various health needs.
10.A multicenter clinical study on the treatment of lateral epicondylitis of humerus by manipulation

Objective To investigate clinical effect of tendons pulling,poking and kneading for the treatment of external humeral epicondylitis.Metods From January 2018 to December 2021,a multicenter randomized controlled study was per-formed to collect 192 patients with external humeral epicondylitis in Wangjing Hospital,Beijing Dianli Hospital,and Beijing Fengsheng Osteotraumatology Hospital,respectively,and they were divided into treatment group and control group by random number table method.There were 96 patients in treatment group,including 36 males and 60 females,aged from 28 to 60 years old with an average of(41.20±5.50)years old;the course of disease ranged from 1 to 14 days with an average of(5.24±1.35)days;they were treated once every other day for 2 weeks.There were 96 patients in control group,including 33 males and 63 females,aged from 26 to 60 years old with an average of(43.35±7.75)years old;the course of disease ranged from 1 to 14 days with an average of(5.86±1.48)days;they were treated with topical voltaalin combined with elbow joint fixation for 2 weeks.Visual analogue scale(VAS)and Hospital for Surgery Scoring System(HSS)elbow pronation and supination angles,wrist metacarpal flexion and dorsal extension angles,elbow tenderness between two groups were compared before treatment and at 1,3,5,7,11 and 13 days after treatment;Hospital for Surgery Scoring System 2(HSS2)was compared before treatment and the final treatment.Results All patients were followed up for 10 to 14 days with an average of(12±1.6)days.VAS between treatment group and control group before treatment were 6.83±1.36 and 6.79±1.58,respectively,and decreased to 1.49±1.09 and 2.11±1.81 after the final treatment.VAS of treatment group were significantly lower than those of control group at 1,3,5,7,9,11 and 13 days after treatment(P<0.05).HSS between two groups were 61.73±11.00 and 36.47±12.45 before treatment,respectively,and increased to 94.42±5.9 and 91.44±9.11 at the final treatment.HSS of treatment group were signifi-cantly higher than those of control group at 1,3,5,7,9,11 and 13 days after treatment(P<0.05).On the 5th day after treat-ment,the external and internal rotation angles of elbow in treatment group were(66.41±12.69)° and(66.35±13.54)°,while those in control group were(62.08±16.03)° and(61.77±16.35)°.On the 7th day after treatment,the external and internal ro-tation angles of elbow were(69.79±12.64)° and(70.02±13.55)° in treatment group,and(65.28±15.86)° and(65.09± 16.67)° in control group.Elbow joint motion in treatment group was higher than that in control group(P<0.05).On the 5th day after treatment,angles of wrist dorsiflexion and palm flexion were(39.43±15.94)°and(46.68±11.10)° in treatment group,and(38.51±18.49)° and(44.27±13.58)° in control group.On the 7th day after treatment,angles of wrist dorsiflexion and palm flexion were(42.52±16.50)° and(49.23±10.96)° in treatment group,and(41.18±20.09)° and(46.64±14.63)° in control group.The motion of wrist joint in treatment group was higher than that in control group(P<0.05).On the 13th day after treatment,HSS2 in treatment group 93.61±6.32 were higher than those in control group 92.06±7.94(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in elbow tenderness between two groups at each time point(P>0.05).Conclusion Voltaren external treatment combined with elbow fixation and tendons pulling,poking and kneading could effectively improve symptoms of exter-nal humeral epicondylitis.Compared with voltaren external treatment,tendons pulling,poking and kneading has advantages of longer analgesic time and better elbow function recovery.
