Objective To explore the effect of experimental design in the experimental teaching of fundamental nursing. Methods 168 and 199 baccalaureate nursing students were in the control and experimental group respectively, the control group received traditional experimental teaching method, and the experimental group must complete the experimental design before entering the lab. The teaching effect between the two groups were compared. Results The mean operation score of the experimental group was significantly higher than the control group, the proportion of those students who reflected their teaching method could enhance creative ability, problem-solving ability and practical ability was higher in the experimental group, 100% teachers reflected experimental design could improve operation level, strengthen theoretical knowledge, animate teaching atmosphere. Conclusions Experimental design could arouse students' enthusiasm and initiative to study, advocate them to think and ask.

Epidemics of hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD) have mainly been caused by Coxsackievirus A16 (CVA16) and Enterovirus A 71 (EV-A71), which circulated alternatively or together in the affected area. CVA16 has caused numerous outbreaks and epidemics in multiple countries and geographical regions, and has become an important public health problem. Based on an analysis of the complete VP1 coding region, all CVA16 strains can be divided into genotypes A, B1, and B2. Furthermore, genotype B1 can be divided into subgenotypes B1a, B1b, and B1c. After 2000, no reports of genotype B2 virus strains have been reported. All of the CVA16 strains reported in mainland China have belonged to subgenotypes B1a and B1b. Most CVA16-associated infections cause only mild symptoms; however, some CVA16 infections can lead to severe complications and even death. Vaccination is considered to be the most effective method to control the transmission and infection rate of this virus. A number of research groups are studying various vaccine types, including inactivated vaccines, genetic engineering vaccines, and DNA vaccines, amongst others. In this review, an overview is provided of the research advances in molecular epidemiology and vaccines of CVA16.

It was found that Ag nanoparticles (NPs) could enhance the chemiluminescence (CL) intensity of luminol- potassium ferricyanide system. On the basis of enhancement effect,a flow injection method was developed for the determination of terbutaline sulfate. The structure and shape of Ag NPs were characterized by transmission electron microscopy. The UV-Vis absorption spectra and chemiluminescence spectra suggested that new luminophor was not formed after Ag NPs introducing in luminol-potassium ferricyanide chemiluminescence system. A possible mechanism of Ag NPs strengthening on luminol-potassium ferricyanide CL reaction was also discussed. The effect of concentration of luminol,potassium ferricyanide,sodium hydroxide and Ag NPs on CL reaction was investigated respectively. In the optimum conditions,the linear range was 1.0×10~(-9) -2.0 ×10~(-5) g/L(r =0.9935) and the detection limit was 1×10~(-10) g/L. The relative standard deviation (RSD) was 3.6% for 1. 0 ×10~(-6) g/L terbutaline sulfate (n = 11 ). The recommended method has been successfully applied to the determination of terbutaline sulfate tablets and the recovery was between 98. 5% - 102. 5% ,moreover the results were almost identical with the same results of Pharmacopoeia method.

AlM: To explore the visual evoked potential in infantile orbital cellulitis' clinical applications by monitoring the visual evoked potential changes in infantile orbital cellulitis before, during and after treatment.
METHODS:Twenty-three cases of CT diagnosed single orbital cellulitis were examined by the visual evoked potentials. The affected eyes as observation group, and healthy eyes as control group. Comparative observation of visual evoked potential changes in amplitude and incubation period before, during and after the treatment. RESULTS: Compared with the control group, the observation group's visual evoked potential changes included reduced amplitude, extended incubation period. With the treatment progress, the observation group had gradual increase in amplitude, gradual reduction in incubation period.
CONCLUSlON: ln infantile orbital cellulitis, the use of visual evoked potentials is a simple, feasible and effective method to monitoring the visual function during the treatment.

Objective To analyse the clinical efficacy of methotrexate (MTX) combined with intrauterine embryo sac garrotte injection in the treatment of cesarean scar pregnancy (CSP), and discuss its clinical significance. Methods A total of 77 patients with CSP treated in our hospital during June 2013 to December 2016 were selected in this study. Forty patients treated with embryo sac destruction and methotrexate injection were included in the observation group, while 37 cases treated by uterine artery embolization combined with curettage were used as the control group. The time of vaginal bleeding, the time of postoperative blood level of human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) returned to the normal level, average hospitalization cost and the curative rate were recorded in two groups. All patients were followed up by the outpatient visit. Results In the observation group, the vaginal bleeding time [(22.1±6.7) days vs. (29.5±10.8) days] and treatment cost [(8774.2 ± 714.5) yuan vs. (15258.3 ± 1084.2) yuan] were less than those of the control group (P<0.001). There were no significant differences in the recovery time of HCG [(26.4±9.0) days vs. (25.1±10.4) days] and treatment success rate (87.5%vs. 91.9%) between the two groups (P>0.05). No bleeding or threatened rupture of scar were found in two groups of patients. Conclusion In this study, we take the embryo sac puncture combined with methotrexate injection in the treatment of scar pregnancy. This method has the advantages of low operative difficulty, definite clinical curative effect and low cost

OBJECTIVETo observe morphological changes of enteric nervous system (ENS)-interstitial cells of Cajal (ICC)-smooth muscle cell (SMC) structure injury in deep muscle nerve plexus offunctional dyspepsia (FD) rats, and the repair of Shuwei Decoction (SD) on it, and to explore its effecton FD.

METHODSTotally 72 rats were randomly divided into the control group, the model group, the lowdose SD group, the medium dose SD group, and the high dose SD group, the Mosapride group, 12 ineach group. Rats in the low dose SD group, the medium dose SD group, and the high dose SD group were intragastrically fed with SD at 0.767, 1.534, 3.068 g/mL, respectively. Rats in the Mosapride group were intragastrically fed with Mosapride (1.37 mg/kg). FD rat model with Gan depression Pi deficiency syndrome (GDPDS) was established using complex pathogenic factors. Corresponding liquors were respectively administered to rats in corresponding groups from the 3rd day after modeling. Distilled water(10 mL/kg) was administered to rats in the control group and the model group, once per day for 14 successive days. Rats were sacrificed and small intestine tissues collected for observing ENS-ICC-SMC structure injury using immunofluorescence double labeling, laser scanning confocal microscope, and transmission electron microscope at day 15. Repair of SD on it was also observed.

RESULTSENS-ICC SMC structure was incomplete, with obvious injury in mutual link of ICC, ICC, SMC, and connecting structure. ENS-ICC-SMC structure was more complete in high, medium, and low dose SD groups, with close link of ICC and SMO. Their connecting structures were in good conditions.

CONCLUSIONSD could keep the integrity of ENS-ICC-SMC structure by promoting regeneration and morphology of ICC, thereby, improving gastrointestinal movement disorder and showing therapeutic effect on FD.

Hospital cases were collected from 18 hospitals regarding their clinic facility layout optimization when they implement the National Healthcare Improvement Initiative.These data were used to learn the implementation at such hospitals,and summarize problems and experiences of the Initiative,for reference of sustained improvements.

Objective To investigate the prognostic value of amino-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) in patients with sepsis.Methods A total of 162 patients was enrolled with consecutive pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) admissions during the study period of Jan 1st,2013 to June 30th,2013 at Hunan Children's Hospital.The 162 septic patients were divided into sepsis group and severe sepsis group,sepsis group and septic shock group,and survival group and death group.NT-proBNP was tested in the first and third day after 162 septic patients in hospital.Pediatric critical illness score (PCIS) score was assessed in all patients.NT-proBNP was compared between groups.The change of NT-proBNP was summarized between groups.The relationship between NT-proBNP and PCIS was analyzed.Results (1) The plasma NT-proBNP level of the first day after admission in the severe sepsis group and septic shock group was higher than sepsis group,the PCIS in the sepsis group was higher than severe sepsis group and septic shock group,with significant difference (P ＜ 0.05).(2) The plasma NT-proBNP level of the first day after admission in the death group was higher than the survival group,the PCIS in the death was lower than the survivor group,with significant difference (P ＜ 0.05).In the death group,the plasma NT-proBNP level of the third day after admission was higher than the NT-proBNP of the first day after admission (P =0.037) ; contrarily,the plasma NT-proBNP level of the third day after admission was lower than the NT-proBNP of the first day after admission in the survival group (P =0.023).Conclusions NT-proBNP could be used to assess the condition of septic patients,and dynamic test NT-proBNP can help to predict septic patient’s prognosis.

Objective To evaluate the effect of comprehensive control of schistosomiasis along the Xinglong River in Qianji?ang City so as to provide the evidence for improving schistosomiasis control. Methods The comprehensive control measures including infection source control and Oncomelania hupensis snail eradication were surveyed along the Xinglong River in Qianji?ang City. Results The prevalence of schistosomiasis was under control that was the human and cattle infection rates decreased by 53.77%and 100%respectively the snail area decreased by 26.9% the mean density of living snails decreased by 25.5%and no infected snails was found. Conclusions The comprehensive control measures along the Xinglong River are effective and the management and surveillance of snail environments still should be strengthened.

Objective To evaluate the clinical value of N-terminal pro brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) in septic children with myocardial damage.Methods From Jan 1 to Jun 30,2013,162 children confirmed with sepsis in PICU of Hu'nan Children's Hospital were enrolled in the study.Patients were divided into myocardical injury and non-myocardical injury group according to whether accompanied with myocardial injury.NT-proBNP,lactate dehydrogenase,creatine kinase isoenzyme (CK-MB),troponin Ⅰ (cTnⅠ),myoglobin(MB) of patients were measured within 24 h after admission.The NT-proBNP level between two groups was compared.The correlations between NT-proBNP and cTnⅠ,CK-MB were studied respectively.Results The NT-proBNP level[M(Q)] in myocardial injury group[3 632 (668.5,15 453.5) pg/ml] was higher than that in non-myocardial injury group[349 (169,1 500) pg/ml],which was significantly different(Z =91.881,P =0.000).The levels of NT-proBNP,CK-MB,cTnⅠ,MB were abnormal distributions.There were positive correlations between logNT-proBNP and logCK-MB (r =0.367,P =0.000),logcTnⅠ(r =0.304,P =0.001) and logMB (r=0.302,P =0.000).NT-proBNP value of 1 163 ng/ml had a sensitivity of 76％ and a specificity of 74％ to diagnose myocardial injury.Conclusion NT-proBNP could help to diagnose sepsis with myocardial damage.
