Purpose To observe the curative effect of electroacupuncture in treating depression. Method Two hundred and ten subjects were randomly divided into electroacupuncture group and medication group. Results and conclusion The results were evaluated by an international depression scale in both groups. After one-course treatment, the average score markedly decreased in both groups, and a t-test showed that there was a significant difference in curative effect between before and after treatment in each group ( P < 0.001 ); but there was no such a difference between the two groups (P > 0.05 ).Electroacupuncture can be compared favorably with amitriptyline, an antidepressant. However, taking amitriptyline will produce some side effects. Therefore electroacupuncture is especially suitable for those who cannot take medicine.

[Result] Through clinical observation and comparison, traditional Chinese medicine to western medicine in the treatment of subacute thyroiditis, good treatment compliance, curative effect are exact, side effects rarely, high patient satisfaction,good prognosis show obvious advantage. [Conclusion] Chinese medicine treatment of subacute thyroiditis, compared with the western medicine has obvious advantage for early clinical intervention, controling an illness as soon as possible, improving prognosis, reducing hypothyroidism incidence are of great significance.

Objective:To analyze the osmotic pressure of citicoline sodium injection from different manufacturers to provide experi-mental basis for improving the national standard of the product. Methods:The cryoscopic method was used to detect the osmotic pres-sure of 479 batches of citicoline sodium injection from 45 pharmaceutical factories. Results:The osmotic pressure of citicoline sodium injection was within the range of 359-692 mOsmol · kg-1 , that of citicoline sodium for injection was within the range of 401-1408 mOsmol·kg-1 , and that of citicoline sodium chloride injection was within the range of 278-299 mOsmol·kg-1 . Conclusion:The os-motic pressure of citicoline sodium injection and citicoline sodium for injection from different manufacturers is obviously different. It is necessary to detect osmotic pressure in the quality standard in order to evaluate the quality of preparation process.

Objective To screen out the individuals at high cognitive risk by using the weakest link theory,and explore the characters of the cognitive emotion regulation.Methods 600 undergraduate students were tested with cognitive style questionnaire,general social and academic hassles scale,center for epidemiologic studies depression scale,and cognitive emotion regulation questionnaire.Results There were significant differences between individuals of high and low cognitive risk in self-blame (13.32 ± 2.12) vs (12.45 ± 2.27),rumination,catastrophizing,blaming others,positive refocusing and positive reappraising.Catastrophizing,generality,rumination,positive reappraising,stress,self-blame,and self could predict 34.2％ of depression.Conclusion There are differences between individuals of high and low cognitive risk in cognitive emotion regulation.Catastrophizing,generality,rumination,positive reappraising,stress,self-blame,and self are the main predictors of depression.

Objective To study the severity of systemic inflammatory response to type B epidemic encephalitis and blood tumor necrosis factor complicated with respiratory failure.Methods Fourteen children with type B epidemic encephalitis were divided into two groups;6 cases in group one with respiratory failure were given mechanical ventilation and the other 8 cases had normal respiration.Breat-hing pattern,respiratory rate,GCS scores,daily dosage of sedatives were observed before endotracheal intubation;while heart rate,temperature,WBC,CRP,TNF were measured.Results Patients in respiratory failure group were given a small dosage of Luminal;there was no significant difference in GCS between two groups treated with compound Wintermin.The heart rate,temperature,WBC,CRP,TNF levels in respiratory failure group were significantly higher than those in normal respiratory group.Conclusions The severity of systemic inflammatory response is more severe in epidemic type B encephalitis with respiratory failure than the controls.Significant increase in blood TNF may be an important factors to cause peripheral respiratory failure.

This paper analyzes and discusses the research advances of acupuncture in the treatment of childhood cerebral palsy from the perspectives of clinical treatment and its mechanism. Acupuncture has great advantages in the treatment of childhood cerebral palsy,however, there are methodological problems in current researches, clinical researches in particular. High-quality clinical researches should be conducted to improve clinical efficacy fully.

Purpose To characterize normal growth of the fetal fourth ventricle in the second trimester of pregnancy by standardized ultrasonography.Materials and Methods 516 cases of pregnant women with single fetus aged 18-27 weeks and 6 days were examined by conventional ultrasound.At the standard section of the fourth ventricle,the transverse dimension,anteroposterior dimension,circumference and area of the fourth ventricle were measured.Results The display rate of the fourth ventricles of fetuses aged 18-27 weeks and 6 days was up to 100％.There were no significant differences in the values of the fourth ventricles between fetuses with different gender (P＞0.05).The values of the fourth ventricle,including transverse dimension,anteroposterior dimension,circumference and area,increased linearly with the increase of gestational age,and there were positive correlations (r=0.374,0.378,0.387,0.379,P＜0.05).Conclusion The normal size of the fourth ventricle can be obtained by standardized measurement,which can be used as a reference for the clinical evaluation of the size of the fourth ventricle.

Objective:To evaluate the effect of emodin on acute rejection after orthotopic liver transplantation(OLT) in rats.Methods:The LEW→BN OLT models were established.A total of 45 rats were divided randomly and equally into 3 groups:group A was treated with normal saline at dose of 0.5 ml/d intraperitoneally from 1st day to 8th day after operation;Group B,CsA at dose of 10.0 mg?kg-1?d-1;Group C,emodin at dose of 50.0 mg?kg-1?d-1.8 days after operation,6 recipients of each groups were killed for confirming rejection-active index(RAI) and hepatocellular apoptosis index(AI) by observing the pathologic change of transplanted liver in recipients.The other recipients were raised for observing the survival time.Results:Respectively,the survival time(days) of group A,B,C was 9.50?1.64,21.57?2.15,21.29?2.21.The survival time of group B,C was significantly longer than that of group A(P0.05).Respectively,the RAI of group A,B,C was 7.67?0.9,5.17?0.40,5.83?0.75 and the AI of group A,B,C was 35.83?2.32,15.83?1.33,16.50?2.35.The RAI and AI of group B,C was significantly lower than that of group A(P0.05).Conclusion:Emodin can reduce the hepatocellular apoptosis and suppress the acute rejection after OLT in rats.
