Based on the thought of Zhishen (a kind of mind regulation), Professor SHI Xue-min, academician of the China Academy of Engineering, found the Xingnao Kaiqiao (to refresh the mind and to cause resuscitation) acupuncture method, which still plays an important role in the acupuncture treatment of wind stroke nowadays. Meanwhile, great importance is attached to the comprehensive treatment of wind stroke. Danqi Piantan capsule (see text) is developed and "wind stroke unit" is set up. In recent years, Professor SHI shifts the center of research to the treatment of hypertension, the risk factor of wind stroke. Taking Renying (ST 9) as the major acupoint, acupuncture with standard measurement and manipulations is established. And good clinical effect has been obtained as well. Therefore, this article focuses on the introduction of Professor SHI Xue-min's contribution to wind stroke treatment.

Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 2000;0(11):-
AIM: To investigate the effect of chronic atrial fibrillation (AF) on free calcium concentration and expression of Ca 2+ /calmodulin dependent protein kinase Ⅱ (CaMKⅡ) in human atrial myocytes. METHODS: The intracellular free calcium concentration in acute isolated atrial myocytes and the expression of CaMKⅡ in atrial tissue of rheumatic heart disease patients with atrial fibrillation (AF) and with normal sinus rhythm were measured by laser scanning cofocal microscopy technique and Western blotting, respectively. RESULTS: The intracellular Ca 2+ concentration in patients with atrial fibrillation was significantly higher than that in patients with normal sinus rhythm [(276.38?38.12) nmol/L vs (122.28?45.63) nmol/L, P

38.5 ℃) and urine leakage were similar between the two groups [8.7% (4/46) vs 3.7% (1/27),?2=0.112,P=0.737; and 0 (0/46) vs 3.7% (1/27),?2=0.074,P=0.786]. Conclusions Both MPCNL and RLUL are effective and safe for impacted upper ureteral calculi. RLUL,which results in less blood loss but longer operation time,is feasible in advanced hospitals.

Objective To investigate the effect of chronic atrial fibrillation on free calcium concentration and expression of Ca 2+ /calmodulin dependent protein kinase Ⅱ (CaMKⅡ) in human atrial myocytes. Methods The intracellular free calcium concentration in rapidly isolated atrial myocytes and the expression of CaMKⅡ in atrial tissue of rheumatic heart disease patients with atrial fibrillation (AF) or with normal sinus rhythm were measured by laser scanning confocal microscopy and Western blotting respectively. Results The intracellular Ca 2+ concentration of patients with atrial fibrillation was significantly higher than that of patients with normal sinus rhythm [(276.38?38.12) vs (122.28?45.63) nmol/L, (P

Objective: To study the pharmacological effects of Zengxuean capsule (Radix Astragali, Indigo Naturalis, Cordyceps, etc) on anti inflammation. Methods:A few conventional models, such as the mouse pinna swelling induced by croton oil, were employed to determine the anti inflammatory activities of Zengxuean capsule. Results: Zengxuean capsule obviously inhibited the swelling of mouse pinna induced by croton oil, suppressed the edema of rat hind paw elicited by injection of 1% carrageenan, significantly depressed the increase of peritoneal capillary permeability in the xylene induced mice, and greatly decreased proliferation of granuloma led by implanting cotton pellet. It had an abatement effect of algesia induced by heat with tail flick method, and could not inhibit the swelling of pinna led by croton oil when mouse's adrenal was resected. Conclusion: Zengxuean capsule is an effective medicine on anti inflammation, and its acitivity is realized by adrenal cortical system.

Objective To summarize the experience of nursing cooperation for immediate breast reconstruction with the latissimus dorsi myocutaneous flap. Methods Twenty breast cancer patients underwent modified radical surgery with intraoperative immediate application of the latissimus dorsi myocutaneous flap in combination with the same period breast prosthesis for breast reconstruction. The nursing measures included preoperative preparation and mental support, intraoperative active cooperation, position care, sustaining of body temperature and strict aseptic and disease-free technology. Results All the breast cancer patients lived through breast cancer modified radical immediate breast reconstruction. No flap necrosis occurred , neither did obvious complications. The operations were satisfactory. Conclusion The key to the breast reconstruction for the breast cancer patients exists in preoperative psychological nursing , intraoperative strict aseptic and disease-free technology , the proper operation position and the correct use of instruments and equipment.

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1986;0(06):-
Aim To explore effects of acidic fibroblast growth factor(aFGF)on the growth of renal tubular epithelial cells cultured in vitro. Methods Renal tubular epithelial cells in rats were gained through digestion by pamcreatin. aFGF was added into cultures of renal tubular epithelial cells, as experimental groups. The number of cells was counted and the shape of cells was observed at 12,24,48 and 72 h. Results Renal tubular epithelial cells were successfully obtained from kidneys. After treated for 72 h,the renal tubular epithelial cells showed different proliferation in experimental and control groups. There was no obvious difference at 12 h, but there was statistical difference between the two groups at 24 h,48h and 72 h(P

It is a trend that innovate the traditional bilingual education model and select a new teaching model.Code-switching is a lingual phenomenon when a passages or articles are expressed with two or more language. To guarantee effect of bilingual education and improve education quality, penetration bilingual education was applied during microbiology teaching.Professional English vocabulary, words, passages or articles were introduced to students timely and by measure by the way of language code-switching.The results showed that bilingual teaching mode with language code-switching inspire study emotion and self-confidence of English expression from students.
