The notational DSA was first proposed for the application as a managing tool of neuronradiology in the early 70's of 20th centery.Later on,three dimensional image reconstruction(3D DSA) was aquired along with the progressing development of technique and equipment devices. As a rather practical instrument,it has been utilized successfully in the diagnosis and management of head and neck vascular disorders, and abdominal parenchymal diseases during recent years. We comprehensively intoduce the application of rotational DSA for the diagnosis and management in hepatic diseases.

Objective To understand the features of lymphatic vessel, and to summarize the foundation and mechanism of the promotion and inhibition of tumor lymphangiogenesis recorded on the current studies of animal ex- periments and clinical researches. Methods The related literatures of the structural features of lymphatic vessel, lymphatic endothelial molecular markers, the origin of lymphatic tumors, the molecular mechanisms and regulatory factors were reviewed, and the relationship between tumor lymphangiogenesis and lymphatic metastasis, the treat- ment targeting at the formation of the anti-tumor lymphatic vessel and its existing problems were also analyzed.Re- suits Hyperplasia of lymphatic vessels occurred during the process of tumor formation and progression. The struc- tural features of the lymphatic vessels in the tumor were conducive to tumor lymphatic metastasis. In recent years, methods of anti-lymphangiogenesis and inhibition of tumor lymphatic metastasis had achieved considerable success in animal experiments. However, there were still a lot of problems need to be solved. Conclusion Tumor lymphangio- genesis has a significantly positive correlation between tumor lymphatic metastasis and patients'prognosis, which may indicate that treatment against the formation of tumor lymphatic vessel maybe effective.
5. The relationship between autophagy and the sensitivity to cisplatin in ovarian cancer SKOV3 and SKOV3/DDP cells
Tumor 2013;33(10):862-867
Objective: To investigate the relationship between the autophagy and the sensitivity to DDP (cisplatin) in epithelial ovarian cancer SKOV3 and SKOV3/DDP cells. Methods: The formation of autophagosomes in SKOV3 and SKOV3/DDP cells was observed under a TEM (transmission electron microscope). MTT assay was used to screen the dose of nontoxic reaction of autophagy inhibitor 3-MA (3-methyladenine) and to examine the sensitivity to DDP in SKOV3 and SKOV3/DDP cells after treatment with the combination of DDP and 3-MA. The apoptotic rate and the expressions of autophagic marker protein LC3 (microtubule-associated protein 1 light chain 3) and autophagy-related protein Beclin1 in SKOV3 and SKOV3/DDP cells after treatment with DDP and 3-MA alone and the combination of DDP and 3-MA were detected by flow cytometry and Western blotting, respectively. Results: Much more autophagosomes in SKOV3/DDP cells were observed as compared with that in SKOV3 cells. As compared with DDP treatment alone, when DDP was used in combination with 3-MA, the IC50 (half inhibitory concentration) value of DDP for SKOV3/DDP cells was decreased from (17.71±0.15) μg/mL to (8.85±0.11) μg/mL (P < 0.05), and the apoptotic rate was increased from (6.93±0.94) % to (14.82±0.85) % (P < 0.05), as well as the expression levels of LC3 and Beclin1 proteins in SKOV3/DDP cells were significantly decreased (P < 0.05), but there were no significant changes could be observed in SKOV3 cells. Conclusion: The increased activity of autophagy is related to DDP-resistance of ovarian cancer cells. The inhibition of autophagy may enhance the sensitivity to DDP in SKOV3/DDP cells. Objective To observe the changes of extracellular matrix(ECM) production and hypertrophy of glomerular mesangial cells(GMCs) induced by high glucose(HG),and the inhibitory role of myriocin(ISP-1).Methods GMC cultured with normal glucose(5.6 mmol/L D-Glucose,NG),HG(25.2 mmol/L D-Glucose) and HG plus ISP-1(100 mg/L) for different durations(0,24,48,(72 h)).The sizes of GMC were indicated by forward scatter intensity, measured by flow cytometery, and the levels of fibronection(FN),collagen Ⅳ(Col Ⅳ),laminin(LN),precollagen Ⅲ(Pcol Ⅲ) and hyaluronic acid(HA) in the supernatant of cultured GMC were detec-(ted) by ELISA.Results Compared with NG,HG could induce GMC hypertrophy(P

Evidence has indicated that low doses of anti-tumor regimens can induce cell apoptosis in vitro, although different regimens induce apoptosis by different mechanism and pathway. In recent years, new tumor treatment strategy has been mainly focused on inducing tumor cell apoptosis. The present review discusses the advantages and disadvantages of inducing tumor cell apoptosis. The benefit of inducing apoptosis is not to cause inflammatory reaction, but as its disadvantage, it inhibits immune responses, and the phagocytosis of apopotic bodies may result in horizontal transfer of genes (including oncogenes and other oncogenic materials), which can be one of the causes of tumor relapse. This paper proposes that the tumor treatment strategy should be turn into promoting tumor cell necrosis and inducing anti-tumor immune responses.
