Objective To investigate the efficacy of two different methods in treatment of liver cancer which sizes ranged from 3 to 6cm ,and provide the basis for clinical treatment methods .Methods A retrospective analysis of the curative effect of liver cancer patients whose tumor diameter were rang from 3 to 6 cm was done .All patients collected from the Forth Cadre′s Sanatorium and Health Center ,Military Region in Shandong province Taian zones at the time of December 2008 to December 2011 who carried out surgical resection or radiofrequency ablation .Results 41 cases of recurrence within a year in surgical group ,the recurrence rate was 32 .5% ,87 cases(69 .1% ) of recurrence ,103 cases(81 .7% ) of recurrence within 3 years ;41 cases of recurrence within a year in radio frequency ablation group ,the recurrence rate was 40 .8% ,51 cases(71 .8% ) of recurrence within 2 years ,60 cases(84 .5% ) of recurrence within 3 years ,a statistically significant difference were found between the two group at the same period time (P<0 .05);1 ,2 ,3 year survival rates were 84 .6% ,69 .8% ,56 .3% in surgical group ,radiofrequency 1 ,2 ,3 year survival rates were 85 .3% ,70 .9% ,53 .4 in radio frequency ablation group ,The difference was not statistically significant at the same period time (P>0 .05) .Conclusion For size between 3 to 6 cm liver cancer ,radiofrequency ablation can be used as the preferred method of treatment .

Objective Based on the concept of quality marker (Q-marker), a chemical method was developed to evaluate the quality of the multi-original medicinal material “Meiduoluomi” and predict its Q-marker. Methods Firstly, the Q-marker were preliminary predicted based on the relationship between genetic relationship and biosynthesis pathway, pharmacological activity and chemical composition. Secondly, the main active components were determined by UHPLC. The analysis was performed using ACQUITY UHPLC HSS C18 column (100 mm × 2.1 mm, 1.8 μm); Mobile phase was acetonitrile (A)-0.3% acetic acid water (B) with gradient elution; The flow rate was 0.2 mL/min; The column temperature was 35 ℃; The detection wavelength was 320 nm. Results A new method for simultaneous determining five compounds of meiduoluomi was established, including chlorogenic acid, caffeic acid, 3,4-dicaffeoylquinic acid, 3,5-dicaffeoylquinic acid, and 4,5-dicaffeoylquinic acid. The linear relationship of them was good at the range of 9.60-480.00, 10.27-513.50, 10.08-504.03, 9.64-482.80, and 3.82-380.24 mg/L, respectively; And the average recovery rates were 102.43%, 99.78%, 99.39%, 103.12%, and 101.83%, respectively. The five components were detected in each sample and the total content of the five components was more than 10% in the herbal medicine. It was suggested that the five components can be used as a Q-marker of meiduoluomi for quality control. Conclusion The coffeic acid components are scientific and reasonable to be considered as a Q-marker of meiduoluomi. The developed UHPLC method can be used for the quality control of meiduoluomi. This study provides new idea for the rational evaluation of multi-original medicinal material based on Q-marker.

ObjectiveTo discuss the effect of neonatal behavioral neurological assessment (NBNA) and developmental screening test (DST) on newborns with hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy (HIE). MethodsNBNA was performed for 60 newborns with HIE within 12-14 days and DST was also performed at 6th month after birth.ResultsMild and severe degree HIE newborns with low NBNA scores had unfavorable prognosis. Conclusions NBNA and DST can provide evidence for early interference for newborn's HIE.

Objective We selected baculovirus expression vector system to express human NT-4 with biological activity. Methods The hNT-4 mature peptide-coding sequence is amplified by polymerase chain reaction (PCR), ligated to baculovirus expression vector PacGP67B, and expressed in the insert sf9 cell line. Results The protein molecular weight of the expressed hNT-4 was about 15000 by SDS-PAGE,and the hNT-4 antibody could react with this protein in the infected supernatant and total cell by western-blot . The activity of hNT-4 determined by PC12 cell line was definite. Conclusions The results may aid for studying the effect of the hNT-4 on basic medical research and clinical application.

Objective:To investigate the therapeutic effect and signaling pathway of ginsenoside Rb1 on myocardial injury in mice with Kawasaki disease.Methods:BALB/C mice aged 5-6 weeks were randomly divided into control group, model group, aspirin group, ginsenoside Rb1 low dose group(50 mg/kg) and high dose group(100 mg/kg), with 12 mice in each group.Except the control group, other groups were treated with intermittent intraperitoneal injection of 10% bovine serum albumin saline solution to induce Kawasaki disease myocardial injury pathological model with a total of 6 days(twice a day); aspirin group, Rb1 low and high-dose group were given corresponding drugs by gavage for 20 days after modeling.The pathological changes of myocardial tissue were observed by hematoxylin eosin staining.The levels of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α), interleukin-1β(IL-1β), interleukin-6(IL-6) and cardiac troponin I(cTnI) in serum and myocardial tissue were detected by ELISA.The activities of creatine kinase(CK), creatine kinase isoenzyme(CK-MB), lactate dehydrogenase(LDH), α-hydroxybutyrate dehydrogenase(α-HBDH) and aspartate aminotransferase(AST) in serum were detected by enzyme coupling method.The expression levels of janus kinase 2/signal transducer and activator of transcription 3(JAK2/STAT3) signaling pathway related proteins in myocardial tissue were detected by Western blot.Results:High dose of Rb1 significantly improved myocardial fiber rupture and tear, inflammatory infiltration and necrosis induced by myocardial injury in model group.ELISA results showed that, compared with the model group, high-dose Rb1 could significantly inhibit the high expression of tumor necrosis factor-α, interleukin-1β, interleukin-6, which were restored to the level of the control group, and there was a dose-dependent relationship between the low and high-dose groups( P<0.05). The results of enzyme coupling method showed that creatine kinase, creatine kinase isoenzyme-MB, lactate dehydrogenase, α-hydroxybutyrate dehydrogenase, and aspartate aminotrasferase in Rb1 high-dose group were restored to the level in control group, and there was a dose-dependent relationship between low and high-dose group( P<0.05). At the same time, compared with model group, Rb1 high-dose group significantly down regulated the expression level of cardiac troponin I( P<0.05). Western blot results showed that, compared with the model group, Rb1 significantly increased the relative expression levels of p-JAK2/JAK2, p-STAT3/STAT3 and B-cell lymphoma-2(Bcl-2)/β-actin, and significantly decreased the expression levels of Cleaved caspase-3/β-actin in a dose-dependent manner( P<0.05). Conclusion:Ginsenoside Rb1 can effectively reduce the myocardial injury induced by Kawasaki disease mice.The high-dose group of Rb1 can recover to the level of the control group, and the curative effect is related to the dosage of Rb1.Ginsenoside Rb1 may activate JAK2/STAT3/Bcl-2 signaling pathway, thus down regulate the expression of Cleaved caspase-3, and inhibit cardiomyocyte apoptosis and inflammation.
