Objective To investigate the expression of Fas/FasL in children with aplastic anemia(AA) and its clinical significance. To explore the pathogenesis of AA.Methods CD34+ cell counts and the expression of Fas/FasL in 12 children with severe AA(SAA),18 with chronic AA(CAA)and 10 normal children were detected by flow cytometry combining monocolon antibody. Results The expression of Fas in children with AA were significantly higher than that in control group(P0.05).Conclusions Fas/FasL systeam take part in inducing CD34+ cell apoptosis. This may contribute to understanding the decrease number of stem cells and bone marrow failure.

Objective To explore the anomalous expression of HDAC1 in cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN)and cervical carcinoma and its relationship with the infection of HPV16/18. Methods The expressions of HDAC1 protein and HDAC1 infection were detected by in situ hybridiza?tion(ISH)and immunohistochemistry staining(SP)in tissues from patient with chronic cervicitis(the chronic cervicitis group),CIN(the CINⅠgroup, the CINⅡgroup and the CINⅢgroup)and cervical squamous carcinoma(the cervical carcinoma group). Results The infection rate of HPV16/18 was 8.33%,34.78%,48.00%,65.21%,78.00%in patients with chronic cervicitis,CINⅠ,CINⅡ,CINⅢand cervical carcinoma re?spectively. There was significant difference between groups(P<0.05). The positive expression rate of HDAC1 was 0,13.04%,32.00%,47.82%and 76.00%in chronic cervicitis,CINⅠ,CINⅡ,CINⅢand cervical carcinoma, respectively. The differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). The positive expression of HDAC1 in the HPV16/18 infected patients was significantly higher than those uninfected with HPV16/18(P<0.05). The HDAC1 positive expression had no relationship with clinical stages of cervical carcinoma, however,it was related to the tissue differentia?tion, stromal invasion and pelvic lymph node metastasis(all P<0.05). Conclusion The infection of HPV16/18 may play an important role in the carcinongenesis of SCC through increasing the expression of HDAC1.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(23):-
Objective To summarize the treatment results, operative complications and experiences of laparoscopic modified pull-through(Soave)precedure.Methods Twenty children with Hirschsprung disease(HD),16 males and 4 females, with age from 3.5 months to 4 years old, underwent laparoscopic modified pull-through(Soave)precedure under whole anesthesia and tracheal intubation, and the pathological colon was freed by ultrasonic surgical knife. Results All cases were operated on successfully. The average operating time was 132 min.The average resection colon was 35 cm and the average volume of bleeding was about 14 mL without blood transfusion. Two patients had postoperative enterocolitis;3 patients were no complications postoperation, such as constipation, soiling, intestinal obstruction, preianal intestine prolapse or cuff narrowing, and all patients had 1-2 bowel movements per day during a period of 6 months to 3 years follow-up.Conclusion Laparoscopic modified pull-through(Soave)precedure has smaller incision, less bleeding, quick recovery and less complications.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(23):-
Objective To explore impact of high pulmonary blood flow on the content and metabolism of collagen in rats. Methods Thirty-two male SD rats were randomly divided into shunt group and control group.Rats in shunt group were subjected to an abdominal aorta-inferior vena cava shunt to create an animal model of high pulmonary blood flow.In control group, rats experienced the same expe-rimental processes except the shunting procedure. After 4 and 11 weeks of experiment, these changes of pulmonaryartery collagen Ⅰ,collagen Ⅲ,matrix metalloproteinase(MMP-13)and tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase(TIMP-1) protein expression of rat were investigated by immunohistochemistry. Results After 4 weeks and 11 weeks of shunt, the collagen Ⅰ,collagen Ⅲ,MMP-13 and TIMP-1 of pulmonary artery in rats of shunt group increased significantly compared with those of control group, respectively(all P
