Anaerobic ammonium oxidation(ANAMMOX)is a new process of nitrogen conversion that has prospect most currently. The AN- AMMOX process offers great opportunities to remove ammonia from wastewater without the addition of an external carbon source and with con- siderable less aeration costs in comparison with classical methods.ANAMMOX is a biologically mediated process.Three bacteria are identi- fied responsible for the process as new deep-branching planctomycete:Brocadia,Kuenenia and Scalindua.Described it to separate and the method, biochemistry path, the ecosystem physiology characteristic for authenticate and distribute.

Curcumae Rhizoma comes from Curcuma genus, functional breaking blood stasis, detumescence and acesodyne for treatment of Zhengjia accumulation, amenorrhea, traumatic injury and bruising pain.Modem pharmacological studies have shown that the main monomer composition of zedoary turmeric has a good anti-inflammatory and anti-tumor effects. The main monomer composition of zedoary turmeric copies of curcumol, beta etemene, curcumin anti-inflammatory anti-tumor mechanism of review, provide the basis for the further research progress and clinical application of zedoary turmeric.

Objective To study the characteristics of mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)derived from chronic myelogenous leukemia(CML)patients' bone marrow and examine their hematopoiesis support in vitro. Methods MSCs from CML were obtained and cultured.Immunophenotype and in vitro differentiation capacities were investigated. Moreover, the Ph chromosome and bcr/abl gene of CML derived MSCs were detected. The expression of cytokines was detected by RT-PCR,and hema- topoiesis support of MSCs in vitro was detected by long-term bone marrow culture and the methylcel- lulose progenitor assay. Results CML derived MSCs showed a typical fibroblast like morphology. They were positive for CD29,CD44 and CD105,while negative for CD14,CD31,CD45,CD34 and HLA-DR.Under suitable conditions,CML derived MSCs could differentiate into osteoblasts and adi- pocytes.Further,CML derived MSCs showed a normal choromosome, and did not express bcr/abl gene.At last, they expressed hematopoiesis cytokines and possessed ability of hematopoiesis support in vitro. Conclusion There are MSCs with multidirectional differentiation potential in CML bone mar- row and they possess the ability of hematopoiesis support.

AIM: To compare the visual acuity and contrast sensitivity of eyes with different corneal spherical aberration implanted with the same aspherical IOL and evaluate the effect of different ocular spherical aberration on visual performance after phacoemulsification.
METHODS:It was a prospective case series study. Forty-six eyes of thirty-nine age-related cataract patients in our department were included. The patients were divided into 3 groups according to the value of preoperative corneal spherical aberration. Eyes with corneal spherical aberration≤0. 2μm were assigned to group A, those with corneal spherical aberration >0. 2μm and ≤0. 3μm to group B, and those with corneal spherical aberration≥ 0. 3μm to group C. All patients underwent phacoemulcification and recieved AcrySof IQ aspheric IOL. Uncorrected visual acuity ( UCVA ) , best-corrected visual acuity( BCVA) , contrast sensitivity, and total ocular higher - order aberrations for a 6. 0mm pupil were recorded 3mo postoperatively. ANOVA were used to analyze the data.
RESULTS: There were no significant differences in UCVA and BCVA between the 3 groups (P=0. 287, 0. 115). Contrast sensitivity was no statistically significant difference between the 3 groups at any spatial frequency under photopic、 mesopic, and mesopic with glare conditions (P>0. 05). With a 6. 0mm pupil diameter, root mean square values for total ocular higher - order aberrations were lower in groups A and B than that in group C (P=0. 000). The difference of total ocular spherical aberration was statistically significant between the 3 groups (P=0. 000). Coma and trefoil were similar between the groups (P=0. 788,0. 590), with no statistically significant differences.CONCLUSION:Implantation of the same aspherical IOL in eyes with different corneal spherical aberration results in similar visual acuity and contrast sensitivity. Small differences of ocular spherical aberration after phacoemulsification have no effect on visual performance.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate the therapeutic effect of Liujunzi decoction combined with Zuojin pills in treating the radioactive duodenitis and their mechanism, and compare with clinical routine acid suppressants combined with mucous membrane protective preparations to study the mechanism of their efficacy.
METHODAccording to the study of Williams J P and characteristics of duodenitis, and by reference to the radiation enteritis modeling standard, we took the lead in establishing the mouse radioactive duodenal injury model. The model mice were randomly divided into the control group (n = 26), traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) group (n = 16) and the western medicine (oral administration with famotidine 0.5 mL + almagate suspension 0.3 mL per mouse, once a day) group (n = 16). After the standard administrating, such objective indexes as general condition, weight, changes in health score, pathology and expression of inflammatory factors were observed to evaluate the efficacy.
RESULTThe radioactive duodenitis model of mice was successfully established with 12 Gy. Mice in the control group suffered from weight loss, anorexia, low fluid intake, loose stools, and occasionally mucous bloody stool, poor spirit, dim fur, lack of exercise and arch back. Mice in drug intervention groups were generally better than those in the pure irradiation group. The IL-6, IL-1beta, TNF-alpha mRNA expressions in spleen and mesenteric lymph node tissues in TCM and western medicine groups showed a declining trend compared with the control group. Their concentrations in peripheral blood serum also slightly changed. The TCM group revealed notable advantage in reducing inflammatory factors. The microscopic observation showed that a better mucosa repair in intervention groups than the pure irradiation group. The improved Chiu's scoring method showed a statistical significance in the difference between TCM and western medicine groups (P < 0.05).
CONCLUSIONLiujunzi decoction combined with Zuojin pills could treat acute radiation enteritis, regulate organic immunity, and inhibit acute injury, promote local tissue repair, with the potential to resist such adverse effects as radiation intestinal fibrosis. The regulation of inflammatory factor release is one of efficacy generation mechanisms.

Objective To explore the relationship between age and refractive predictability of excimer laser in situ keratomileusis (LASIK)for the correction of myopia.Design Retrospective case series.Participants 362 patients(703 eyes)who had performed LASIK.Methods According to the age, patients were divided into four groups(≤30y,31~34y,35~39y and≥40y).Their preoperative and postoperative refractive powers examined with automatic refactor as well as manifest optometry were analysed and followed up from 6 months to 2 years.According to pre-operative refractive power, patietns were divided into low and moderate myopia group(≤-6.00D), high myopia group(-6.25~-12.00D)and super-high myopia group(≥-12.25D).The eyes with refractive power at post-operative 2 years≥-1.00D were regressive eyes.Main Outcome Measures Refractive error before surgery, intended residual refractive power and 3,6, 12, 24 months post-operative refractive powers. Results There were no significant differences between intended residual refractive powers and refractive powers at post-operative 6 month in 3 groups(
