Objective To explore the effects of ephedrine on the hippocampal cell apoptosis and behavioral performance after hypoxia-ischemia brain injury in neonatal rats. Methods Totally 90 7-day rats were randomly divided into 3 groups, ephedrine treatment group, model group, and sham group.Hypoxia-ischemia brain injury model was established by permanently ligating right common carotid artery.Ephedrine (1.5 mg/kg,once per day) was injected intraperitoneally to the rats of ephedrine treatment group for 7 d,and the rats of model group was given normal saline at the same volume. At the following time interval of 6 and 12 h,and 1,3,and 7 d after hypoxia, the expression of bcl-2 and bax were detected in the hippocampal region by immunohistochemical staining. At 4 weeks after surgery, behavioral changes in the remaining rats were tested by Morris water maze. Results Compared with model group, the expression of bcl-2 in the ephedrine treatment group was significantly increased after hypoxic-ischemic injury, peaked at 1 d and decreased in 3 d after operation. And the expression of bax in the ephedrine treatment group was decreased in 1 d after hypoxic-ischemia.The average time of escape latency was gradually decreased in each group. However, from the 3rd to 5th day,it was much shorter in ephedrine treatment group than in model group. In addition, the frequency platform passing in the ephedrine treatment group and the percentage of swimming distance traveled in the previous target quadrant was significantly greater than those of the control group. Conclusion Ephedrine upregulates bcl-2 and downregulates bax in the hippocampus of neonatal rats after hypoxia-ischemia,and improves their ability of learning and memory.

Objective To observe the changes of Endothelin,Tumor Necrosis Factor in different stress; and to explore the corelation between the changes of Endothelin,Tumor Necrosis Factor and the occurrence of stress-related gastric mucosal disease. Methods The models of the acute methamidophos poison and the acute myocardial infarction in rats were made. The gastric ulcer index was counted and the content of blood plasma Endothelin and blood serum Tumor Necrosis Factor were checked. Results Models of the acute methamidophos poison and the acute myocardial infarction in rats were set up successfully. The gastric ulcer index of rats in the stress groups increased. The blood plasma Endothelin and blood serum Tumor Necrosis Factor in the stress group were significantly higher than those in the control group. Conclusion The gastric mucosal disease under different stress was observed with the gastric mucosal ulcer index. The blood plasm Endothelin and blood serum Tumor Necrosis Factor under different stress were increased, suggesting they play an important role in this phenomenen.

Objective To explore the clinical, imaging and pathologic features of hypertrophic cranial pachymeningitis (HCP).Methods The clinical data of one HCP patient who treated in our hospital and other 77 HCP patients from literatures were analyzed retrospectively. Results The clinical manifestation of all the 78 HCP patients had chronic headache, multiple cranial nerves impairment. The secondary was psychiatric disorder(10.3%),ataxia(9.0%) and seizure disorder(6.4%).Hemiplegia,menorrhea and galactosis were found few.Headache was the first onset symptom in the 74 cases (94.9%).HCP was often misdiagnosed subarachnoid hemorrhage, hypotensive cranial pressure headache and cerebral venous sinus thrombosis in early stage.MRI demonstrated local or diffused thickened dura, especially in cerebral falx and/or tentorium of cerebellum, which could be enhanced through reinforced scanning.Pathological evidence indicated an obvious proliferation of dura fiber tissue accompanied with inflammatory cells infiltration.Corticosteroid was effective to all the cases. Conclusions The clinical manifestation of HCP was multiplicity, but it mainly was chronic headache and multiple cranial nerves impairment.MRI demonstrates local or diffused thickened dura especially in cerebral falx and/or tentorium of cerebellum.MRI has an important significance for diagnosis.

Objective To determine the effects of prostaglandin E_2 alone and the combination with omeprazole for poisoning related acute mucosal lesion. Methods Forty-two healthy SD rats were randomly divided into 7 groups: control group (control), methamidophos poisoning model group (intox), 10 mg/kg omeprazole group (ome1), 50 mg/kg omeprazole group (ome2), 10 μg/kg prostaglandin E_2 group (PG1), 50 μg/kg prostaglandin E_2 group (PG2), 10 μg/kg prostaglandin E_2 combined with 10 mg/ kg omeprazole group (union). The gastric ulcer index was counted and the content of serum cholinesterase, endothelin, and tumor necrosis factor were measured, and dependability was analyzed. Results There was no obvious difference between the prostaglandin group and the poisoning model group in gastric ulcer index, endothelin, and tumor necrosis factor. The omeprazole alone and the combination treatment could improve the acute gastric mucosa lesion induced by methamidophos poisoning. Conclusion Prostaglandin E_2 alone can not obviously improve the acute gastric mucosa lesion by methamidophos poisoning. The combination with omeprazole may be a promising treatment.

Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2006;0(05):-
Objective To observe clinical therapeutic effect of transcutaneous electrical point stimulation (TEPS) on scapulohumeral periarthritis of adhersion type. Methods Criteria of standardized diagnosis and assessment of therapeutic effects were adopted, various treatment parameters were fixed, and pain of shoulder and activity of shoulder joint were taken as observed indexes, TEPS and electroacupuncture (EA) were applied respectively in the treatment of 194 cases of scapulohumeral periarthritis of adhersion type. ResultsTEPS and EA had a similar good therapeutic effect, with the total effective rat 96.9% and 97.9% separately. TEPS could improve both pain index and activity of shoulder joint. Conclusion TEPS is a better therapy for scapulohumeral periarthritis of adhersion type, with ease of administration.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 2001;0(07):-
To assess the value of capsule endoscopy in digestive tract examination, the results of 10 healthy volunteers who received the whole digestive tract examination by capsule endoscopy were analyzed. The manipulation of capsule endoscopy was simple, the image was clear, and no side effect was found. Intestinal diseases could been diagnosed by capsule endoscopy, and the stomach could been partly observed. Capsule endoscopy is a best visual diagnostic tool of intestinal diseases, and can be used in clinic.

Objective To explore the influence of helicobacter pylori(Hp) on gastric motor function in children with chronic gastrictis. Methods Forty-seven children with chronic gastrictis were classified into Hp positive and negative groups according to Hp and histology exa-mination.Each child underwent gastric emptying test of solid by using nuclide method and electrogastrogram(EGG) examination. These cases with Hp-positive acceptted these triple eradication therapy[clarithromycin 15 mg/(kg?d),amoxicillin 50 mg/(kg?d),omeprazole 0.8 mg/(kg?d)]for 2 weeks, and underwent EGG examination again after eradicating Hp.Results The half emptying time(GET_1/2)in Hp-positive gastric group were significantly longer than those in Hp-negative group(t=6.403 P
