Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2016;36(1):78-80
Professor GAO Yuchun is considered as the key successor of GAO's academic school of acupuncture and moxibustion in Yanzhao region. Professor GAO's clinical experience of, "sequential acupuncture" is introduced in details in this article. In Professor GAO's opinions, appropriate acupuncture sequence is the key to satisfactory clinical effects during treatment. Based on different acupoints, sequential acupuncture can achieve the aim of qi following needles and needles leading qi; based on different symptoms, sequential acupuncture can regulate qi movement; based on different body positions, sequential acupuncture can harmonize qi-blood and reinforcing deficiency and reducing excess. In all, according to the differences of disease condition and constitution, based on the accurate acupoint selection and appropriate manipulation, it is essential to capture the nature of diseases and make the order of acupuncture, which can achieve the aim of regulating qi movement and reinforcing deficiency and reducing excess.

4.Influence of Environmental Temperature on Formaldehyde Emission from Blockboard
Xiao-Heng WANG ; Xing-Rong LIU ;
Journal of Environment and Health 2007;0(10):-
Objective To study the effect of temperature on the emission of tbrmaldehyde trom the blockboard.Methods A 0.25 m3 simulation chamber was used to explore the emission of formaldehyde from blockboard at the temperature of 15,17,19,21, 23,25,27,and 29 ℃,respectively.The relative humidity,the ventilation velocity and the loading factor in simulation chamber was (50?1)%,1.0 L/min,and(1?0.03)m~2/m~3 respectively.Results A hyperbolic logarithm variation in formaldehyde concentration with time in the chamber was observed at different temperatures.Formaldehyde concentration in the chamber increased remarkably once the temperature exceeded 25 C.The chamber stabilization formaldehyde concentration varied with temperature in accordance with an exponent equation of y=0.921 9?0.024 9e~(0.176 4x)(R~2=0.996 9).Conclusion The temperature can greatly influence formaldehyde emission from the blockboards.Higher temperature will facilitate formaldehyde emission from the blockboards.

Based on the theory of the rise and fall of qi-blood in meridians, Professor GAO Yu-chun harmonizes the qi-blood and yin-yang for diagnosis and treatment of hypertersion from liver, spleen and kidney. With reference of the academic idea of“Preventive Acupuncture”, he investigated the qi and blood, treated diseases in the upper part by managing the lower part, pay attention to the syndrome differentiation of excess and deficiency, the different of acupoint property, and the treatment of acupuncture or moxibustion. Thus, through balancing yin and yang, the qi and blood are regulated to reach the therapeutic aim of“yin and yang in equilibrium”.

This paper was aim to optimize the purification technology of Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata extract with macroporous adsorption resin. With the content of manninotriose as index, the absorptive flow and time were investigated, as well as kinds, amount, flow of eluent. D-101 type macroporous adsorption resin was the best choice for the purification of manninotriose. The optimized parameters were as follows: the content of manninotriose at 161.16-53.72 mg x g(-1), absorption time 240 min, eluting solvent of purified water, volume flow at 1.5 BV x h(-1), and eluant volume at 6 BV. D-101 type macroporous adsorption resin could significantly increase the purity of Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata extract with the advantage of high absorption, remove most part of impurity, and the effect of semi-works production was better.

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2013;38(23):4015-4019
Recent years, the pathogenesis of hypertension in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has been changed. Kidney-deficiency has become the key of modern pathogenesis, and the new problem of treating hypertension. It has become the new strategy for treating hypertension with kidney-nourishing herbal medicine. This article reviewed the clinical and experimental researches of kidney-nourishing herbal medicine, including single herb, herbal formulae and traditional Chinese patent medicine, in order to strengthen the evidence of kidney-nourishing herbal medicine for treating hypertension.

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2014;39(2):157-161
This article is to overview the literature of syndrome differentiation of traditional Chinese medicine on hypertension. According to the theory of disease in combination with syndrome, we concluded syndrome types of hypertension in four aspects, including national standards, industry standards, teaching standards and personal experience. Meanwhile, in order to provide new methods and approaches for normalized research, we integrated modern testing methods and statistical methods to analyze syndrome differentiation for the treatment of hypertension.
