BACKGROUNDRoutine anteroposterior radiographs of the acromioclavicular (AC) joint with or without weight bearing have limitations in demonstrating the AC joint. Transarticular fixation with Kirschner wire is a treatment choice for AC dislocations. However, percutaneous fixation of the AC joint is technically demanding. The C-arm fluoroscopy can be used as routine intraoperative guidance to facilitate this procedure. The current study aims to introduce new projections, the axial and tangential views of AC joint, to help evaluate the severity of the injury and facilitate the percutaneous procedure.
METHODSThree shoulder specimens were used to find the projection directions of the axial and tangential views of the AC joint by using the digital radiography (DR) unit. The axial and tangential views were taken of 20 adult volunteers by referencing the projection directions determined in the shoulder specimens. The angles showed on the DR system and the angles between the coronal plane of the body and the vertical plane of the flat panel detector (FPD) during taking these radiographs were recorded. The C-arm fluoroscopy unit was used to take the axial and tangential views referencing the angles measured on the DR system. Routine anteroposterior radiographs of the AC joint were taken on the volunteers. The minimal distances from the distal clavicle to the acromion were measured on both tangential and anteroposterior radiographs. The data was statistically analyzed.
RESULTSThe clear axial and tangential radiographs of AC joints of the volunteers were obtained using both DR and C-arm fluoroscopy units. The angles demonstrated on the DR window are (20.8 ± 2.4)° for male and (18.3 ± 2.3)° for female. During taking the axial views, the angles between the coronal plane of the body and vertical plane of FPD are (23.3 ± 3.2)° for male and (20.1 ± 2.4)° for female. During taking tangential views, the corresponding angles are (117.5 ± 3.7)° for male and (113.1 ± 3.3)° for female. On the tangential radiographs, the minimal distance from the distal clavicle to the acromion is (6.1 ± 1.2) mm, wider than the same measurement on the anteroposterior radiographs (P < 0.05). Statistical analyses showed no significant differences in the above-mentioned angles and the minimal distances between the left and right AC joints (P > 0.05). There were no significant differences in the above-mentioned angles between DR and C-arm fluoroscopy units (P > 0.05).
CONCLUSIONSThe axial and tangential radiographs of the AC joint can demonstrate the joint clearly and they can be easily obtained with both DR system and C-arm fluoroscopy unit in similar projection directions.

Objective:To explore the clinical effects of Xingshen Tongqiao Huoxue decoction in the treatment of dysphagia caused by cricopharyngeal achalasia (CPA) after cerebral infarction and its influence on neurotransmitters. Method:One hundred and fourteen eligible patients were randomly divided into a control group (56 cases) and a treatment group (58 cases). Patients in both groups received balloon catheter dilatation and rehabilitation training. In the observation group, the Tiandan Tongluo capsules were further orally taken, five capsales per time, three times per day. In the control group, the Xingshen Tongqiao Huoxue decoction was provided, one dose per day. The treatment lasted for four weeks. Following the videofluoroscopic swallow study (VFSS) and water-swallowing test (WST) before and after treatment, the swallowing quality of life questionnaire (SWAL-QOL), functional oral intake scale (FOIS) and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) scores were calculated. The serum brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), substance P (SP), dopamine (DA), 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) and nerve growth factor (NGF) levels before and after treatment were detected, and the complications were recorded. Result:The clinical efficacy of the treatment group was superior to that of the control group (

The entire S1 protein gene of five infectious bronchitis (IB) vaccine strains (JAAS, IBN, Jilin, J9, H120) used in China were compared with that of the IB field isolate CK/CH/LDL/97 I present in China. The nucleotide and deduced amino acid similarities between the five IB vaccine strains and the field strain, CK/CH/LDL/97 I, were not more than 76.4% and 78.7%, respectively. Phylogenetic analysis based on the S1 gene showed that the vaccine strains and the field strain belonged to different clusters and had larger evolutionary distances, indicating that they were of different genotypes. The five vaccine strains were used for protection test against challenge of the field isolate CK/CH/LDL/97 I. The chickens inoculated with five vaccine strains showed morbidity as high as 30%-100% after challenged with the CK/CH/ LDL/97 I strain. The organ samples at 5 days post challenge showed that the viral detection rates were 50%-90% and 10%-30% for trachea and kidney, respectively. The live attenuated vaccines only provided partial protection to the vaccinated chickens against heterologous IBV infection, CK/CH/LDL/97 I.

At present,China has issued a series of standards relating to traditional Chinese medicine(TCM). The standard system has already taken shape, but there are still some problems, such as incomplete standard system, low standard quality, inadequate application, insufficient study strength and lack of talent. This paper makes a detailed analysis of current management and development of standardization of traditional Chinese medicine in the aspects of " management mechanism and system construction" and " standards".The problems existing in the standardization of TCM are analyzed in three aspects: quality and popularization, standard research and talent reserve. At the same time, some suggestions are put forward to solve the problems. First,we shall strengthen the management of top-level design; second,we shall guide the transformation of high-quality scientific and technological achievements to standards;third,we shall consolidate the basic research of standardization of TCM; fourth,we shall focus on cultivating standardized technical talents; and fifth,we shall strengthen the standard research and development work in key fields.

【Objective】 To establish gas chromatography for the determination of tributyl phosphate(TBP) residues in human prothrombin complex and then verify it. 【Methods】 Acid modified polyethylene glycol(PEG)(20M) capillary column was used with n-hexane as solvent. The chromatographic parameters were as follows: gasification chamber temperature at 220 ℃, column temperature at 155 ℃, detector temperature at 220 ℃, column flow rate at 2.0 mL/min, carrier gas as N2, detector as FID, and collection time for 10min. The accuracy, repeatability, linearity, specificity, intermediate precision, detection limit, quantitative limit, range and durability were verified. 【Results】 The verification results showed that the method had good specificity. The linear regression correlation coefficient of standard curve was 0.999 90. The recovery rate were 98.4%, 97.5% and 95.7% when the concentration at 50%, 100%(30μg/mL) and 150%, respectively, with an average recovery of 97.2% and a relative deviation of 2.15%. When the concentration was 100%, the repeatability was 2.08%, and the relative deviation of intermediate precision was 1.63%. The detection limit was 0.255 μg/mL, and the quantitative limit was 0.511 μg/mL. After changing capillary chromatographic columns with different batch numbers but the same types and manufacturer, the applicability test of the system met the requirements, and the method had good durability. 【Conclusion】 This method can be used for the determination of TBP residues of human prothrombin complex in laboratory.
