Objective To observe the effect of vinpocetine on monoamine transmitters in cerebral of poststroke depression (PSD)rats and to investigate the mechanism of pharmacotherapeutics on PSD. Methods Rats were divided randomly into the sham-operated group, the normal saline group, the low dose of vinpocetine group and the high dose of vinpocetine group. Giving the left middle cerebral artery occlusion, the PSD rat model was established by unexpected chronic mild stress. When the PSD rat model was established, vinpocetine group was given vinpocetine(5mg/kg, 10mg/kg) and the normal saline group was given normal saline. Then the ethological score of depression was evaluated on 14 and 28 days. The monoamine transmitter in the frontal cortex and hippocampus and brainstem were detected by the fluorospectrophotometry. Results On the 28th day after the model establishment, compared with the normal saline group, the ethological score of depression level was decreased obviously. Compared with the normal saline group, vinpocetine could improve the ethological score of depression level of the PSD rat model, and these concentrations of 5-hydoxytrypatarmine ( 5-HT), noradrenalin ( NE ) and dopamine ( DA ) in the frontal cortex, hippocampus and brainstem. The level of NE ( ( 192.4 ± 34.8 ) ng/g, ( 206. 0 ± 41.7 ) ng/g,(91.1 ±23.0) ng/g] ,5-HT( (494. 1 ± 50.7) ng/g, (599.7 ± 39.2) ng/g, (541.7 ± 62.6) ng/g) and DA ( ( 298.6 ± 32.6) ng/g, ( 297.0 ± 38.1 ) ng/g, ( 85.9 ± 24.3 ) ng/g) in the high dose of vinpocetine group were significantly higher than that in the normal saline group ( NE (92.4 ± 17.5 ) ng/g, ( 131.4 ± 34.8 ) ng/g, (49.0 ±13.6)ng/g;5-HT(367.8 ±87.3) ng/g,(498.7 ± 79.6) ng/g, (320.4 ±59.4) ng/g; DA( 106.1 ±23.0)ng/g,(97.0 ±21.7)ng/g, (50.4 ± 13.8 )ng/g)(P < 0.01 ). There were increased obviously by the high dose than the low dose of vinpocetine group. Conclusion Vinpocetine could treat PSD by increasing the level of monoamine transmitters in PSD rats' brain.

ObjectiveTo observe the effect of vinpocetine sustained-release capsules on post-stroke depression and recovery of neurological function. MethodsA total of 64 patients with acute post-stroke depression were randomly divided into Vinpocetine sustained-release capsules group( 34 cases) and control group(30 cases). Conventional therapy was given to both groups. To the treatment group, vinpocetine sustained-release capsules was given at the same time. Depression status was assessed with Hamilton Rating Depression Scale(HAMD). Meanwhile ,Mimi-Mental State Examination( MMSE), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS) and Activities of Daily Living(ADL)were given in to both groups. ResultsAfter 6 to 12 weeks' therapy, the total score of HAMD, NIHSS and ADL of Vinpoeetine group were significantly lower than the control group ( all P < 0.05 ), MMSE score increased significantly ( P < 0.05 ) in Vinpocetine group. The curative rate and effective rate of Vinpocetine group were 38% and 91%. It was significantly higher than the 20% and 73% of the control group ( all P < 0.05 ). ConclusionVinpocetine sustainedrelease capsules was effective to treat post-stroke depression. It could improve the emotional state of patients and promote the recovery of neurological function.

Objective To study the influence factor of recurrence in breast cancer. Methods The grouping treatment and tumor by stages, tumor transfer were observed in 105 cases with primary breast cancer. Results Among 105 patients, the inside of 2 years relapse was 47.6%(50/105);Tumor Ⅱ period recurrence rate was 40.0%(10/25),Ⅲ period recurrence rate was 28.0%(7/25);Among 105 cases, the distant place transfer to recurrence rate was 31.4%(33/105);Among 105 patients for surgical operation, its relapsing rate was 40.0%,but in 25 cases after operation putting radiation treatment, relapse rate was 16.0%;The part recurrence rate totally was 58.0%(61/105),among them the chest wall recurrence rate was 13.3%(14/105);The supraclavilar lymphonodes transfer was 20.9%(22/105),the axlla lymphnides transfer was 23.8%(25/105);The distant place transfer was 31.4%(33/105).Conclusion The recurrence rate of association treatment obviously is lower than that pure surgical operation, the relapsing of tumor with tumor by stages and transfer relevanted.

Objective To explore the effrciency of intra-arterial neoadjuvant chemotherapy before radical excision in patients with cervical cancer. Methods 50 cases with cervical cancer were enrolled into the study and were treated with a 2~3 course of intra-arterial neoadjuvant chemotherapy immediately after the pathological diagnosis. The regime included Then radical excision was performed in those who were good for the operation. Results Complete recovery(CR) was acquired in 12 patients and partial recovery(PR) in 26 patients. The total response rate was 76.0 %.The tumor size reduced significantly(P

Objective:To construct the Helicobacter pylori infected C57BL/6 mice model to observe the activation of NOD1/NF-κB signaling pathways in the gastric tissues, and study its roles in inflammatory response during Hp infection.Methods:6-8 week-old C57BL/6 mice were randomly divided into two groups, the Hp infection group and the control group, and mice were given by gavage every 48 h for five times with Hp or PBS,respectively. All the animals were sacrificed at different time point and the gastric tissue were stained with hematoxylin-eosin( HE);The mRNA expression of NOD1 and RIP2 in gastric tissues were examined by RT-PCR;Levels of IFN-βand IP-10 in mice serum were assessed by ELISA;Nuclear translocation of p65 in gastric tissue was detected by Western blot. Results:Hp infection elicits an inflammatory cell response, glands in gastric tissue were reduced or atrophic,as compared with that in the control group. The levels of IP-10 and IFN-βincreased in the model group, and peaked at 16 weeks after Hp infection.Hp infection increased the mRNA expression of NOD1 and the p65 content in nuclear between 24-120 h(P<0.05),and the highest level at 48 h,subsequently the expression levels were began to decrease. The mRNA expression level of RIP2 was up-regulated after Hp was administrated, peaked at 48 h and declined after 72 h.However, the expression levels would rise again at 120 h.Conclusion: Hp infection can activate the NOD1/NF-κB signaling pathways and induce the production of IFN-βand IP-10 in gastrics of mice.

10.Sheng's acupuncture manipulation at bone-nearby acupoints and the academic thoughts.
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2014;34(11):1111-1113
Sheng's acupuncture manipulation at bone-nearby acupoints is a set of needling manipulation of the chief physician of TCM, SHENG Xie-sun, summarized through his over 50 years clinical experiences and on the basis of Internal Classic. Regarding this manipulation, on the premise of acupoint selection based on syndrome differentiation, the acupoints close to bone are possibly selected and punctured, with the needle tip toward bone edge, and followed by the technique to achieve reducing purpose. Clinically, the significant immediate analgesia can be achieved in pain disorders such as headache and toothache. Professor Sheng thought, corresponding to the location of needle insertion and needling depth, the tissue layers of needle tip passing through should be considered specially. The site of needle insertion should be changeable so as to ensure the needle tip reaching the bone. This manipulation for analgesia provides a certain guide for acupuncture study, especially for the mechanism study on acupuncture analgesia.
