Objective To investigate the association of two functional polymorphisms of tryptophan hydroxylase 2(THP2) gene,rs4570625 and rs4565946,with poststroke anxiety disorders. Methods Totally 112 poststroke anxiety patients and 246 non-anxious stroke controls were included and completed Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale.DNA was extracted from blood and genotyped for the two polymorphisms of THP2 gene by polymorphism chain reaction. Results The G allele of rs4570625 was associated with the increased risk of poststroke anxiety. Both the GG genotype and G allele were observed to be significantly higher in female case than in control. No significant difference in genotype and allele firequencies of the rs4565946 was found among the groups.Patients with the G-C haplotype had significantly increased the risk of poststroke anxiety compared to controls. Conclusions Our findings suggest that these ftmctional polymorphisms in TPH2 gene may be involved in development of poststroke anxiety.

Objectives To observe the changes of magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) during the course of treatment in hepatolen-ticular degeneration (HLD) and to evaluate its related factors. Methods Sixty - three patients with HLD received routine SE sequence MRI of brain and liver.Twenty - two patients with abnormal MRI in 42 patients and each of them had 2-4 times of serial MRI ex-aminations at interval of 1.0- 1.5 year. Results Ten patients had lesion in both brain and liver in 22 patients. Nine patients only in brain, 3 patients in liver. The major lesions disappear or decrease after rational treatments. There were only slight or no changes of MRI abnormalities in patients receiving treatments or age of patients was over 15 year old. Abnormal MRI findings shown again after stopped treatments over 2 months. In such cases, the clinical and MRI improvements were slow. The rate of clinical and MRI improvement in patients with adequate treatment were markedly higher than patients with inadequate treatment. Conclusions Liver and brain lesion will show in MRI disappear after adequate treatment; There are only slight or no change or showing again in MRI abnormalities in pa-tients with inadequate treatments compared with poor clinical improvement. MRI is beneficial to understanding therapeutic effect and prognosis of HLD.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1986;0(02):-
To report a boy with reflex seizures induced by micturition. He suffered from seizures during micturition for four yesrs. The clinical symptoms consisted of head backwards, limbs dithering, sometimes accompanying tumble.During the episodes of the seizure, his consciousness did not lose.Few seizures showed only eyes up-staring for several seconds. The livelong process of micturition was often interrupted by seizures for several times. When he finished or stoped micturition, the seizures did not occur again. His seizures could not be induced by free of micturition or other stimulative factors. The interictal EEGs showed that background asymmetry manifested as the lower amplitude and irregular rhythm in the left hemisphere, sharp or sharp and waves in right hemisphere, especially mid and back temporal. There also had sharp, spike, and spike and waves in many regions of double spheres in interictal EEGs.The other assistant check-ups were normal.while this disease was infrenquncy,it would be worthy to regard.

220.6 ?mol/L in serums. Conclusions TORCH infection is common in infantile hepatitis in hospital. The infection rates caused by CMV are higher than those caused by HSV,TOX,RV and the rate caused by TOX is lower than others, and then the injury of liver caused by CMV is more severe than others.Neonates less than 7 days always have more organs injuried than the elders.

Objective Human sperm hyaluronidase in the acrosome is a key enzyme during fertilization. To study and establish a modified substrate film method to improve the diagnotic and treatment of male infertility and investigate the influence of sperm hyaluronidase on male fertility. Methods According to the biochemical feature of sperm hyaluronidase that can dissolve the hyaluronic acid in matrixes, the modified sodium hyaluronate-Gelatin membrane was used as substrate to demonstrate the sperm hyaluronidase activity by incubation and staining.70 human semen samples were selected, categorized and detected for hyaluronidase activity according to the resuh of routine clinical semen examination. The average sperm hyaluronidase activity was statistically anyliezed between the fertile group and infertile group. Results Under general light microscope, the clear and bright digestion circle around the sperm head can be observed against the background of deep purple-blue stained substrate at the positive-reaction area. The amounts of positive reaction and the diameter of the bright circle are positively related to the activity of sperm hyaluronidase. The average hyaluronidase reaction rate and diameter of normal fertile group were 70.84% and 78.17 ?m;What about the infertile group A were 60.02% and 76.92 ?m;The infertile group B were 29.11% and 8.22 ?m; There was statistical difference of HYD activity between the infertile group.B and the fertile group(P

Dingzhi Xiaowan is a widely used traditional Chinese medicine in treating depression, which is a similar formula of Kaixinsan. In this research, a rapid ultra-performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry (UPLC-Q-TOF/MS(E)) method was established to analyze the metabolites of Dingzhi Xiaowan in depressive model rat plasma, bile, urine and feces. After we established Chronic unpredictable mild stress (CUMS) model rats and orally administrated Dingzhi Xiaowan, rat plasma, bile, urine and feces samples were collected and prepared. Using Waters Cortects UPLC C18 column (2.1 mm x 50 mm, 1.6 μm), acetonitrile-0.1% formic acid mobile phase gradient, these samples were analyzed and 33 metabolites of nine bioactive compounds were detected and tentatively identified by Metabolynx. Among the 33 metabolites, three metabolites were identified from plasma sample, three came from bile sample, and 27 metabolites were identified from urine and feces samples. This approach provided a rapid method for characterizing the metabolites of Dingzhi Xiaowan and gave the truly active structures and the action mechanism of their antidepressant effects.

10.Clinical application of the penetrating needling technique from Yemen (TE 2) to Zhongzhu (TE 3).
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2012;32(3):264-266
The penetrating technique of acupuncture from Yemen (TE 2) to Zhongzhu (TE 3) acts on the extraordinary effect of promoting Shaoyang meridian qi. The technique is specially good for heat pattern/syndrome of the triple energizer and it is commonly used in the treatment of common cold, high fever, anhidrosis in heat pattern/syndrome, migraine, redness, swelling and pain of the eye, tinnitus, ear pain, swelling and pain of the teeth, ulcers in the mouth and tongue, sore throat, neck rigidity, etc. In the manipulation, the needle is inserted from Yemen (TE 2), going obliquely upward along the metacarpal interspace to Zhongzhu (TE 3). With this technique, the Ying-spring and Shu-stream acupoints can be stimulated simultaneously with one needle. This method is characterized as less acupoints, exquisite needling, strong sensation, easy and safe manipulation, remarkable immediate effect and high curative rate of single treatment. Hence, it is worthy of application in clinical practice.
