Objective To understand antimicrobial resistance of Enterobacteriaceae strains and distribution charac-teristics of carbapenemase-resistant Enterobacteriaceae(CRE)in Xijing Hospital in 2015,so as to provide basis for rational use of antimicrobial agents in clinic. Methods Specimens from infected inpatients and outpatients in Xijing Hospital in January-December 2015 were performed pathogenic culture, isolation and identification. Antimicrobial susceptibility testing was performed with Kirby-Bauer method, carbapenemase confirmatory test was conducted with modified Hodge test, antimicrobial resistance of Enterobacteriaceae was statistically analyzed. Results A total of 4166 pathogenic strains were isolated in 2015,1554 (37.30% )of which were Enterobacteriaceae strains, the top 5 isolated pathogens were Escherichiacoli(E. coli),Klebsiella pneumoniae(K. pneumoniae),Enterobactercloacae (E. cloacae),Proteusmirabilis, and Enterobacteraerogenes. Of 787 E. coli strains,581(73.82% )were extend-ed-spectrumβ-lactamases(ESBLs)-producing strains;of 367 K. pneumoniae strains,182 (49.59% )were ESBLs-producing strains. E. coli and K. pneumoniae had the highest resistance rates to cefazolin, which were 93.14% and 78.48% respectively. A total of 81 (5.21% )CRE were detected,K. pneumoniae,E. cloacae, and E. coli were 41 ,27,and 13 strains respectively;strains were mainly isolated from patients in departments of neurosurgery(n=42),gastroenterology(n= 9),and neurology(n= 8). 1.02% (8/787)of E. coli and 3.27% (12/367)of K. pneu-moniae were multidrug-resistant. Conclusion Enterobacteriaceae accounted for a higher proportion of pathogenic bacteria causing HAI,the detection rate of ESBLs-producing strains remains high, the isolation rate of carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae is higher than that of last year, especially K. pneumoniae.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1983;0(05):-
The infectivity of asymptomatic HBsAg carriers' blood was studied in 36 recipients.Their positive rate of anti-HBs was 56.2% before transfusion. After transfusion hepatitis B developed in 2 recipients and SGPT became abnormal in 4(11.1%) of the 36 recipients. The anti-HBs became positive in 83.3% (10/12). The incidence of hepatitis B among blood recipients was lower than that of Western Europe and North America, but similar to that in Southeast Asia. The overall infection rate of HBV was higher than that of the other localities. The infectivity of asymptomatic HBsAg carriers' blood correlated well with the titer of HBsAg. There was no apparent changes in the titer of HBsAg in all the 3 recipients with positive HBsAg before transfusion. No new HBsAg carriers developed in 36 recipients.

OBJECTIVETo establish a model by using zebrafish for the inner ear development and disease research, to explore the possibility of complete dissection of inner ear neuroepithelium in zebrafish by surface preparation of inner ear maculae.
METHODSThe inner ear samples of zebra fish were fixed followed by harvesting. After decalcified and dehydrated, the coronal cryosections were made at 3 µm thickness at -23°C using cryostat, the hematoxylin and eosin staining and immunofluorescence and histochemistry staining were performed, the saccules, utricles and lagenaes were successfully obtained by fine dissection. The sensory maculae were mounted on glass and then were stained.
RESULTSAfter hematoxylin and eosin staining and immunofluorescence and histochemistry staining of cryosections, the sensory maculae of inner ear could be determined by otoliths. On the basis of distinguish of otoliths, the sensory maculae of inner ear could be finely dissected, the overall integrity of the sensory maculae could be preserved completely. After immunofluorescence and histochemistry staining, intact epithelia with strong hair cell bundle staining could be seen.
CONCLUSIONSThe neuroepithelium hair cell examination of zebra fish can be entirely attained by surface preparation of inner ear maculae.

OBJECTIVETo observe application value of multispectral animal living imaging technology in rats model of osteoarthritis.
METHODSFifteen male SD rats weighed (180 +/- 20) g (3 months old) were received intra-articular injection of iodoacetic acid for establishing osteoarthritis. Articular cavity of left knee of rats were injected into 50 microl iodoacetic acid. The same volume of sterile saline was injected into right knee articular cavity as control. X-ray living imaging and bone mineral density were observed at 2 and 4 weeks after establishment of model. After 4 weeks, rats were sacrificed and their bilateral joints were collected and determined histologically based on Collins classification and Kellgren-Lawrence classification.
RESULTSOsteoarthritis model was successfully established, compared with control group, model group showed typical manifestation of osteoarthritis, including irregular cartilage surface, osteophyte formation, joint deformity and cartilage defect, and combined with significant decrease of bone density (P < 0.01), while the decrease was not obvious in proximal tibia (P < 0.05). After 2 weeks, knee joints in model group was classified as Collins grade 1 and Kellgren-Lawrence grade 2,then classified as Collins grade 4 and Kellgren-Lawrence grade 3 after 4 weeks, control group showed smooth articular surface, normal joint space and intact cartilage surface, knee joints was classified as Collins and Kellgren-Lawrence grade 0, and bone density of distal femur and proximal tibia were normal.
CONCLUSIONMultispectral animal living imaging technology could be used in dynamic observation of living imaging and detection of bone density in the animal model of osteoarthritis, and it is significant for evaluation of osteoarthritis model, and its realted tesearch.

10.Comparison of straight wire appliance versus edgewise appliance in orthodontic treatment outcome.
West China Journal of Stomatology 2006;24(2):135-137
OBJECTIVETo investigate the difference between straight wire appliance and edgewise appliance treatment outcome.
METHODS80 cases finished with two-arch straight wire or edgewise appliance between 1994 and 2001 were selected. The PAR index on pre- and post-treatment dental casts and PAR score was recorded respectively. According to the same pre-treatment PAR score and extraction pattern, the samples were divided into two groups, straight wire group and edgewise group, and each group had 40 cases. The data were analyzed statistically.
RESULTSEstimated with the post-treatment PAR score of posterior teeth alignment, the treatment with straight wire appliance was lower than that with edgewise appliance (P < 0.01). There was no statistical difference in other recorded PAR score between two groups. For the mean treatment duration, straight wire appliance (3.95 months) was shorter than edgewise appliance.
CONCLUSIONAs for the posterior teeth alignment, the straight wire appliance was more accurate, and the straight wire appliance was more efficient than edgewise appliance.
