Objective To determine if the shortened exposure of oocytes to sperm can influence the insemination rate and the results of IVF-ET. Methods A total of 217 women were included.They were divided into study group (105 cases) and control group (112 cases). In study group the shortened insemination was used.The oocytes were washed 2 hours after the insemination and transferred into the fresh medium.In control group the classical procedure was used.The oocytes were inseminated by ICSI.The number of retrieved oocytes,fertilized oocytes,the number of embryos were counted and the pregnancy rate was evaluated. Results There was no statistically significant difference between the study and control group in the number of retrieved oocytes (1163 vs 1752),number of embryos (1084 vs 1097),and pregnancy rate ( 42.9% vs 42.9%). Conclusions The shortened exposure of oocytes to sperm is a simple and effective way in IVF-ET.

Objective To evaluate the effects of hydrogen-rich saline on chronic inflammatory pain in rats.Methods Thirty-two male Sprague-Dawley rats,aged 8-10 weeks,weighing 200-250 g,were randomly divided into 4 groups (n =8 each) using a random number table:control group (group C);complete Freund's adjuvant (CFA) group;hydrogen-rich saline group (group H2);CFA + hydrogenrich saline group (CFA+H2 group).Chronic inflammatory pain was induced by injecting CFA 100 μl into the plantar surface of the left hindpaw in CFA and CFA + H2 groups.In H2 and CFA + H2 groups,0.6 mmol/L hydrogen-rich saline 5 ml/kg was injected intraperitoneally once a day for 7 consecutive days starting from 1 day after injection of CFA,while the equal volume of normal salinc was given instead of hydrogen-rich saline in C and CFA groups.The mechanical paw withdrawal threshold (MWT) and thermal paw withdrawal latency (TWL) were measured at 1 day before CFA injection and 1,3 and 7 days after CFA injection.The rats were sacrificed after the last measurement of pain threshold on day 7 after CFA injection.The left lumbar segments (L4 5) of the spinal cord were removed for determination of nuclear factor E2-related factor 2 (Nrf2) and heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) expression by Western blot.Results Compared with C group,no significant change was found in the MWT,TWL and expression of Nrf2 and HO-1 in H2 group,and the MWT was significantly decreased,the TWL was shortened,and the expression of Nrf2 and HO-1 was up-regulated in CFA and CFA+H2 groups.Compared with CFA group,the MWT was significantly increased,the TWL was prolonged,and the expression of Nrf2 and HO-1 was up-regulated in CFA+H2 group.Conclusion Hydrogen-rich saline can alleviate chronic inflammatory pain in rats,and activation of Nrf2/ARE signaling pathway in the spinal cord is involved in the mechanism.

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Zheng's Jin Gou Diao Yu (gold-hook-fishing) acupuncture method versus ordinary acupuncture on superficial fascia for treating neck type cervical spondylopathy in Kyrgyz. Methods:A total of 64 Kyrgyz patients conforming to the diagnostic criteria of neck type cervical spondylopathy were included. The patients were randomized into a Zheng's Jin Gou Diao Yu (gold-hook-fishing) acupuncture group and a conventional acupuncture group, with 32 cases in each group. Patients in the Zheng's Jin Gou Diao Yu (gold-hook-fishing) acupuncture group were treated with Zheng's Jin Gou Diao Yu (gold-hook-fishing) acupuncture method to stimulate the superficial fascia, the stimulation sites were primarily located at bilateral sides of the cervical vertebra as well as the trigger points in shoulder-neck region; patients in the conventional acupuncture group were punctured at the same acupoints, with twirling reducing method, and the depth of insertion was determined by the treated region. Patients in both groups received treatment every day for a succession of 5 d as a course, with a 2-day interval between 2 courses, and the whole treatment lasted for 3 courses. After 3 courses of treatment, the McGill pain questionnaire (MPQ) and neck disability index (NDI) were measured to compare the clinical effect between the two groups. Results: After treatment, scores of MPQ and NDI scale dropped when compared with those before treatment, and the differences showed statistical significance (allP<0.05); scores of MPQ and NDI in the Jin Gou Diao Yu (gold-hook-fishing) acupuncture group were substantially lower than those in the conventional acupuncture group, and the differences showed statistical significance (allP<0.05). The total effective rate was 96.9％ in the Jin Gou Diao Yu (gold-hook-fishing) acupuncture group and the cured rate was 78.1％, which were higher than 81.3％ and 40.6％ in the conventional acupuncture group, and the differences showed statistical significance (bothP<0.05). Conclusion: Zheng's Jin Gou Diao Yu (gold-hook-fishing) acupuncture method by stimulating superficial fascia to treat cervical spondylopathy in Kyrgyz can produce a better clinical effect than conventional acupuncture treatment, and is effective in improving pain and stiffness in patients, and thus is worth clinical popularization.

Objective ST-T complex change, which represents the ventricle repolarization phase, is the main clinical indicator in detecting myocardial ischemia (MI) based on electrocardiogram (ECG) signals.However, its feature point location is not accurate due to interferences. In this paper, a new approach about myocardial ischemia analysis was proposed based on QRS complex. Methods QRS complex, representing the ventricle depolarization process, was used to analyze myocardial ischemia, and some parameters were extracted synthetically in time domain. Then they were used for statistical analysis of myocardial ischemia states and non-myocardial ischemia states. Results Five parameters had significant differences after verification of Non-MI signals in MIT-BIH database and MI signals in long-term ST database (LTST) and they were: QRS upward and downward slopes, transient heart rate, R angle and Q angle in a triangle QRS. Conclusion Five parameters extracted from QRS complex had significant differences. The proposed method provides an important basis for myocardial ischemia detection.

Objective To study the hemoprotective effects of a rotary magnetic field(RMF)with radiation- injured mice.Methods C57 BL6/J mice were randomly divided into a control group and a magnetic treatment group.The mice received total body irradiation with 7.0 Gy and 6.5 Gy ~(137)Cs?rays.The treatment group was trea- ted with a RMF for one hour at a time,twice a day.The intensity of the RMF was 0.6T.The survival rate was ob- served for 30 days.On day 7,10,14,21,28 after irradiation,the subjects' peripheral blood cells were counted.On day 12 and 16,the number of bone marrow mononuelear cells(BMNCs)was measured and their ability to form granu- locyte-macruphage colony-forming unit(CFU-GM)was assessed.The pathological sectioning of the femur was per- formed and the expression level of bone morphogenetic proteins(BMPs)in the bone marrow were evaluated.Re- sults The RMF treatment increased the survival rate and duration among the irradiated mice and the number of blood cells in their peripheral blood.Also,RMF treatment could increase the number of BMNCs and improve their ability to form CFU-GM on days 12-16.Furthermore,RMF could improve angiogenesis and the expression level of BMPs. Conclusion The RMF treatment had an obvious protective effect against the effects of irradiation,and it accelerated the recovery of hematopoiesis and the hematopoietic microenviroment in mouse bone marrow.

AIM: To explore the therapeutic effects of flunarizine combined with aspirin in the treatment of migrainous cerebral infaction. METHODS: 38 cases of patients diagnosed as migrainous cerebral infaction were respectively given flunarizine 10 mg combined with aspirin 100 mg every night for a month. The observed indices included the dysfunction scores of nervous system, the total classes of living ability, and the accumulating rate of platelet and viscosity of plasma before and after the treatment. Objective:To develop a method for the determination of palladium in bendamustine hydrochloride by GFAAS. Meth-ods:The sample was destroyed by heat, and the content of palladium was determined by GFAAS with the detection wavelength of 247. 6 nm. Results:The absorbance and the content of palladium showed a good linear relationship within the range of 20-60 ng· ml-1(r=0. 998 4). The average recovery of palladium was 102. 9%(RSD=1. 7%, n=9). Conclusion: The method is sensitive and simple, which can be used for the determination of palladium in bendamustine hydrochloride.

Objective To research the relationship between quality of life among the elderly with chronic periodontitis (CP) and the severity of CP.Methods A total of 471 elderly patients seeking treatment in the affiliated Stomatology Hospital of Kunming Medical University from September 2013 to January 2014 and their companions were investigated using the questionnaire according to the Chinese version of the Oral health Impact Profile-14.Those who diagnosed with CP were separated into two groups according to Community periodontal index (CPI) through periodontal examination.Group A was diagnosed with the early CP,and Group B was diagnosed with the late CP.Database was established by Epidata and statistical analysis was performed by SPSS.Results A total of 237 elderly patients with early CP and 139 with late CP were recorded.The mean OHIP-14 scores of the former were 14.36 ± 6.67,and the score of the later were 15.65 ± 7.12 relatively.The two groups who lived through negative effects were compared.The results suggested in the 14 items of OHIP-14.The statistical significance existed in the following 4 items,obvious pain appeared,uncomfortable when eating anything,unsatisfied with own diet,become easy to lose one's temper to others (P＜0.05).Conclusion OHR-QOL of elderly patients with the late CP is lower than that of those with the early CP.
