OBJECTIVE: To study the method of measuring the in vitro dissolubility of lansoprazole enteric- coated tablets and to find out the difference between the dissolubility of lansoprazole enteric- coated tablets and that of lansoprazole enteric- coated capsules.METHODS: To establish a measuring method of the dissolubility of lansoprazole enteric- coated tablets and compare the dissolubility of lansoprazole enteric- coated tablets with that of lansoprazole enteric- coated capsules and to acquire the dissolving parameters for variance analysis.RESULTS: (1)The accumulative dissolving quantity of the both preparations exceeded 80% in 30 minutes.(2)The comparison of Weibull parameters,T50,Td and m,between each other in group A showed no significant differences(P>0.05).It was the same for those of group B.(3)The parameters,T50 and Td,of group A,in comparison with those of group B,showed significant differences(P<0.001).The times needed for dissoiving 50% and 63.2% of quantity in group B were both shorter than those in group A.The m parameters in different groups had no significant differences(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in slope of equation between two groups.CONCLUSION: This measuring method of the in vitro dissolubility of lansoprazole enteric- coated tablets is simple, convenient, accurate, stable, feasible and good in repetition. It is concluded that there is significant difference between the dissolubility of the two dosage forms of enteric- coated preparation of lansoprazole.

12-18 years old).In each age group, children were classified according to their genders.Diffusion tensor imaging(DTI)was performed in all the children's heads. Then the angles formed by splenium corporis callosi and occipital forceps were measured in fractional anisotropy maps. All the data were analyzed statistically. Results 1.The females in infant group had the larger angles formed by splenium corporis callosi and occipital forceps. With the age increasing, the average values of angles tended to decrease gradually. But in some age groups, the average values in some cases tended to increase before it decreased.2.A statistically significant sex difference was found in infant group. In young child group,pre-school age group and adolescence group, such difference was found in angles formed by occipital forceps.Only in young child group, difference in the maximum angles of splenium corporis callosi was found.3.There was a significant difference between age groups in the angles formed by sides of occipital forceps and the minimum angles of splenium corporis callosi through one-way analysis of variance.4.The angles of occipital forceps and the minimum angles of splenium corporis callosi both had a negative correlation with ages. They both had a linear regression to ages. But,there was no correlation between the maximum angles of splenium corporis callosi and ages. Conclusions Sex differences might exist in the angles formed by both sides of occipital forceps and splenium corporis callosi. The angles formed by sides of occipital forceps and parts of angles of splenium corporis callosi might decrease when the age increases.Diffusion-weighted technology can be used to study the age and sex difference in angles formed by splenium corporis callosi and occipital forceps in children.

Objective:The current study investigated the effects of nesfatin-1 in the hypothalamic paraventricular nucleus (PVN) on gastric motility and the regulation of the lateral hypothalamic area (LHA).Methods:The projection of nerve ?ber and expression of nesfatin-1 were observed by retrograde tracing and fluo-immunohistochemistry staining; The nuclei microinjection and nuclei electrical stimulation, extracellular discharges of single unit neuron were used to observe the effects of nesfatin-1 on the GD neurons;Gastric motility recording in vivo were used to monitor the effects of nesfatin-1 on the amplitude of constriction and frequency of gastric motility in conscious rats.Results:Nesfatin-1 inhibited the majority of the GD-E neurons(1.97± 0.12 Hz vs.1.15± 0.07 Hz) and excited GD-I neurons (1.74± 0.10 Hz vs.3.04± 0.18 Hz) in the PVN,which were weakened by oxytocin receptor antagonist H4928 (GD-E:1.38± 0.08 Hz,P<0.05 vs.nesfatin-1;GD-I:2.49± 0.15 Hz,P<0.05 vs.nesfatin-1).Gastric motility experiments showed that administration ofnesfatin-1 in the PVN decreased gastric motility.Retrograde tracing and immunofluorescent staining showed that nucleobindin-2/nesfatin-1 and fluorogold double-labeled neurons were observed in the LHA.Electrical LHA stimulation excited the firing rate of GD-responsive neurons (GD-E:2.06± 0.12 Hz vs.4.23± 0.21 Hz,GD-I:1.61± 0.09 Hz vs.4.83± 0.25 Hz) in the PVN.Pre-administration of an antinucleobindin-2/nesfatin-1 antibody in the PVN strengthened gastric motility, decreased GD-E neurons (1.74± 0.10 Hz vs.3.04± 0.18 Hz) and excited the discharging of the GD-I neurons(4.15± 0.18 Hz vs.4.83± 0.25) induced by electrical stimulation of the LHA.Conclusion:Nesfatin-1 in the PVN could serve as an inhibitory factor to inhibit gastric motility, which might be regulated by the LHA.

Objective To analyze the clinical characteristics of macrophage activation syndrome (MAS). Methods Clinical data was analyzed in 9 children who had been diagnosed as MAS in our hospital from Jan, 2003 to Aug, 2006. Results Seven children were boys, 2 children were girls, aged 5 months to 12 years. Clinical manifestations included long-term fever, hemophagocytic cell in bone marrow, anemia, arthritis, enlargement of lymph nodes, enlargement of liver and spleen, liver dysfunction, abnormal fat metabolism. Two cases had acute respiratory, distress syndrome(ARDS), 2 cases were complicated with multi- pie organ failure(MOF), two patients died. Glucocorticoid combined with immunosuppressive therapy were effective, HP(Plasma Exchange)was applied in one severe case and was shown to he effective. Conclusion MAS is a serious complication of JIA, especially in systemic-onset juvenile idiopathic arthritis. It is very im- portant to recognize and treat MAS earlier.

Objective:It is demostrated that the porous protein-mineral mechanics model could provide more accurate prediction for biomaterial properties of dentine compared with the other established models. This paper would use the model to reevaluate the mechanical properties and its interacting mechanism of human dentine.Method:By using a porous proteinmineral mechanics model, the effect from the interactions between tubules, pedtubular and intertubular matrix on dentine microstructure was discussed. Results:The dentinal micromechanical properties were dependent on the tubular direction, and the absolute values of the stresses derived from the hydraulic and gas tubular pressures increased parabolically with theincreasing diameter of the tubules. It was also found that the effective elastic constants of the dentine microstructure would vary with the aging and the distribution of mineral and collagen within peritubular and intertubular matrix of detine. Conclusions:The theoretical analyses provided in this paper demonstrated that the microstructural characteristics of tubules, peritubular and intertubular dentinal matdx could have different influences on the micromechanical properties of human dentine, which showed the validity of porous protein-mineral mechanics model, and the limitation of some models that neglected the interacting mechanism.

60 curved root canals of permanent teeth with angles of curvature ranging from 15°to 40°(Schneider's methodology)were prepared using the instruments of Hyflex CM(HC) and ProTaper(PT) Universal respectively(n=30).Using standardized pre-and post-instrumentation paralleling periapical radiographs, canal curvature was determined by image analysis software and the clinical shaping effect of Hyflex CM and ProTaper rotary NiTi files were compared. The canal curvature in group HC and PT decreased by 4.54°±3.25° and 5.63°±3.84° respectively(between pre-and post-treatment in both groups,P<0.05;between groups,P>0.05).Hyflex CM can meet the clinical necessity for the instrumentation of curved root canals.
