Objective:To evaluate the clinical value of 64-slice spiral coronary CT angiography(CTA)in diagnosis of in-stent restenosis(ISR)after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)in patients with coronary artery disease. Methods:CTA was used to reconstruct and analyze the 345 segments(each stent was divided into three segments:proximal, middle and distal)of 115 stents in 60 patients with coronary heart disease after PCI.The results of selective coronary angiography(SCA)were taken as the golden standard to evaluate the sensitivity and specificity of CTA in diagnosis of ISR after PCI.Results:CTA clearly showed the location and length of the stents, the stenosis at stent and the characteristics of restenosis plaques.Thirty-nine in-stent restenosis lesions were found by CTA,including 8 calcified lesions and 31 non-calcified lesions. There were 25 lesions at the proximal end of the stent,7 at the middle and 7 at the distal end.Forty-two lesions were found by CTA,including 9 calcified lesions and 33 non-calcified lesions, with 26 at the proximal end,8 at the middle and 8 at the distal end.CTA correctly diagnosed 36 segments, missed 6,and misdiagnosed 3.The sensitivity, specificity,PPV,NPV and accuracy of CTA were 85.71%,99.01%,92.31%,98.04% and 97.39%,respectively.CTA had the highest sensitivity and specificity for diagnosis of the proximal ISR,being 96.15% and 100%,respectively.Proximal stent restenosis accounted for 64.10% of the total. Conclusion:CTA can clearly demonstrate the in-stent restenosis and has a high accuracy in diagnosing restenosis after PCI.CTA is a safe, simple and reliable noninvasive diagnostic method for diagnosis of in-stent restenosis after PCI.

N-Benzyl matrinol was obtained by hydrolysis, benzylation and reduction reaction from matrine. A series of hybrids (8a-8n) from (phenylsulfonyl)furoxan and N-benzyl matrinol were synthesized and biologically evaluated as anti-hepatocellular carcinoma agents. All target compounds were evaluated for anti-proliferative activity against human hepatocellular Bel-7402, SMMC-7721, Bel-7404, and HepG2 cells in vitro by MTT method. The results indicated that all of these compounds had potent anti-proliferative activity which were more potent than their parent compound and 5-FU, especially 8a-8h and 8j showed the strongest anti-HCC HepG2 cell activity with IC50 values of 0.12-0.93 μmol x L(-1).

Oral hydroxycamptothecin nanosuspension (HCPT-Nano) with high supersaturated dissolution level, high permeation and well physical stability, was manufactured by microprecipitation-high press homogenization method. Its pharmaceutical properties were investigated, such as size and distribution, zeta potential, particle shape, physical existence condition, supersaturated dissolution level and so on. Particle size was measured by laser diffraction, and the mean diameters before and after lyophilization were 138 +/- 11.72 nm and 175 +/- 12.74 nm, respectively, for HCPT-Nano. Zeta potentials of HCPT-Nano was over -20 mV. The nanoparticles, being observed by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), were claviform or column in shape. DSC and X-ray diffraction revealed that HCPT existed in the form of crystal for HCPT-Nano. And HCPT-Nano could maintain higher supersaturated dissolution level for long time. So it supplied the possibility of improving oral bioavailability of HCPT when combining together admoveatur of P-gp inhibitor, CsA.

ObjectiveTo evaluate the effects of cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) on improving left ventricle (LV) function and LV asynchrony in patients with dilated cardiomyopathy(DCM)using three-dimensional ultrasound speckle tracking imaging(3D-STI).MethodsTwenty one patients with DCM and 25 normal subjects were enrolled in this study.Parameters including LV mean longitudinal peak strain (MLS),LV mean circumferential peak strain (MCS),LV mean radial peak strain (MRS),LV ejection fraction(3D-LVEF),maximal temporal difference in area strain of LV 16 segments (A-MaxTs) and its standard deviation (A-Ts-SD) were investigated by 3D-STI.LV ejection fraction (ECT-LVEF) and LV phase angle width (LVW) were obtained by radionuclide ventriculography and phase image analysis. Results The indexes of MLS,MCS,MRS and 3D-LVEF were decreased and A-MaxTs,A-Ts-SD were prolonged in DCM group compared with those of control group. There was a slightly improvement in MRS and ECTLVEF 1 week after CRT,but other Parameters including MLS,MCS,A-MaxTs,A-Ts-SD and 3D-LVEF had no significant change.Compared with corresponding values before and 1 week after CRT,all parameters (MCS,MRS,A-MaxTs,A-Ts-SD,3D-LVEF and ECT-LVEF) were further improved 6 months after CRT.MLS,MCS,MRS and 3D-LVEF had good relationship with ECT-LVEF,and A-MaxTs,A-Ts-SD had good relationship with LVW in DCM group.Conclusions3D-STI is a simple and accurate method for evaluating effects of CRT on improving LV function and LV asynchrony in patients with DCM.
