2.Progress in epigenetic regulation of the tumor suppressor gene RECK
Cancer Research and Clinic 2016;28(8):565-568
The RECK protein is highly expressed in normal cells and tissues,however,down-regulated in transformed cells or tumor tissues.Subsequent functional studies have demonstrated that RECK owns the tumor suppressor activity.Hence,it is urgent and important to unmask the mechanisms involved in regulation of RECK expression.Epigenetic regulation plays a vital role in modulating gene expression, besides, multiple research also suggested the involvement of epigenetic regulation in RECK expression. The epigenetic regulation mechanisms of controlling the gene expression currently known will be reviewed in this paper.

8.Progress of berberine for treatment of type 2 diabetes.
China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2014;39(8):1374-1378
Berberine is the major component of Coptidis Rhizoma and it has been used as anti-infection, anti-inflammation drug for gastrointestinal diseases. In recent years, evidence showed that it could regulate glucose and lipid metabolism. Moreover, its activity had been tested by clinical trials and animal researches. The mechanisms of berberine in diabetes include: improving the function of beta-cell; prompting insulin secretion and islets regeneration, lowing lipid level, regulating glucose and lipid metabolic by influence transcriptional factors expression such as PPARgamma, C/EBPalpha, SREBP-1c, LXR, having the activities of anti-oxidation and inhibiting reductase to repress oxidative stress state and regulate metabolic signal pathway. Although numbers of data supported that berberine could improving insulin resistance by clinical trials and animal studies, the large scale, multicenter clinical trials are needed to evaluate the effects of berberine for diabetes and its complications in the time of evidence-based medicine.

9.Clinical Characteristics of Extrapulmonary Complication Induced by Mycoplasma Pneumoniae Infection Complicating with Infectious Mononucleosis Syndrome
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(16):-
Objective To approach the clinical characteristics of extrapulmonary complication induced by mycoplasma pneumoniae(MP) infection and infectious mononucleosis syndrome. Methods The MP-IgM(+), EBV- IgM(+) were determined by enzyme- linked immunosorbent assay. There were 18 cases infected with MP and infectous mononucleosis syndrome with abnormal fever, cervix lyphadenectasis, pharyngitis, liver and spleen intumescence, lung infection, and so on.They were analyzed by reviewing. Results There were 8 cases(44.4%) with extrapulmonary complication, among them 3 cases(16.6%) with liver injury,1 case (5.56%) with heart injury,2 cases(11.1%) with both heart and liver injuries,1 case(5.56%) with urinary system injury (nephritis), 1 case (5.56%) with nervous system injury (encephalitis). The complication usually arised 1 week after primary affection, but had no typical clinical symptoms. There was only 1 case with encephalitis who expressed the symptom of nervous system symptom firstly, and was clinically dia- gnosed by assistant examinations. All the cases recovered after 3 weeks′ treatment with macrolides, 5-7 days with ganciclovir, and also with regular complication and support treatments. Conclusions The incidence of extrapulmonary complication induced by MP infection and infectous mononucleosis syndrome is higher than that by the single infection, and its clinical symptom isn′t obvious and is easy to be covered by original illness. And a few showing the extrapulmonary as the first symptom is easily mistakenly diagnosed .As a result, the prognosis is favorable if we make subsidiary inspection and diagnosis as soon as possible and give it with regular treatment.
10.Apoptosis-inducing Effect of BMP7 Gene on Human Liver Cancer Cell Line HepG2
China Biotechnology 2006;0(11):-
Objective:To construct recombinant retrovirus expressing human bone morphogenetic protein-7 gene BMP7 and to discuss its apoptosis-inducing activities and the mechanism in liver cancer cell line HepG2. Methods:BMP7 gene was amplified and reconstructed with retroviral plasmid pLP-LNCX by loxP homologous recombination, and then the plasmid pLP-LNCX-BMP7 (pLLBMP7) was transferred into packing cell line PT67 and the supernatant was collected to assay viral titer. MTT assay was adopted to observe HepG2 cells amplification. 48h after pLLBMP7 infection agarose electrophoresis and flow cytometry were used to verify apoptosis of tumor cells, and then the expression of BMP7,caspase-3 and bcl-2 proteins were detected by Western blotting. Results:Recombinant retrovirus pLLBMP7 was justified and transformed into PT67 package cell with supernatant viral titer amounted to 5?109 pfu/ml. In MTT assay retrovirus group had no evident difference from controls in cellular inhibition 72h later (35.1% vs. 5.3%,68.5% vs.18.3%,p
