2.Anatomical and radiographic study of medullary screw fixation of anterior acetabular column andits clinical significance

Objective To discuss the anatomical and radiographic parameters of medullary screw fixation of anterior acetabular column so as to provide reference for clinical application. Methods Thirty cadaveric pelvic specimens (including 18 males and 12 females) were involved in the study and fixated re-spectively with 30 retrograde medullary cannular lag screws through pubic tubercle to acetabular posterosu-perior on the left side and with 30 anterograde medullary cannular lag screws through acetabular posterosu-perior to pubic tubercle on the right side. Then, two-dimensional multiplanar CT reconstruction was done to measure the angle and length of the anterograde and retrograde medullary screw trajectory, the relationship of screws with acetabular bone and penis and determine optimal point and angle of screw insertion. Re-suits The entrance of the retrograde medullary screw was located at pubic tubercle, with vertical dimen-sion of ( 17.15±1.82) mm to pubic symphysis and that of (20.51±2.19) mm to superior margin of pu-bis. For the anterograde medullary screw, the distance from the entrance of the screw to greater sciatic notch was (33.25±2.35) mm, with safe insertion angle of (32.1±2.7)°of cephalon tilting at the sagittal plane and (46.5±3.6)°of lateral tilting at the coronal plane. The entrance angle of the anterugrade and retrograde medullary screw trajectory was similar, with only opposite direction and minor difference between the left and the right sides (P>0.05). The length of medullary screw trajectory was (119.5±2.2) mm, with insignificant difference between both sides ( P >0.05). The maximum diameter of the screw was 7.2 mm. Conclusions Medullary screw fixation of anterior acetabular column is clinically feasible but needs rather high accuracy and can be used as an alternative to plate fixation.
3.Case-control studies of two kinds of method for the treatment of lumbar tuberculosis with psoas abscess.

OBJECTIVETo compare two kinds of method for treating lumbar tuberculosis with psoas abscess, to provide reference for clinical reasonable select of therapy treatment.
METHODSFrom January 2010 to January 2013,42 patients with lumbar tuberculosis combined with psoas abscess with obvious surgical indications were enrolled, including 24 males and 18 females with an average age of (38.5 ± 10.2) years old ranging from 21 to 63 years old. All patients were followed up for 18 to 24 months with an average of 20.9 months. Twenty-two patients underwent posterior vertebral body lesions cleared, bone graft fusion and internal fixation and percutaneous puncture catheter drainage for treatment of psoas major abscess as group A, and twenty patients underwent one-stage extraperitoneal approach to remove abscess, posterior vertebral body lesions cleared, bone graft fusion and internal fixation as group B. The operative time, loss of blood, length of hospital stay, clinical cure rate and other clinical results for the two groups were analyzed and compared.
RESULTSThe loss of blood was (452.3 ± 137.6) ml in group A and (603.5 ± 99.6) ml in group B, there was significant statistical difference (P < 0.05). The time of operation was (193.6 ± 91.2) min in group A and (230.5 ± 56.6) min in group B, there was significant statistical difference (P < 0.05). The time of operation and the loss of blood in group A were obviously less than which in group B. In group A 20 cases were cured and 2 cases relapsed, 19 cases were cured and 1 case relapsed in group B, there was no significant statistical differences between two groups regarding cure rate with chi-square test (χ² = 0.000, P = 1.000). All patients in two groups obtained good clinical curative effect. There were no significant statistical difference between two groups regarding for length of hospital stay with t-test (P > 0.05).
CONCLUSIONLumbar spinal tuberculosis with psoas abscess is not absolute indications for anterior open operation. Compared with the combined anterior and posterior surgical procedure, the percutaneous puncture catheter drainage combined with posterior debridement, interbody fusion and internal fixation can achieve the same clinical effect but less trauma for the patients.

5.Comparative study of arthroscopic reconstruction of anterior crucial ligament with autograft and aliograft of bone-patellar tendon-bone

Objective To compare the effect of allograft and autograft of bone-patellar tendon- bone (B-PT-B) under arthroscopy in reconstruction of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL).Methods The injured ACL was reconstructed under arthroscopy by using autograft of B-PT-B in 30 cases and al- lograft of B-PT-B in 28 cases from January 2000 to August 2003.After over twelve months follow up,a comparison was done on rehabilitation of quadriceps femoris,knee stability,the Lysholm's score of knee and the enlargement of tunnel in both groups.Results Both groups obtained marked improvement of knee stability and symptoms after operation.But in the early time,the rehabilitation of quadriceps femoris in the ailograft group is faster than that in the autograft group.The rehabilitation of quadriceps femoris, knee stability and the Lysholm's score of knee were similar at 12th month (P>0.05).There could be seen enlargement of tunnel in both groups,with more in the allograft group (P>0.05).Conclusion For arthroscopic reconstruction of anterior crucial ligament (ACL),allograft of B-PT-B is good substitute, for it is characterized by effectiveness,convenience and minor side effect.

LMWH, as the analog of HS, charged with anion, competes with GBM HS to combine with RSV to keep the glomeruli from being infected and destroyed, and then reduce the proteinuria.

Abstract: Objective To screening new compounds that can inhibit the growth and biofilm formation of Staphylococcus aureus. Methods Compounds that can inhibit the growth of Staphylococcus aureus were screened from the FDA approved drug library by 96 well plates. The absorbance value of 600 nm wavelength (OD600) was measured by Microplate Reader to detect the growth of Staphylococcus aureus planktonic cells in the culture supernatant. The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of ozanimod against Staphylococcus aureus clinical isolates were detected by micro broth dilution method. The inhibitory effect of sub-inhibitory concentrations of ozanimod on the biofilm formation of Staphylococcus aureus was detected by crystal violet staining. Results This study found that ozanimod could significantly inhibit the growth of Staphylococcus aureus SA113 (screening reference strain), and the MIC was 25.00 μmol/L. The MIC of ozanimod against 119 clinical isolates of Staphylococcus aureus [65 isolates of methicillin sensitive (MSSA) and 54 isolates of methicillin resistant (MRSA)] was 12.50 or 25.00 μmol/L. The MIC50 and MIC90 of ozanimod against the 119 Staphylococcus aureus isolates all were 25.00 μmol/L. This study found that 6.25, 12.50, 25.00 μmol/L of ozanimod could significantly inhibit the biofilm formation of 2 MSSA and 2 MRSA. The sub-MIC concentration of ozanimod (12.50 μmol/L) could significantly inhibit the biofilm formation of 14 MSSA and 11 MRSA, but had no inhibitory effect on the growth of planktonic cells of these Staphylococcus aureus isolates. Conclusion Ozanimod can inhibit the growth of Staphylococcus aureus, including MRSA, and has good antibacterial activity. The sub-MIC concentration of ozanimod could significantly inhibit the biofilm formation of Staphylococcus aureus.
10.Clinical research of traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of high myopia with macular hemorrhage

AlM:To study the treatment effect of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of high myopia macular hemorrhage, using Chinese medicine etiology and pathogenesis, syndrome differentiation treatment, and provide the basis for the clinical treatment. METHODS: Eighty patients ( 135 eyes ) with high myopia macular hemorrhage were selected in the hospital from January 2012 to september 2014 as treatment group, and applied traditional Chinese medicine treatment. Forty-five patients (64 eyes) with the same period, as the control group, received routine western medicine treatment. After 1mo treatement, the treatment effect and vision improvement situation of two groups were observed, and after 6mo follow-up, the relapse was observed.RESULTS: The total effective rate of treatment group was 85. 19% (115/135), higher than the control group 78. 13% (50/64) (P<0. 05). The average corrected visual acuity of treatment group was 0. 48±0. 11, higher than the control group 0. 36 ± 0. 09, the difference was statistically significant (P<0. 05). The average diopter and macular bleeding scope of the treatment group were -9. 81±0. 85D and 0. 51 ± 0. 27PD, lower than the control group -10. 76 ± 0. 91D and 0. 78 ± 0. 23PD, the differences were statistically significant ( P < 0. 05 ). The bleeding again of the control group 7. 81% ( 5/64 ), higher than the treatment group was 5. 19% (7/135), the difference was statistically significant (P<0. 05).CONCLUSlON: Evidence-based treatment of traditional Chinese medicine for high myopia macular hemorrhage has good clinical effect, can shorten the treatment time, and is beneficial to the recovery of postoperative vision, worthy of clinical popularization and application.
