Objective To explore the relationship between tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-? promoter G238A,G308A and interferon(IFN)-?+874A/T polymorphism and susceptibility to cytomegalovirus(CMV) hepatitis.Methods A TaqMan fluorescence polymerase chain reaction(PCR) in the IFN-?+874A/T and TNF-? gene promoter region single nucleotide polymorphism was tested in the subjects,including 87 infants with CMV hepatitis and 89 children without CMV hepatitis.Results No evident difference of TNF-? +238G/A and+308G/A allele frequency was found between infants with CMV hepatitis and controls.The cases of IFN-?+874 AA,AT and TT genotype were 64,20,3 cases in the infant CMV hepatitis group,and 45,26 and 18 cases in the control group,respectively.There was significant difference in IFN-?+874 allele genotype and frequency between infants with CMV hepatitis and the control group(P=0.001,P

Recent studies showed that vascular endothelial growth factor ( VEGF) and pigment epithelium-derived factor ( PEDF ) are now accepted as the key cytokine in the development of diabetic retinopathy. Objective To evaluate the effect of collagen shield delivering fluconazole eye drops made by centrifugal method on treating fungal keratitis of rabbit eyes.Methods Using centrifugal method to make corneal collagen shield,after soaked with fluconazole eye drops,the collagen shields were used to treat fungal keratitis of rabbit eyes.Results The healing focus time of collagen shield delivering fluconazole eye drops group was average 11 days,the healing focus time of only delivering fluconazole eye drops group was average 18 days.The cure rate and effective rate of 2 groups were 78.94%,63.15% and 92.10%,78.94%,there were significance between 2 groups(P<0.05).Conclusion It was innovation for corneal collagen shield delivering fluconazole eye drops made by centrifugal method to cure fungal keratitis,which had broad development foreground.

Objective Study the production of the?-lactamases in eight pan-resistant citrobact- er freandi and their epidemic characteristics.Methods Modified Hodge test and EDTA-disk syner- gy test were used to screen Metallo-?-lactarnases,and isoelectric focusing to estimate the production of ESBLs and AmpC enzymes.ESBLs,AmpC,MBL genes were amplified and analyzed by PCR and DNA sequencing.Molecular epidemics were investigated by PFGE.Results All the 8 strains pro- duced TEM-1,CTX-M-14,4 of them at the same time producing CTX-M-3.No Plasmid mediated AmpC was found.Furthermore,a new subtype of MBL with one amino acid different from IMP-8 was de- tected.All the 8 strains belong to the same PFGE type.Conclusions Pan-drug-resistant citrobacter freundi produced more than one kind of?-lactamases.All these isolates were clonally related.
