Chinese Journal of Minimally Invasive Surgery 2001;0(04):-
Objective To discuss the clinical effect and safety of transurethral holmium laser resection of bladder tumors. Methods A total of 20 patients with bladder tumors(stage Ta~T2a)was treated by holmium laser resection transurethrally. There were 17 patients with primary tumor and 3 patients with recurrent tumor. The laser power was set at 15~40 W.Small lesions were vaporized directly, while large ones(more than 1.0 cm in diameter and with broad pedicels)were incised from the pedicel, with neighboring tissues 1~2 cm in extent vaporized and cauterized. Results The tumors were removed on one session in all the 20 patients. The operation time was 10~70 min(mean,30 min).No complications such as obturator nerve reflex, bladder perforation,or overhydration occurred. No blood transfusion was required. The postoperative catheterization time was 1~5 days(mean,3 days). No recurrence was found during follow-up examinations for 3 months in 16 patients and 6 months in 4 patients(mean,3.6 months). Conclusions Transurethral holmium laser resection of bladder tumors is a safe and effective procedure for the treatment of bladder tumors.

Objective To study the effect of behavioral therapy combined with Paroxetine in the treatment of overactive bladder accompanied by depression and anxiety. Methods Over the past two years,a total of 69 cases of patients with overactive bladder accompanied by depression and anxiety were diagnosed by outpatient, they were divided into experimental group (n=33)and control group(n=36).The experimental group were given behavior therapy and Paroxetine in the treatment of anxiety, depression, while the control group were given behavior therapy. Then the overactive bladder symptom score(OABSS),urgency score,SDS,SAS score before and after treatment of the two groups of patients were statistically analyzed. Results (1)The OABSS score ((3.30± 1.01) vs (7.51 ± 0.69)),urgency score((2.60±0.51) vs (3.93±0.69)),SDS score((43.1±6.2) vs (66.4±4.7)) and SAS score ((41.9±0.6) vs (61.4±3.9)) decreased after treatment of the experimental group. There were statistically significant compared with before treatment(t=17.8773,8.9045,17.2039,16.0273,all P<0.01).(2) The OABSS score, urgency score decreased after treatment of the control group. There were statistically significant compared with before treatment (t=6.1926,6.3483;both P<0.01).SDS,SAS score before and after treatment of the control group were not statistically significant (t=1.3105,0.5852,bothP>0.05) (3) The OABSS score, urgency score,of the experimental group were more depressed than the control group, which were statistically significant (t =3.3830,3.6391,both P<0.01).Conclusion For overactive bladder patients with anxiety and depression, behavioral therapy combined with Paroxetine is better than behavioral therapy alone.

National Journal of Andrology 2014;20(9):808-811
OBJECTIVETo assess the feasibility and safety of robot-assisted laparoscopic radical prostatectomy (RLRP) in the treatment of prostate cancer.
METHODSUsing the da Vinci robot surgical system, we performed RLRP for 34 patients with localized prostate cancer and analyzed the intraoperative and follow-up data.
RESULTSThe procedures were performed successfully in all the patients, with the mean operation time of 198 min (range 135-340 min), average blood loss of 257 ml (range 50-700 ml), and 1 case of blood transfusion, but no postoperative complications. Three cases had positive surgical margins. Postoperative examination at 4 weeks showed PSA > 0.2 microg/L in 2 cases, suggestive of residual tumor, for which maximal androgen block therapy was administered. The other 32 patients were followed up for 3-10 (mean 7.5) months, during which the average level of serum tPSA remained < 0.2 microg/L. Urinary continence was found in 94% (32/34) and 97% (33/34) of the patients at 3 and 6 months, respectively, of whom 77% (26/34) and 88% (30/34) had no urinary leakage (0 pad per day).
CONCLUSIONRLRP, with its advantages of less perioperative blood loss, low rate of positive margin, and good urinary continence, is a safe and effective surgical option for the treatment of prostate cancer.

China Pharmacy 2005;0(20):-
OBJECTIVE:To explore the comprehensive model for the prevention and treatment of community hypertension.METHODS:By questionnaire survey, the community hypertension target population was screened and the drug use in hypertensive patients was analyzed statistically.RESULTS:Of the 65 000 community residents investigated,1 250 were found to be hypertensive patients, with a total treatment rate of 80.0%;only 32.8% were treated with at least 2 kinds of drugs, and the overall blood pressure control efficacy was poor.CONCLUSION:The program of prevention and treatment for community hypertensive patients is conducive to patients' long term adherence to medication, scientific and rational drug use and effective and stable control of blood pressure.

Objective To compare the perinipple round-block technique with the conventional periareolar round-block technique in areolar reduction operations. Methods A total of 37 patients who underwent areolar reduction operations in our department were randomly allocated into two groups:Group A (19 patients) received a conventional periareolar round-block technique, while group B (18 patients) through a new perinipple round-block technique. In the latter approach,an intraareolar donut of pigmented skin was deepithelialized, and the exposed areolar dermis was then telescoped inward and stretch-anchored to an imaginary circular line situated beneath the breast skin areola junction. The roundblock technique was then utilized to approximate the skin edges, resulting in a minimal scar, totally inconspicuous, confined to the immediate perinipple area. The operative time, perioperative complications, scars, absorption time of the skin folds, the sensation of the nipple-areolar complex and the patients' satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The mean operative time of group A and group B was 40.5 min and 45.8 min, respectively (P<0.05).No perioperative complications were found in these two groups. No patient had experienced permanent nipple sensory changes. The skin folds absorption time of group A was 4.34 months, while the time of group B was 8.78 months (P<0.01).The perinipple round-block technique produced a more inconspicuous scar with a better aesthetic results. Conclusions The traditional periareolar round-block technique leaves a sharply demarcated areola by a circular scar which has a totally unnatural and artificial look.As for the perinipple round-block technique, the incision as well as any residual cutaneous wrinkling or puckering is well concealed by the dome of the nipple and the areolar, but it needs a longer skin folds absorption time.

Hypoxiaisoneofthemostimportantfactorsinfluencingcancertherapyandclinicalprogno-sis.With positron emission tomography (PET)widely adopted in clinical practice, the development and appli-cation of PET hypoxia imaging agents has been much popular in the field currently.PET hypoxia imaging can detect tumor hypoxia region noninvasively, which has important significance for optimizing cancer treatment decisions and improving the prognosis of cancer.

Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2006;0(11):-
Humanized monoclonal antibodies(mAbs) are increasingly widely used in targeted therapy for cancer and some other major diseases.Complementarity-determining region(CDR) grafting makes quantities of humanized mAbs available.Herein,we provide an overview on the strategy and progress of CDR grafting.
