Microbiology 1992;0(04):-
Acid/base mutants of glycosidases, namely thioglycoligases, are able to catalyze thioglycosides synthesis. Now, many thioglycoligases, including ?-thioglucoligase, ?-thiomannoligase, ?-thiogalactoligase, ?-thioxyloligase and ?-thioglucoligase, have been developed from bacteria and archaebacteria, and applied in synthesizing various thioglycoligases. Recently, thioglycoligases have been used to glycosylate the glycoprotein and firstly generate the thioglycoprotein. The novel extended synthetic function of glycosidases would promote the development of glycobiology, biotechnology and pharmacy.

Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2011;09(2):120-122
Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of combined acupuncture and speech rehabilitation in treating postapoplectic aphasia. Methods: Sixty subjects were randomized into two groups. 30 cases in the treatment group were treated by both speech rehabilitation and acupuncture therapy, while 30 cases in the control group were treated by speech rehabilitation only. After 30-day treatments, the clinical efficacy was observed. Results: The total effective rate and speech score were higher in the treatment group than in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Combined acupuncture and speech rehabilitation is quite effective for postapoplectic aphasia.

[Objective]To investigate curative effect for thoracolumbar burst fractures by the method of vertebral pedicle screw fixation applied in the with transpedicular bone graft, and consider its indications.[Method]Thirty cases of thoracolumbar burst fractures were treated by vertebral pedicle screw fixation combining transpedicular bone graft.Among them 22 were male and 8 were famale, age ranged 18-64.All of cases were single segment fractures. The average height of anterior border was 35% before the operation, the average of Cobb's angle was 26?,the percentage of midsagital diameter was 55%.According to Frankel's neurological function classification, preoperative neurological function was Grade A in 4 cases,B in 8,C in 5,D in 6,E in 7.[Result]All cases were followed up for 6 to 30 months. All patients' pain relieved distinctly, the average height anterior border was increased to 97%,the average of Cobb's angle was 3.5?,the percentage of midsagital diameter was 92% postoperatively, showing significant difference(P

Journal of Practical Stomatology 2001;0(01):-
Objective: To study the bonding interface characteristic of five wet bonding systems while bonding on different dentin bonding surfaces. Methods: Rhodamine B was used to label five adhesives(OptiBond Sol o,Single Bond,Gluma One-Bond,Bond-1 and One-Step) in consistency of 0.1%, an d the bonding interface of the 5 wet bonding systems on dry or wet dentin surfa ces was observed with laser scanning confocal microscope. Results: All five bonding systems could infiltrate well into dentin bonding interface when bonding on wet dentin surface. The fluorescence confocal images gave eviden ce of the adhesives penetrated into the widened tubules, lateral tubules and dem ineralized peritubular dentin. Little discontinuity in dentin tubular was observ ed in the images, especially in those of alcohol-water-based adhesives. When b onded in dry dentin surface, the hybrid thickness of acetone-based adhesives de creased significantly. Conclusion: The penetration ability of ad hesives may be reduced significantly on dry dentin surface.

Anaerobic ammonium oxidation(ANAMMOX)is a new process of nitrogen conversion that has prospect most currently. The AN- AMMOX process offers great opportunities to remove ammonia from wastewater without the addition of an external carbon source and with con- siderable less aeration costs in comparison with classical methods.ANAMMOX is a biologically mediated process.Three bacteria are identi- fied responsible for the process as new deep-branching planctomycete:Brocadia,Kuenenia and Scalindua.Described it to separate and the method, biochemistry path, the ecosystem physiology characteristic for authenticate and distribute.

Objective To investigate the expression of Fas/FasL in children with aplastic anemia(AA) and its clinical significance. To explore the pathogenesis of AA.Methods CD34+ cell counts and the expression of Fas/FasL in 12 children with severe AA(SAA),18 with chronic AA(CAA)and 10 normal children were detected by flow cytometry combining monocolon antibody. Results The expression of Fas in children with AA were significantly higher than that in control group(P0.05).Conclusions Fas/FasL systeam take part in inducing CD34+ cell apoptosis. This may contribute to understanding the decrease number of stem cells and bone marrow failure.

Retinal vein occlusion (RVO) is a common clinical disease causing vision loss. Risk factors such as diabetes, atherosclerosis are closely associated with RVO. Xuesaitong injection is used extensively in clinical treatment of RVO, however the mechanism is still unclear. In this study, we investigated the protective effect of Xuesaitong injection on RVO rat model. Using a compound-target network of Xuesaitong on anti-RVO constructed by literature mining, we aim to elucidate the multi-compound, multi-target effect of Xuesaitong injection. Fifteen potential targets of Xuesaitong injection associated with inflammation, angiogenesis, apoptosis, and coagulation were identified in this study. VEGF, IL-1beta and IL-6, three important targets in the compound-target network were further experimentally validated. This study provided experimental evidence for Xuesaitong injection being effective in treating RVO and a network view on its anti-RVO mode of action through a multi-compound and multiple-target mechanism.
