Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2014;34(12):1242-1244
Science of Meridians and Acupoints of the new version has been obviously improved in terms of bookbinding and printing quality and the concrete textbook content as compared with the textbook of the old version. However, some questions had been discovered during actual usage in the past semester. The writer makes the discussion from 4 aspects, named content arrangement, content statement, content correction and phonetic notation of rare words. The writer puts forward his own opinions on a part of acupoints essentially and points out some mistakes in the textbook.

Chinese Journal of Nervous and Mental Diseases 2014;(7):405-408
Objective To analyze the clinical features and risk factors of migraine patients with white matter le-sions (WMLs). Methods One hundred ten clinically diagnosed migraine patients who underwent magnetic resonance im-aging (MRI) scans from October, 2010 to August, 2013 were enrolled in Shandong Provincial Hospital. One hundred ten migraine patients were divided into two groups:WMLs group and non-WMLs group based on the presence or absence of WMLs in MRI scans. The clinical features of the patients and location and number of WMLs were investigated. Noncondi-tional multivariate stepwise logistic regression after univariate analysis was used to analyze the data. Odds ratio (0R) and 95 confidence interval after adjustment for possible confounding variables were calculated. Results①There were 36 patients with WMLs among the 110 migraine patients. The incidence of WMLs in migraine patients was 32.7%. The WMLs in migraine patients were predominantly present in the frontal and parietal lobes (59.1%). ② Compared with non-WMLs group, there were significant increases in disease duration (5.3±3.7 vs. 7.6±4.9, P﹤0.01), frequency of head-ache attack (3.5 ± 2.3 vs. 4.6 ± 2.2, P﹤0.05), aura (18.9%vs. 36.1%, P﹤0.05) and family history of migraine (12.2%vs. 44.4%, P﹤0.01) in WMLs group.③The independent risk factors of WMLs in migraine patients were family history of mi-graine (OR=5.995), aura (OR=3.067) and long disease duration (OR=1.165). Conclusions Family history of migraine, au-ra and disease duration are the predictive risk factors of WMLs in migraineurs.

Objective To investigate the effects of children's mentality on mental symptoms during recovery period of ketamine anesthesia. Methods According to the mentality, forty-five children undergoing smalminor surgery were assigned into active group, stable group and fretful group with 15 cases each. Child was anaesthetized by ketamine alone. RP, BP, HR and SpO_2 were recorded at the end of operation, 5,10 and 30 min after operation. Meanwhile the expression, feeling, behavior, talking and activity were observed. Results RR, BP, HR in active group and fretful group were significantly higher than those in stable group. There was a significant difference in the expression, feeling, behavior, talking and activity among three groups. Conclusion Children's mentality has a significant effect on mental symptoms and hemodynamics during recovery period of ketamine anesthesia.

Objective To review retrospectively the clinical experience in surgical treatment of congenital subaortic stenosis in 21 cases. Methods A total of 21 cases of congenital subaortic stenosis, including 12 cases of diaphragmatic type of stenosis and 9 cases of cast constriction, underwent intracardiac surgery from January 1999 to June 2003. Simple resection of stenosis membrane was performed in 12 cases, simple resection of stenosis membrane plus resection of myocardium of left ventricle outflow tract in 9 cases, simple resection of stenosis membrane plus resection of myocardium of left ventricle outflow tract plus treatment of united cardiac monstrosity in 16 case. Results No operative death and complications were found in all patients. Disappearance of cardiac murmur was found in 15 cases and diminishment of cardiac murmur in the rest of the patients after operation. A follow up time for 6 months to 2 years revealed that there were no obvious clinical symptoms, and the surgical outcomes were satisfactory. The cardiac ultrasound suggested that the left ventricular outflow tract was fluent without recurrent constriction. Conclusion Early treatment of congenital subaortic stenosis should be conducted when the disease was diagnosed. Better knowledge of pathological anatomy, proper operation, and prevention of complications are essential.

Journal of Third Military Medical University 2003;0(16):-
Objective To study the effect of Bifidobacterium spent culture supernatant (SCS) on adhesion of Pseudomonas aeruginosa to intestinal epithelial cells. Methods The intestinal epithelial cells were cultured, then divided into three groups: control,Pseudomonas aeruginosa adhesion group,SCS and Pseudomonas aeruginosa adhesion group. The effects of SCS on cell viability, the number of adhering and invasive bacteria were evaluated with MTT assay and lysis-counting assay in 1,3,6 h. Results At 3 h after SCS treatment, the amount of Pseudomonas aeruginosa decreased significantly, and the number of adhering and invasive bacteria decreased by 71% and 87% respectively. Conclusion SCS could protect the intestinal epithelial cells by inhibiting the adhesion and invasion of Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
