Chongqing Medicine 2015;(31):4336-4337,4342
Objective To investigate the efficacy of two different methods in treatment of liver cancer which sizes ranged from 3 to 6cm ,and provide the basis for clinical treatment methods .Methods A retrospective analysis of the curative effect of liver cancer patients whose tumor diameter were rang from 3 to 6 cm was done .All patients collected from the Forth Cadre′s Sanatorium and Health Center ,Military Region in Shandong province Taian zones at the time of December 2008 to December 2011 who carried out surgical resection or radiofrequency ablation .Results 41 cases of recurrence within a year in surgical group ,the recurrence rate was 32 .5% ,87 cases(69 .1% ) of recurrence ,103 cases(81 .7% ) of recurrence within 3 years ;41 cases of recurrence within a year in radio frequency ablation group ,the recurrence rate was 40 .8% ,51 cases(71 .8% ) of recurrence within 2 years ,60 cases(84 .5% ) of recurrence within 3 years ,a statistically significant difference were found between the two group at the same period time (P<0 .05);1 ,2 ,3 year survival rates were 84 .6% ,69 .8% ,56 .3% in surgical group ,radiofrequency 1 ,2 ,3 year survival rates were 85 .3% ,70 .9% ,53 .4 in radio frequency ablation group ,The difference was not statistically significant at the same period time (P>0 .05) .Conclusion For size between 3 to 6 cm liver cancer ,radiofrequency ablation can be used as the preferred method of treatment .

Objective To evaluate the effect of the setup error on the dosimetric verification for the nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients and cervical carcinoma patients treated with volumetric modulated are therapy (VMAT).Methods VMAT plans for 10 cervical cancer patients and 10 nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients were transplanted into the Delta4 phantom and calculate the dose, next, implement the treatment on the Varian iX linear accelerator.on the Varian iX linear accelerator. To simulate the setup error by moving the treatment couch in,out,up,down, left, right by 3 mm,5 mm,7 mm.Thereby study the effect of the setup error on the pass rate of the dose verification. Results The results for the dose distribution using the gamma evaluation method showed that the pass rate (3%/3 mm) was less than 90% when the setup error were greater than 3 mm and 5 mm for the nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients and the cervical carcinoma patients. The pass rate of head direction were (64.7 ± 8.2) % and (63.3 ± 3.6) % on setup error of 5 mm and 7 mm for nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients and cervical carcinoma patients, respectively. Conclusions Setup error has great effect on the dose verification of the VMAT plans, the greater of the setup error, the lower of the pass rate. The setup error of head direction is more sensitive than other directions especially.

Objective To investigate the methods of isolation and culture in vitro and detect the surface markers of human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells. Methods Human umbilical cord Wharton' s jelly was separated and cut up as small as possible, and then cultured with α-MEM.Human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells could be obtained by culturing the tissue block adhered the bottle wall. And the cells were passaged at a certain density. The surface markers of human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells were detected by FACS when the cells were in Generation Three. Results Human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells were obtained from Wharton' s jelly conveniently, with fibroblast shape and stable proliferation and passage.CD29,CD44,CD105 were strongly expressed on human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells. But CD45,CD34,HLA-DR,HLA-G,CD80,CDs6 were not expressed. Conclusion Human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells can be obtained effectively from the culture of the tissue block, which provides a rich source of cells for tissue engineering.

Using the field sampling and indoor soil cultivation methods, the dynamic of ginseng rhizosphere soil microbial activity and biomass with three cultivated ages was studied to provide a theory basis for illustrating mechanism of continuous cropping obstacles of ginseng. The results showed that ginseng rhizosphere soil microbial activity and biomass accumulation were inhibited observably by growing time. The soil respiration, soil cellulose decomposition and soil nitrification of ginseng rhizosphere soil microorganism were inhibited significantly (P <0.05), in contrast to the control soil uncultivated ginseng (R0). And the inhibition was gradual augmentation with the number of growing years. The soil microbial activity of 3a ginseng soil (R3) was the lowest, and its activity of soil respiration, soil cellulose decomposition, soil ammonification and soil nitrification was lower than that in R0 with 56.31%, 86.71% and 90. 53% , respectively. The soil ammonification of ginseng rhizosphere soil microbial was significantly promoted compared with R0. The promotion was improved during the early growing time, while the promotion was decreased with the number of growing years. The soil ammonification of R1, R2 and R3 were lower than that in R0 with 32.43%, 80.54% and 66.64% separately. The SMB-C and SMB-N in ginseng rhizosphere soil had a decreased tendency with the number of growing years. The SMB-C difference among 3 cultivated ages was significant, while the SMB-N was not. The SMB of R3 was the lowest. Compared with R0, the SMB-C and the SMB-N were significantly reduced 77.30% and 69.36%. It was considered by integrated analysis that the leading factor of continuous cropping obstacle in ginseng was the changes of the rhizosphere soil microbial species, number and activity as well as the micro-ecological imbalance of rhizosphere soil caused by the accumulation of ginseng rhizosphere secretions.

World Science and Technology-Modernization of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2014;(12):2700-2707
With the deepening of modernization of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), the method of quantification and standardization of TCM (i.e., quantitative characterization of TCM) has been more and more widely accepted by researchers. Chemometrics processes complicated data of TCM through applied mathematics, statistics and com-puter technology. And multivariable study was introduced into the quantitative characterization of TCM with great achievements. This article reviewed existed problems of quantitative characterization in TCM, the principles, char-acteristics, limitations, commonly used statistical methods and application conditions on quantitative characteriza-tion of TCM. With this review, a reference for further study of quantitative characterization of TCM was provided and a further research idea of combination with main methods of chemometrics was given.

Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2004;0(07):-
Objective To solve the problems of low power laser instrument with single wavelength and instable output power as well as its incapability of studying the biological effect of low intensity laser and clinical treatment. Methods The AT89S52 singlechip and PID algorithm were used. Results The desired instrument could output the wave of 532nm green laser which could be adjusted continuously from 0mW to 30mW and the wave of 650nm red laser which could be adjusted continuously from 0mW to 50mW. The error of power could be controlled within 0.1mW. Conclusion The instrument can be used to study the biological effect of low intensity laser and clinical treatment with small volume, easy operation and high stability of laser output.
