1.The relationship between career resilience and voice behavior in organ transplantation specialist nurses: the mediating role of thriving at work

Objective:To investigate the status quo of thriving at work, career resilience and voice behavior in organ transplantation nurses, and mediation effects of thriving at work between the latter two.Methods:From June to August 2018,180 nurses with organ transplant qualification departments in two Grade A hospitals in Fuzhou, Fujian Province were investigated by the general situation survey form, Thriving At Work Scale, Career Resilience Scale and Voice Behavior Scale.Results:The scores of thriving at work, career resilience and voice behavior were 3.68 ± 0.65, 3.56 ± 0.61 and 3.42 ± 0.62. There was a pairwise positive correlation among the three: thriving at work, career resilience and voice behavior( r values were 0.270-0.664, all P<0.05). Thriving at work played a partial mediating role between career resilience and voice behavior ( B values were 0.138-0.611, all P<0.05). Conclusions:Ii is necessary to improve thriving at work, career resilience and voice behavior in organ transplantation nurses. Thriving at work is the intermediary factor between the latter two. The improvement of thriving at work and career resilience will help to promote organ transplant specialist nurses to make positive voice behavior.
2.Effect of Quercetin on Apoptosis of Platelets and Its Mechanism.

OBJECTIVE:
To investigate the effects of quercetin on the apoptosis of platelets and to analyze the intrinsic mechanism.
METHODS:
Firstly, the effects of quecetin on the apoptosis of platelets was detected by flow cytometry. Secondly, Western blot was used to detect the expression of apoptosis-related proteins in the platelets treated with quercetin for 2 and 4 day.
RESULTS:
By flow cytometry, it was found that the apoptosis of platelets in the quercetin-treated group (2, 4 and 8 μmol/L) was inhibited, the apoptosis rate of platelets in 2, 4 and 8 μmol/L quercetin group was 3.12%±0.32%, 2.89%±0.15% and 2.31%±0.28%, respectively, which were signigicantly lover than that in control group (P<0.01). With the increase of quecetin concentration, the proportion ratio of platelets significantly decreased in a concentration-dependent manner(r=-0.9985). Similar results were observed on the 4th day. Western blot showed that the treatment with quercetin (2, 4 and 8 μmol/L) promoted the expression of anti-apoptotic protein BCL-2, inhibited the expression of pro-apoptotic protein BAX, resulting in a significant increase in the ratio of BCL-2/BAX (P<0.01), thereby inhibiting the apoptosis of platelets. Similar results were observed on the 4th day.
CONCLUSION
Quercetin can inhibit platelet apoptosis by increasing the ratio of apoptosis-related protein BCL-2/BAX in a concentration-dependent manner.

3.Relation of MBL ExonI 54 and NFκB1-94ins/del ATTG Polymorphism with Fever during Neutropenia in Patients with Acute Leukaemia after Chemotherapy.

OBJECTIVETo explore the correlation between MBL ExonI 54 and NFκB1-94ins/del ATTG polymorphism and fever during neutropenia in patients with acute leukaemia (AL) (except M3) after first chemotherapy in Chinese Han population.
METHODSBlood samples obtained from 76 fever patients with AL during neutropenia episodes were detected to analyse single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) in the MBL ExonI 54 and NFκB1-94ins/del ATTG gene, and analyse the correlation between above-mentioned 2 polymorphisms and fever during neutropenia of AL patients after chemotherapy.
RESULTSIn 76 patients, no correlation were found between MBL ExonI 54 and NFκB1-94ins/del ATTG polymorphism and fever during neutropenia in patients with acute leukaemia after chemotherapy (P > 0.05). No significant relation were found in sex, age, underlying disease, disease status or degrees of neutropenia in febrile neutropenia between MBL ExonI 54 and NFκB1-94ins/del ATTG polymorphism (P > 0.05). However, patients with MBL ExonI 54 mutation presented longer febrile duration with a median of 5 days compared to 3 days of patients with wildtype MBL ExonI 54 genotype (P < 0.05).
CONCLUSIONSThere is no clear correlation between MBL ExonI 54 and NFκB1-94ins/del ATTG polymorphism and fever during neutropenia in patients with acute leukaemia after chemotherapy. However, the patients with MBL ExonI 54 mutation have been observed to present a longer febrile duration.

4.Seminal plasma anti-Müllerian hormone and inhibin B and serum inhibin B in predicting the outcome of routine IVF fertilization.

Objective:
To analyze the correlations of seminal plasma (sp) anti-Müllerian hormone (spAMH) and inhibin B (spINHB) and serum INHB (serINHB) with semen parameters in oligoasthenospermia patients and explore their value in predicting the outcome of routine in vitro fertilization (IVF).
METHODS:
We obtained the levels of spAMH, spINHB and serINHB as well as semen parameters from 88 infertile males undergoing IVF due to oligoasthenospermia or female uterine tubal factors from August 2016 to February 2017. Using the ROC curve and Pearson's correlation analysis, we examined the effects of the obtained parameters on the fertilization rate and assessed the correlation of the levels of spAMH, spINHB and serINHB with the semen parameters of the patients.
RESULTS:
Concerning the predictive value for the outcome of IVF, Pearson's correlation analysis showed that the area under the ROC curve (AUC) of spAMH was 0.807 (sensitivity = 84.6%, specificity = 76%, cut-off point = 3.529, P <0.001) and that of spINHB was 0.768 (sensitivity = 84.6%, specificity = 88.7%, cut-off point = 31.117, P = 0.002). The serINHB level was found positively correlated with sperm concentration (r = 0.346, P = 0.001), total sperm count (r = 0.378, P <0.001), sperm motility (r = 0.521, P <0.001), and the percentage of progressively motile sperm (r = 0.343, P = 0.001).
CONCLUSIONS
The levels of spAMH and spINHB can be used as laboratory indexes to predict the fertilization rate of routine IVF and are correlated with semen parameters in oligoasthenospermia patients, while that of serINHB has a positive correlation with the semen parameters of the patients.
