1.Updated Relationship of microRNA with male reproduction.
National Journal of Andrology 2015;21(11):963-966
Spermatogenesis is a unique process of cell differentiation, which involves the regulation of a series of complicated post-transcriptional expressions. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a class of none-coding RNAs that play important roles in regulating post-transcriptional gene silencing. MiRNAs are expressed in a cell-specific manner in spermatogenesis and participate in the maturation and differentiation of male germ cells. The specifically altered seminal plasma miRNA is closely related with spermatogenic dysfunction and therefore can be used as a novel biomarker for the diagnosis of male infertility. A deeper insight into these specific miRNAs may point a new direction in the studies of the molecular mechanisms of spermatogenesis and spermatogenic dysfunction.

Microbiology 1992;0(05):-
Viable but non-culturable state in bacterial cells as received uncultured microorganism has be- come the fundamental research issues in medical microbiology, epidemiology, general microbial ecology and sanitation quarantine since it was put forward in 1982. When in this state, bacterium are no longer able to grow and form colonies on conventional culture media, but maintain their patheogenicity, may become latent infection escaping detection to threaten enviroment and human security. With the development of modern molecular biology technique and metagenomics, it provide new research method and opportunity for uncul- tured microorganism in the environment. Recently, with the application of the metagenome technique, ge- netic fingerprinting technical etc, it becomes more and more popular. Simultaneously, along with this state become maturity in the laboratory. It provides a new research route for development and exploitation the uncultured microorganism.

Comparative medicine is a new crossing frontier branch subject based on laboratory animal science, and the content, aim and request of its research have been remarkably different from that of laboratory animal science.Acting as the methods, means and support conditions of advancment and development of medicine research, comparative medicine is an important platform ensuring the sustainable development of medicine, and is imperative for the medico to be educated with systemic comparative medicine.

Objective To investigate the mechanism of PBEF in pulmonary vascular endothelial permeability increasing after car-diopulmonory bypass ,in order to provide the basis for a better lung protective measures during cardiopulmonary bypass .Methods Animal models were established ,group A :the rats were transfected with the lentiviral AD-PBEFshRNA ;group B :the rats were took 30 min deep hypothermic circulatory arrest ;group C :the rats were took 30 min deep hypothermic circulatory arrest ,then trans-fected with the lentiviral AD-PBEFshRNA ;control group :the rats were anesthetized and established CPB tube ,without CPB by-pass .Lung tissue was detected with Western blotting and ELISA .Results PBEF ,phosphorylation of P38MAPK ,ERK ,MLC ,VE-cadherin ,FAK in group C had significant difference with group A ,B and the control group(P<0 .05) .VEGF ,MMP2 ,MMP9 ,W/D in group C had significant difference with group A ,B and the control group(P<0 .05) .The pathological results showed that rat lung tissue of the control group was normal ,while in group C ,it had severe pathological damage ,the pathological damage degree in group A ,B reduced compared to group C .Conclusion PBEF can through MAPK/PI3K-Akt/VEGF signaling pathway ,increase pulmonary vascular endothelial permeability .

Background The fundus autofluorescence (FAF)can reflect the function of retinal pigment epithelium(RPE) cell.As an invasive examination,it has been extensive used in retina disease, but there has not any report in syphilitic posterior uveitis. Objective This study was to characterize and contrast the FAF and fundus fluorescein angiography (FFA),indocyanine green angiography (ICGA) findings in patients with syphilitic posterior uveitis. Methods A retrospective series of cases observational study was designed. The clinical data of 27 eyes from 18 patients with syphilitic posterior uveitis were included in Shanghai First People's Hospital from 2010 May to 2012 October, and all the patients were diagnosed by serologic and ophthalmic tests. The patients were assigned to acute stage group(with the course <2 months)and chronic stage group(with the course ≥ 2 months).FFA,ICGA and FAF were performed respectively on all the patients, and the examination results were compared and analyzed. Results In the affected eyes with syphilitic posterior uveitis, the FFA image showed a retinal vasculitis sign and mottle-like fluorescence appearance in posterior pole and equator zone, and some affected eyes exhibited edema of optic disc and macula.Hypoautofluorescence zone was seen in the acute stage group and cystoid macular edema was found in the chronic stage group.ICGA presented with a wider damage of RPE,especially in the later phase of ICGA.A confluent of hyperautofluorescence with hypoautofluorescence in the posterior fundus, punctiform hyperautofluorescence as well as hypoautofluorescence in papillitis and macular edema were found on the FAF image. Conclusions The pathological basis of syphilitic posterior uveitis is retinal vasculitis and papillitis.ICGA indicates the damage of choroid membranes and RPE,and FAF reflects a metabolism disorder of RPE in the acute stage and atrophy and loss of RPE in the chronic stage.FAF is helpful for the diagnosis of syphilitic posterior uveitis as an assistant index.
