In this paper, the author proposed the development direction and study task for processing subject. Its development direction were study of scientific research method and establishment of technological platform for processing-patterns for the scientific research and production combination (enterprise as the mainstay). And its main task will be located at the inheritance of the traditional Chinese medicine pharmaceutical technology, the protection of processing culture as the non-material heritage, and the development of processing as a modern subject.

In this paper, based on the scientific research of TCM for many years and from the front-line point of view, the author explored the mainly common problems which had been existed in the TCM research, such as the establishment of the quality standard, the research of innovative drugs, the research ideas differentia between TCM and the natural drugs, the improvement of the research management model and other issues.
3.Influence of journals indexed by Science Citation Index (SCI) on Chinese medical journals based on the data of published articles by Chinese authors from 2000 - 2009.
Chinese Journal of Pediatrics 2011;49(4):276-281
OBJECTIVEThis study was designed to investigate the influence of journals indexed by Science Citation Index (SCI) on Chinese medical journals.
METHODArticles on medicine written by Chinese and the journals that published these articles from 2000 to 2009 were searched using Science Citation Index Expanded (SCI-E) database, and the status and variation tendency of the impact factors (IF) of these journals were analyzed. Data of articles on medicine included Chinese Scientific and Technical Paper and Citations Data (CSTPCD) from 2000 to 2008 were searched (the data of 2009 have not been released). The included articles and the time-dependent changing profile were studied. These outcomes were evaluated as the fixed base relative or link relative when compared with the data of 2000 or those of last year, respectively. Geometric mean was used when mean increase was calculated and IF distribution was described with median.
RESULTTotally 3774 articles from China were published by journals indexed by SCI-E in 2000, and the number of articles published by Chinese authors increased every year. In 2008, 16 714 articles were indexed by SCI-E, 442.87% higher than those of 2000. The increment was 161.54% higher than that of articles published in the journals indexed by CSTPCD (281.33%) during the same period. From 2000 to 2009, the geometric mean of increase in the number of published articles from China in journals indexed by SCI-E was 20.87% but it was 18.21% in CSTPCD. From 2000 to 2009, the median of IF of SCI-E indexed journals that published Chinese medical articles was 1.866, 2.073, 2.390, 2.702, 2.409, 2.496, 2.380, 2.218, 2.280 and 2.331, respectively, and they did not increase or even decreased.
CONCLUSIONThe number of the articles indexed by SCI-E increased year by year, much faster than that of CSTPCD. However, it does not necessarily mean the increase in impact.

Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2013;31(8):723-728
Background Studieshowed thaDelta-like ligand 4 (Dll4) participatein the deveopmenof retinal celland angiogenesis. The Dll4-Notch pathway and vasculaendothelial growth facto(VEGF) are thoughto be critical mediatorof neovascularization undehypoxiconditions. The relationship between Dll4 and VEGF inovery cleaand furtheresearch ineeded. Objective Thistudy wato observe the inhibition of Dll4 on experimental retinal neovascularization and VEGF expression.MethodThe retinal neovascularization animal model wainduced by oxygen-induced retinopathy (OIR) in 5-day-old SPF SD ratby rearing the new postnatal ratwith the motherattogethein closed box with oxygen level a(80±2) % till 12-day-old.The ratwere then raised in normal aifo5 days.Aftethat,2.5μl (0.5 μg) of Dll4 monoclonal antibody wainjected into the mid-vitreoucavity in the righeye(Dll4 injected group) and PBwaused in the same way in the fellow eye(PBcontrol group) in the 12-day-old rats.Retinawere isolated in the 17-day-old rats, and retinal vasculamorphology waexamined by adenosine diphosphatease (ADPase) staining of retinal flatmounts, and the endotheliocyte nuclei above the internal limiting membrane were counted in the retinal tissue-slices.Reverse transcription PC(RT-PCR) waused to detecthe mRNexpression level of Dll4,VEGF,VEGF receptor-1 (VEGFR-1),VEGFR-2 and neuropilin-1 mRNin the retinas.Statistical analysiwaperformed by the paired t-test.The care and use of the animalcomplied with the Guidance Suggestion issued by the Ministry of Science and Technology of Chinin 2006.ResultThe Dll4 mRNexpression in the retin(Dll4 mRNA/β-actin mRNA) wa0.22± 0.06 and 0.98 ± 0.13 in the Dll4 injected group and the PBcontrol group, respectively, with statistically significandifference (=21.839,P =0.000).No significandifferencewere found in the expression of the VEGF mRNA,VEGFR-1 mRNand VEGFR-2 mRNin the retinabetween the two group(t=0.463,P=0.649;=1.687,P=0.109;=-1.674,P=0.111).Compared with the PBcontrol group, the expression of neuropilin-1 mRNwasignificantly elevated in the Dll4-injected group (0.73±0.08 vs.0.64±0.07) (t=-2.677,P=0.015).ADPase staining showed thathere were much more new blood vesselin the Dll4 injected group than those of the PBcontrol group. The numbeof nuclei structurally adjacento the vitreal side of the internal limiting membrane wa(63.6± 11.6)/slide in the Dll4 injected group, which wamore than thaof the PBcontrol group a(35.1±5.2)/slide (=-7.879,P =0.000).ConclusionDll4 playan essential role in the procesof pathological angiogenesiin the retina.Dll4 ithoughto be feedback regulatoof VEGFR,which participatein the procesof restraining pathological vasculogenesis.

Objective To explore the relationship of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF),IFN-? and IL-4 and effect of Bude-sonide on their in asthmatic rats. Methods Thirty-six male SD rats were randomly divided into 3 groups:asthma group,Budesonide-treatment group and control group. On the first day of the experiment and the 8th day,the rat models of the asthma group and Budesonid treatment group were allergized by the OVA/Al(OH)3 through intraperitoneal injection, respectively. And starting from the 15th day, they were challenged by the OVA through atomization for 2 weeks.Control group was allergized and challenged by NS atomization.Budesonid treatment group was interfered in Budesonide inhalation before suscitation in 0.5 h.After 12 h the same inhal done was again in Budesonide group.Twenty-four hours after the last challenge, the rats in 3 groups were sacrificed, and blood and bronchoalveolar lavage fluid(BALF) were collected. The concentrations of IL-4,IFN-? and VEGF in serum and BALF were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Results The concentrations of IL-4 in serum and BALF in asthma group and Budesonide treatment group were significantly increased than those in control group(P
