Objective To analyze the clinical features of organic damages in Kawasaki disease(KD),and to improve the diagnosis and treatment level.Methods Two hundred and two cases with KD admitted in Children's Hospital Affiliated to Capital Institute of Pediatrics from Jan.2000 to Oct.2007 were reviewed,and their blood routine,urine,stool routine,liver function,kidney function,chest X-ray,and so on,were investigated.The incidence of organic damages in KD was evaluated.Results Among the 202 KD children,137 were male and 65 were female,the male-female ratio was 2.11.0.Most of them were infants,and 71.3% of them were younger than 3 years old.The damages of hematological system were detected in 78/202 cases(38.6%),respiratory system 76/202 cases(37.6%),cardiovascalar system 68/202 cases(33.7%),urinary system 52/202 cases(25.6%),digestive system 23/202 cases(11.4%),and central nervous system 3/202 cases(1.5%).On the other hand,3 cases complicated with septemia,1 case with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and 1 case with Henoch-Schonlein purpura.Conclusions The data indicate that the incidence of hematological system involvement in the sick-children with KD were highest,with more than 2 organs involved simaltaneously.Many organic damages were involved in KD and diverse clinical manifestation could be found.Physicians should understand not only the typical features but also the rare symptoms and organic damage so as to prevent misdiagnosis and improper treatment.J Appl Clin Pediatr,2009,24(1):31-32

Objective To study the level and clinical value of differential display code 3 (DD3) in peripheral blood of patients with prostate cancer.Methods 27 patients with prostate cancer from April 2014 to April 2015 in Affiliated Hospital of Hangzhou Normal University were researched.26 patients with non prostate diseases were selected as control group.DD3 mRNA levels were detected in peripheral blood of all patients.DD3 absorbance value of three groups of patients,the relationship between the relative content of DD3 mRNA and the clinical characteristics of prostate cancer,DD3 mRNA in urine and peripheral blood of patients with prostate cancer and benign prostatic hyperplasia were observed.Results In the patients with benign hyperplasia of prostate and non prostate diseases,a total of 4 patients did not appear to be DD3 specific bands.In prostate cancer patients,all patients were found to have DD3 specific bands.The relative content of patients with non prostate diseases was (0.18 ± 0.05) copies/mL.The relative content of benign prostatic hyperplasia patients was (0.30 ± 0.09) copies/mL.The relative content of prostate cancer patients was (0.78 ± 0.23) copies/mL.The positive expression rates of DD3 mRNA in peripheral blood and urine of patients with prostate cancer were 85.18％ (23/27),51.85％ (14/27),respectively,which were significantly higher than those in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia[21.42％ (6/28),7.14％ (2/27)] (x2 =22.416,13.319,all P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion The specific expression of DD3 mRNA in peripheral blood of patients with prostate cancer can be used as an effective basis for judging the patients' condition,and it has certain value for the treatment and prognosis of patients with prostate cancer.

Objective To observe the changes of serum ferritin (SF)in neonates with mechanical ventilation and its clinical significance in the ventilation-induced lung injury (VILI). Methods The study was carried out in 36 neonates with mechanical ventilation and 31 neonates without mechanical ventilation in neonate intensive care unit(NICU).SF level in venous blood was measured on 1,24,48,72 hours after mechanical ventilation and 24 hours after mechanical ventilation removal by radioimmunoassay (RIA ).SF level of non-mechanical ventilation group were determined at the same time. Objective:To evaluate the acute oral toxicity , skin irritation and skin allergy of Thuja essential oil ( TEO) , and pro-vide experimental basis for the clinical use of TEO .Methods:The acute oral toxicity was measured by Horn ’ s assay .Totally 40 KM mice were divided into four groups and intragastrically administered with TEO at different dose of 21.50, 10.00, 4.64 and 2.15 g · kg-1 .After the 14-day observation, the death number and toxic manifestations were recorded and observed , and LD50 was calculated by checking the Horn's form of LD50 .The skin irritation test was performed on healthy adult white rabbits .Totally 9 rabbits were divid-ed into 3 groups randomly , and TEO at the concentration of 100%, 50%and 25%was painted on the skin of the rabbits .Edible vege-table oil was used as the negative control .The erythema and edema of the treated skin were evaluated and scored .Delayed skin hyper-sensitivity reaction was used to investigate the allergy of TEO .Totally 30 white guinea pigs were randomly divided into 3 groups:TEO group, the negative control (edible vegetable oil) and the positive group (1%2, 4-dinitrochlorobenzene).After the intracutaneous in-duction stage and local induction stage , TEO was used to activate the hypersensitive reaction .The skin response was observed and scored after the 24-hour and 48-hour activation.Results:The mice in 21.50 g · kg-1 TEO treatment group were all dead , while only a part of the mice in 10.00 and 4.64 g · kg-1 TEO treatment groups were dead , and no mice died in 2.15 g · kg-1 TEO treatment group.According to the Horn's form of LD50 , LD50 of TEO was 9.26 g · kg -1 for male mice and 7.94 g · kg -1 for female mice.The results of skin irritation test indicated the strong irritation effects of TEO .However , the irritation of TEO was reduced after the dilution , and 25%TEO showed no irritation to the skin of rabbits .The results of delayed skin hypersensitivity reaction showed obvious erythema and edema induced by 2, 4-dinitrochlorobenzene , while no obvious erythema and edema were found in TEO treated guinea pigs , indi-cating non-allergic effect of TEO .Conclusion:TEO has strong skin irritation in rabbits , while no obvious oral toxicity in mice and skin allergy in guinea pigs .

Objective: To evaluate the genetic toxicity of Thuja essential oil by salmonella reversion test (AMES test) and mammal micronucleus test.Methods: TA97, TA98, TA100 and TA102 were used in AMES test to evaluate the mutagenesis of Thuja essential oil.Mouse bone marrow micronucleus test was conducted to assess the chromosome toxicity of the drug.Results: Both in S9 present and absent situations, the numbers of reverse mutation of Thuja essential oil at different doses for the four strains were all less than 1-fold of that of solvent control, and the difference had no statistical significance (P>0.05), suggesting negative mutation.The micronucleus test indicated that Thuja essential oil had no influence on the rate of mouse bone marrow micronucleus (P>0.05).Conclusion: Thuja essential oil shows no obvious genetic toxicity.

Objective To introduce the clinical types of perforator branches of anterosuperior malleolus flap and explore its application.Methods Anterosuperior malleolus flap coupling with dorsal pedal flap was used for repairing the soft tissue defect of hands in 18 patients,in which anterosuperior malleolus flap-dorsal pedal single flap in 12 cases,anterosuperior malleolus flap-dorsal pedal bilobate flap in 4 cases,anterosuperior malleolus flap-dorsal pedal trilobate flap in 2 cases;Anterosuperior malleolus retrograde island (bone) flap was used in recovering pedal soft tissue in 22 patients,the flap pedicled from stem of anterior tibial artery in 16 cases,dorsal pedal flap-anterosuperior malleolus flap in 2 cases,the flap from perforate vessels without injuring the anterior main tibial artery in 2 cases,the bone flap combined with the distal of tibia in 2 cases.Results In the 18 cases of hands,17 cases survived,and 1 case of flap mild necrosis at the distal site took a second-phase skin-grafting to repair.Twenty cases of anterosuperior malleolus retrograde island (bone) flap survived,and the other 2 cases needed secondary skin-grafting to repair the necrosis edge of flaps because of venous limited.After a follow-up from 3 to 6 months,30 cases showed the satisfied postoperative outlook,with the good healing of the donor sites.Typing the 40 cases according to the location of perforator branches of the anterosuperior malleolus flap,20 cases locate in the medial of anterior tibial muscle,16 cases locate between the anterior tibial muscle and extensor hallucis longus,4 cases locate between extensor hallucis longus and extensor digitorum longus.Conclusion Knowing the clinical types of the perforator branches of anterosuperior malleolus flap is not only helpful for the accurate processes of operations、preventing cutaneous branches,but also improving the success rate of surgery.

Three osmotolerant yeasts were isolated from three batches of "swollen can" soy sauce produced by a Guangdong condiment plant. These strains grew faster in the media containing 50%～60% glucose or 15% NaCl than in common yeast media. The three yeasts were identified as Pichia etchellsii by using morphological characteristics, physiological and biochemical tests.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the effect of different pressure oxygen pre-breathing in preventing decompression sickness of rats.

METHODSForty male SD rats were randomly divided into 4 groups: decompression sickness (DCS) group and three oxygen pre-breathing groups with 1 ATA, 2 ATA and 3 ATA pressure respectively. The rats of DCS group were placed in the hyperbaric chamber and the chamber was compressed evenly within 3 minutes to depths of 7 absolute atmosphere(ATA) and held at the designated depth for 60 min, then decompressed (3 min) at constant speed to the surface pressure. After that, the rats were taken out for further detection. While the rats of oxygen pretreatment groups pre-breathed different pressure oxygen for 20 min before entering into chamber. The mortality and behavioral of rats were observed with 30 min post decompression. The dry/wet ratio of the lung, protein levels in the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF), and the inflammatory cytokine tumor necrosis factor (TNF-alpha) expression were also tested.

RESULTSCompared with that of the DCS group, the mortality and morbidity of oxygen pre-breathe groups didn't change obviously. But the total BALF protein level and the inflammatory cytokine TNF-alpha expression of 1 ATA oxygen pre-breathe group were obviously decreased, while the dry/wet ratio of lung as obviously increased instead (P < 0.05).

CONCLUSIONAlthough preoxygenation can' t obviously change the mortality and mobidity of rats, normal pressure oxygen pre-breathing can mitigate the protein infiltration in BALF and the expression of inflammatory cytokine in lung tissue.

Alzheimer disease (AD) is a common neurodegenerative disease in the elderly, but nowadays the pathogenesis of AD is unclear. Myeloid cell 2 trigger receptor (TREM2) is one of the most famous and most common rare mutations in neurodegenerative disease research, and its functional site mutation can significantly increase the incidence of AD. In this paper, we summary the structure, localization, and function and related signaling pathways of TREM2, review the latest epide?miological findings of TREM2 associated with the pathogenesis of AD, and speculate on the possible role of TREM2 in the progression of this disease, as well as the expression of TREM2 and the role of soluble TREM2 in AD brain are further elucidated. Based on the potential protective effect of TREM2 in the pathogenesis of AD, Therefore, targeting TREM2 may provide new opportunities and a reference for AD treatment. As the TREM2 variant appears to be widely involved in neurodegenerative diseases, there is an urgent need to further study the function of TREM2 in the brain and to find its ligands involved in TREM2-mediated signaling transduction and its specific role in AD pathogenesis.
