OBJECTIVE: To analyze the drug use in outpatient and emergency departments of our hospital.METHODS: A total of 12 000 prescriptions in outpatient and emergency departments in 2006 were randomly sampled for the analysis of drug use.RESULTS: 43% of the drugs were used singly and 13% were combined use of 4 or more than 4 drugs.Oral administration and intravenous injection were the leading routes of administration.3.10% of the prescriptions were irrational in dosage, repeated drug use, dosage regimen, use of dissolvants, drug combination, and drug choice etc.CONCLUSION: The drug use in the outpatient and emergency departments of our hospital were rational basically, yet there are still some problems remains to be tackled.Great importance should be attached to the prescription check.

Abstract: Objective To screening new compounds that can inhibit the growth and biofilm formation of Staphylococcus aureus. Methods Compounds that can inhibit the growth of Staphylococcus aureus were screened from the FDA approved drug library by 96 well plates. The absorbance value of 600 nm wavelength (OD600) was measured by Microplate Reader to detect the growth of Staphylococcus aureus planktonic cells in the culture supernatant. The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of ozanimod against Staphylococcus aureus clinical isolates were detected by micro broth dilution method. The inhibitory effect of sub-inhibitory concentrations of ozanimod on the biofilm formation of Staphylococcus aureus was detected by crystal violet staining. Results This study found that ozanimod could significantly inhibit the growth of Staphylococcus aureus SA113 (screening reference strain), and the MIC was 25.00 μmol/L. The MIC of ozanimod against 119 clinical isolates of Staphylococcus aureus [65 isolates of methicillin sensitive (MSSA) and 54 isolates of methicillin resistant (MRSA)] was 12.50 or 25.00 μmol/L. The MIC50 and MIC90 of ozanimod against the 119 Staphylococcus aureus isolates all were 25.00 μmol/L. This study found that 6.25, 12.50, 25.00 μmol/L of ozanimod could significantly inhibit the biofilm formation of 2 MSSA and 2 MRSA. The sub-MIC concentration of ozanimod (12.50 μmol/L) could significantly inhibit the biofilm formation of 14 MSSA and 11 MRSA, but had no inhibitory effect on the growth of planktonic cells of these Staphylococcus aureus isolates. Conclusion Ozanimod can inhibit the growth of Staphylococcus aureus, including MRSA, and has good antibacterial activity. The sub-MIC concentration of ozanimod could significantly inhibit the biofilm formation of Staphylococcus aureus.

Haemophilia is caused by lack of coagulation factor VIII or IX in patients′blood with inadequate hemostasis.Currently recombinant coagulation factor VII(rFVII)produced in different cells is used against clini-cal bleeding of haemophilia patients. To enhance the production and activity of rFVII;some eukaryotic cells such as baby hamster kidney(BHK);Chinese hamster ovary(CHO);insect cell and fish embryo;were used to express rFVII.Meanwhile;the effect of functional gene on the activity of rFVII and the limitation of rFVII production caused by post-translational modification were investigated by different methods. The role of rFVII in hemostasis;synthesis of rFVII in different eukaryotic cells and impact on production of post-translational modification are reviewed in this article.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2004;0(08):-
The cerebral blood flow of infant is effected by physiological and pathological factors. As the cerebrovascular autoregulation of neonates is poor,in pathological cases, especially when hypoxemia and hypercapnia impaired regulation of its own, lead to changes in cerebral blood flow, then resulting in severe brain injury. It has made enormous progress in the research on the changes of cerebral blood flow in newborns in recent years. In normal infants, cerebral blood flow velocities is positively correlated to gestational age and body weight, and increase gradually with day-age in the first week after birth. The cerebral blood flow of newborn with brain injury can present as insufficiency,over-perfusion or low speed high-resistance earlier and high speed low-resistance later.Different results may be related to the duration and severity of asphyxia, but all of those are signs of damage of self-regulatory function of cerebral blood flow.Cerebral hemodynamic change is the important pathogenesis mechanism of brain injury.

Objective:To investigate the possibility and feasibility of the simultaneous coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) with tumor excision in patients suffering from tumor combined with coronary artery disease(CAD). Methods:From August 2000 to July 2006, ten patients who were suspected of tumor (four patients suffered from urinary system tumor, two digestive system tumor, and four pulmonary tumor) with coronary artery disease were successfully treated by simultaneous surgeries. Surgical incisions were chose by the different tumor position. All carried on the CABG before tumor excision except one case. The two cases had cardiopulmonary bypass CABG, the rest eight had off-pump CABG. Follow-up was conducted after operation. Results:The combined operations were satisfied. There was no in-hospital mortality, no postoperative hemorrhage, no myocardial ischemia or infarction, with few complications. Postoperative in-hospital stay was 10-34 days, average 22.4 days. All discharged in cure. One patient lost the follow-up. Nine patients were followed up from six months to seven years three months. Two patients died from metastasis, and the others survived with satisfied follow-up without cardiovascular events. Conclusion:The simultaneous coronary artery bypass grafting with tumor excision for patients who suffer from either CAD with benign or malignant tumor is safe and feasible with satisfied short-and long-term survival.

Objective:To study the effect of B7-1 costimulatory molecule in inducing tumor immunity. Methods:The lymphocytes were examined in vitro, for both proliferation induces(PI) and specific cytotoxic activity,H22 mice were challenged subcutaneously either by the mock following which the latency, survival time and tumor mass growth were noted. Results:The H22-B7-1 cells more effectively induced the proliferation of effecter lymphocytes and the generation of specific lytic activity against H22 cells. The H22-B7-1 cells demonstrated slower rate(P
