Chinese Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2015;30(17):1293-1295
Chronic kidney disease-mineral and bone disorder (CKD-MBD) refers to a series of clinical symptoms and biochemical and imaging abnormalities caused by minerals and calcium phosphorus metabolic disorder, which is associated with chronic kidney disease (CKD).Since 2006 ,the concept of CKD-MBD was put forward for the first time, doctors are increasingly paying more attention to it.This review introduces the epidemiological characteristics, clinical manifestation, examination methods, diagnostic criteria and the research progress of treatment and prevention of CKD-MBD.
6.Curcumin affects expression of HGF and TGF-β1 of lung tissue in pulmonary fibrosis
Journal of Chinese Physician 2011;13(11):1468-1472
ObjectiveTo explore the effect of Curcumin on TGF-β1 and HGF in pulmonary fibrosis and the effect of different concentrations of Curcumin on the expression of HGF and TGF-β1 in pulmonary fibrosis.Methods90 health male SD rats were randomly divided into six groups as follows:the control group ( group A),model group ( group B),prednisolone-treated group ( group C),and groups of low ( D group),middle( group E) and high( group F) dose curcumin (50,100,and 200 mg/kg,respectively).Animal model of pulmonary fibrosis was produced in SD rats by the endotracheal bleomycin, samples were obtained on days 7,14,and 28.The expression of HGF and TGF-β1 were measured by RT-PCR and Westem blot.ResultsThe light density values (0.693 ±0.028) and gray value (0.96 ±0.10)of TGF-β1 on day 28 of group A was the lowest, while the light density values ( 1.586 ±0.020) and gray value ( 1.77 ±0.15 ) of group B was the highest, the light density values (0.881 ± 0.032) and gray value ( 1.19 ±+ 0.12 )of group F was lower than group B.But the light density value and gray value of HGF showed reverse, the light density values and gray value of HGF on day 28 of group F was the highest, there was no statistical difference between group B and group D ( P > 0.05).ConclusionsThe protective effect of Cucumin against pulmonary fibrosis may be through stimulating the activity of HGF and inhibiting the activity of TGFβ1 in a dose-dependent manner.
8.Diagnostic significance of humoral and cellular immune function detection in patients with syphilis
International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2017;38(9):1222-1224
Objective To investigate and analyze the diagnostic significance of humoral and cellular immune function detection in the patients with syphilis. Methods Eighty-six cases of syphilis without anti-syphilis treatment in our hospital were selected as the research subjects(syphilis),including 26 cases of primary syphilis,39 cases of secondary syphilis 21 cases of latent syphilis, and 30 healthy subjects were selected as the control group. Then the humoral immunity and cellular immunity levels were compared between the two groups. Results The levels of IgG,IgA and IgM in the syphilis group were significantly increased compared with the control group(P<0.05).The IgG,IgA and IgM levels had no statistical difference between the primary syphilis patients and control group(P>0.05),which in the patients with secondary syphilis and latent syphilis were significantly increased compared with the control group, moreover the increase in the secondary syphilis was most significant(P<0.05);the CD3+,CD4+,CD4+/CD8+ and NK levels in different stages of syphilis were significantly decreased compared with the control group(P<0.05),while the CD8+ level was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05),in which the change in the secondary syphilis patients was most significant. Conclusion The humoral immune in the patients with syphilis is hyperfunction, while cellular immune is dysfunction, the patients present the overall immune function disorder, therefore the humoral and cellular immunity detection has a certain clinical value in the diagnosis of syphilis.
9.Hand, foot and mouth disease caused by Coxsackievirus A6
International Journal of Pediatrics 2021;48(5):340-344
Hand, foot and mouth disease(HFMD)refers to infectious diseases caused by enteroviruses, of which coxsackievirus A16(CA16)and enterovirus 71(EV71)are the most common. In recent years, studies have found that the enterovirus pathogen spectrum of HFMD has changed. The new lineage of coxsackievirus A6(CoxA6)has gradually become a dominant strain, and it has spread in Europe, Asia Pacific and North America. The outbreak of CoxA6 related HFMD poses new challenges to the prevention and control of HFMD.Therefore, this article reviews the etiology, epidemiology, clinical features, laboratory diagnosis, preventive measures and vaccine research of CoxA6, and analyzes the genotypes and subtypes of HFMD-related CoxA6 strains, in order to provide new clues for the prevention and control of HFMD.
10.Comparison of clinical characteristics of acute and chronic central serous chorioretinopathy
Journal of Chinese Physician 2021;23(5):654-657
Objective:To compare clinical characteristics of acute and chronic central serous chorioretinopathy (CSC).Methods:41 patients with CSC in the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University were studied, according to the course, they were divided into acute central serous chorioretinopathy group (A group, 29 eyes of 29 cases) and chronic central serous chorioretinopathy group (B group, 12 eyes of 12 cases). All patients underwent the best corrected visual acuity (BCVA), subretinal fluid thickness (SRF) and subfoveal choroidal thickness (SFCT) examination. The imaging characteristics of fundus fluorescein angiography (FFA) and optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) were compared between the two groups. Results:The BCVA, SRF and SFCT in A group were higher than those in B group ( P<0.05). FFA in group A showed that the leakage of ink diffusion or smoke type fluorescein leakage. FFA in group B showed that the fluorescein leakage was single or multiple in macular area, and atrophy of retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) cells was observed. OCTA of group A showed that the choroidal capillary layer showed high blood flow signal, low blood flow signal around the outside, or coarse granular high signal, and no choroidal neovascularization (CNV) was found. OCTA in group B showed that the image of choroidal capillary layer was similar to that of group A, but in group B, 2 eyes (2/12) had CNV with obvious morphology. Conclusions:Clinical characteristics of acute and chronic central serous chorioretinopathy are different. OCTA has definite application value in follow-up and detection of CNV.
