1.Effect of High Dose Fluimuci1 on the Pulmonary Function of Patients with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2006;12(7):618-619
ObjectiveTo explore the effective methods to improve the pulmonary function and life quality of patients with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF).Methods48 IPF patients were randomly divided into two groups, each group includes 24 cases. Group A was treated with prednisone 0.5 mg/kg per day orally, reduce half of the dosage 4 weeks later and Fluimucil 600 mg three times per day orally, while group B with prednisone 0.5 mg/kg per day orally, reduce half of the dosage 4 weeks later. The clinical manifestation, pulmonary function testing, high-resolution CT of the chest, arterial blood gas analysis were observed before and 3 months after treatment. ResultsThere was significant difference in Group A (P<0.05) but no significant difference in Group B (P>0.05) before and after treatment in the pulmonary function testing and arterial blood gas analysis. There was significant difference after treatment in the pulmonary function testing and arterial blood gas analysis between Group A and Group B (P<0.05).There was significant difference after treatment in the clinical manifestation, high-resolution CT of the chest and between Group A and Group B (P<0.05). ConclusionHigh dose Fluimucil can ameliorate the pulmonary function, relieve the symptom of short breath of patients with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
4.Clinical observation on the effect of resection of eyelid tumor and stageⅠ recovery
International Eye Science 2014;(8):1535-1536
AIM: To investigate clinical effects of local resection of eyelid tumors and pathological examination or frozen section examination as well as the stage I recovery.
METHODS: For all 92 cases 92 eyes of eyelid tumor patients who underwent local resection, reconstruction in stage Ⅰ and routine pathological examination ( 37 cases of suspected malignant tumors using frozen section examination. If it was malignant, excision by Moths surgery) . Using free palate mucosa autograft in stage I or reconstruction by Hughes surgery combined with eye flaps repaired eyelid defects.
RESULTS: The postoperative pathological diagnosis:52 cases were benign tumors, and 40 cases malignant tumors. All cases of eye flaps and hard palate mucosa grafts were survived. Followed up for more than 6mo, no tumor were recurred. The appearance and function of eyelid were satisfactory.
CONCLUSION: In this group of cases, nearly half of eyelid tumors are malignant tumors. It should be treated and operated as early as possible. For suspected malignant tumors, we use frozen section examination to confirm its properties in order to excision cleanly in stageⅠ, reducing the recurrence and metastasis. According to the eyelid defect after resection, we could do repair operation in stage Ⅰ. The inner larger defect is repaired by using hard palate mucosa transplantation or Hughes surgery. The outer layer of the eyelid defect is repaired by using eye flap glide, the free flap, the kite flap, the simple suture, etc. It should be careful when using the hard palate mucosa transplantation in the upper eyelid defect.

AIM: To investigate the role of retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) in the growth of Müller cells using a co-culture system in vitro . METHODS: Müller cells were cocultured with RPE cells under both normoxic and hypoxic conditions in Transwell chamber culture system. Müller cell proliferation was evaluated by MTT assay. The number of cells which migrate through micropores and stay on the outer bottom side of insert systems were observed and counted. RESULTS: The activities of proliferation and migration of Müller cells when cocultured with RPE cells were significantly higher than those of the Müller cells when cultured alone at all time points under both normoxic and hypoxic conditions. However, for both the coculture and control groups, there is no significant difference between the measurements at 3 and 6 hours. CONCLUSION: Evidence suggests that RPE, when co-cultured with Müller cells, can stimulate migration and proliferation of Müller cells under both hypoxic and normoxic conditions in a time-dependent manner; how-ever, there is no evidence to support the synergetic interaction of RPE and Müller cells co-cultured under hypoxic conditions.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1992;0(05):-
Objective To explore the effect of massage therapy on dynamic changes of motor function and muscle tension in children with spastic cerebral palsy(CP).Methods Fifty-four(31 male,23 female, average age 5.18 years) hospitalized children with spastic CP were randomly selected, with 40 minutes a day to 24 weeks of massage therapy to assess and analyze the dynamic changes of motor function. No other treatment and drug were used.SPSS 11.01 software was used to analyze the data. Results Treated by massage for 24 weeks process, the basic gross motor ability had gradually increasing tendency, and there was significant difference between before and after treatment(P

International Eye Science 2014;(8):1555-1557
AIM: To compare and analyze the stereopsis of intermittent exotropia children under the different backgrounds of dynamic stimuli and static stimuli.
METHODS: We collected 56 children ( male 26, female 30 with intermittent exotropia at the age from 5y to 12y and examined their stereopsis under the different backgrounds of dynamic stimuli and static stimuli using a multidimensional sense perception training software. The differences between the dynamic stereopsis and static stereopsis were compared.
RESULTS: Totally 17 cases ( 30%) had both dynamicstereopsis and static stereopsis, 39 cases ( 70%) had either dynamic or static stereopsis deficit, only 10 cases ( 26%) had dynamic stereopsis, 25 cases ( 64%) static stereopsis left and 4 cases ( 10%) were without any form of stereopsis. The positive rate of dynamic stereopsis was better than the positive rate of static stereopsis, with statistical significance (P<0. 05).
CONCLUSION: Dynamicstereopsis is better than the static stereopsis to intermittent exotropia children.
