Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2003;0(10):-
Objective To explore the correlation of the apoptosis of peripheral blood mononuclear cell (PBMC) with plasma 8-iso-prostaglandin F2? (8-iso-PGF2?) level in order to confirm the peroxidation damage of hyperbilirubinemia in neonates with jaundice.Me-thods One hundred and twenty-nine neonates who were 2 to 7 days old were divided into 4 groups:slight jaundice (43 cases),moderate jaundice (38 cases),serious jaundice (18 cases),and healthy control(30 cases)groups.Plasma 8-iso-PGF2? levels were assayed by enzyme immunoassay(EIA),and the apoptosis rates of PBMC were determined by flow cytometry. Results 1.There was no significant difference in the apoptosis rate of PBMC between normal and slight jaundice neonates (P=0.108);apoptosis rate of PBMC was increasing with the aggravation of jaundice.2.Plasma 8-iso-PGF2? level in normal neonates was 14.74?6.71 ng/L,there was no difference between normal neonates and neonates with slight jaundice(P=0.502).Plasma 8-iso-PGF2? levels in neonates with moderate and serious jaundice were much higher(Pa=0).3.Positive correlation existed between plasma 8-iso-PGF2? level and PBMC apoptosis rate (r=0.602 P=0).Conclusions Hyperbilirubinemia can induce peroxidation damage, resulting in increase of PBMC apoptosis.Plasma 8-iso-PGF2? level can accurately eva-luate the peroxidation damage in neonates with jaundice.

International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2014;(14):1914-1915,1918
Objective To compare the reliability of erythrocyte parameter mean corpuscular volume(MCV)and mean corpuscu-lar hemoglobin(MCH)for screening thalassaemia trait. Methods A fresh venous blood sample with the cut-off value of MCV was sent to 21 hospitals of Zhuhai city for conduct the full blood cell analysis within 1 d.Then the inter-and intra-coefficient of varia-tion (CV)as well as bias values of MCV and MCH were calculated and compared. In addition,10 EDTA-anticoagulant venous blood samples were divided into two parts, the effects of stored temperature and time on MCV and MCH were observed. Results The coefficient of variation(CV)of MCV (4.1%)was significantly greater than that of MCH (2.8%)among 21 laboratories, the qualification rate of MCH detection results was 100%,which was significantly higher than 66.7% of MCV (P <0.05).When the whole blood samples were stored under 2 kinds of the temperature condition(room temperature and refrigeration)for 72 h,MCH changed little (P >0.05).When these samples were stored under the refrigerated condition for 72 h,MCV had no statistically sig-nificant difference compared with the instant detection results of MCV (P >0.05),when stored at the room temperature for 48 h, MCV was significantly increased (P <0.05),MCV had statistical difference in storage for 48 h between the room temperature and the refrigeration. Conclusion Among laboratories and under different temperature conditions, the reproducibility of MCH is better than that of MCV and is more stable than MCV.MCH as the clinical first-line screening for thalassaemia is more reliable than MCV.

Chinese Journal of Geriatrics 2011;30(9):757-759
Objective To study T lymphocyte subsets levels in acute zoster patients and investigate its relation to the zoster associated pain.MethodsAccording to the visual analogue scales(VAS) in the acuter phase, 60 patients with herpes zoster were divided into two groups: group A (VAS≤6) and group B (VAS>6). According to the follow-up results, patients were divided into another two groups: group C (PHN not developed) and group D (PHN developed). 25 healthy volunteers with a similar age and gender range as the patients were recruited as control group. T lymphocyte subsets were detected by fluorescence-activated cell sorter (FACS). ResultsThere was no significant difference in gender and age between groups (P>0.05). T lymphocyte subsets were significantly decreased in four groups compared with the control group (P<0.05), and the CD4 +subsets in group B were significantly decreased compared with group A (P<0.05). The CD4 +/CD8 + ratios were significantly higher in group A and C than in control group, higher in group A than B and higher in group C than in group D (P<0.05). The visual analogue scales(VAS) in group D were significantly higher than in group C (P< 0.05).Conclusions Cellular immunity function is decreased with the lower percent of the T lymphocytes subsets in the elderly patients with acute herpes zoster, especially in severe patients. The CD4 +/CD8 + ratios and the visual analogue scales may be associated with the the risk of post herpetic neuralgia.
9.The diagnostic value of 18F-FDG PET/CT in cervical cancer
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2016;23(20):3053-3056,3057
Objective To assess the clinical value of 18F -FDG PET/CT in the diagnosis of primary, suspected recurrent and metastatic cervical cancer. Methods The results of 67 women who were suspected suffering from cervical cancer had undergone Color dopplar ultrasound,HPV,TCT,some of them do CT,MRI and SCC -Ag examination from April 2013 to April 2015 were retrospectively analyzed.Their 18F -FDG PET/CT images with the other test results were compared. The presence or absence of tumor was confirmed by histopathology. Results In the 67 patients,22 cases were finally diagnosed as primary cervical tumors, and 22 cases of recurrent and metastatic cervical tumors. In all the patients with cervical cancer,18F -FDG PET/CT found a total of 41 cases, which had contributed to the diagnosis in 94.0%,But 3 cases had not been found. For the detection of primary cervical tumors, 18F -FDG PET/CT was diagnostically wrong in 4.2%,For the detection of recurrent and metastatic cervical tumors, 18F -FDG PET/CT was diagnostically wrong in 7.0%,and 2 cervical adenocarcinoma patients were not diagnosed by 18F -FDG PET/CT.Conclusion The study showed a significantly higher sensitivity of 18F -FDG PET/CT for the detection of primary, recurrent and metastatic cervical cancer than the other auxiliary examination.18F -FDG PET/CT for the diagnosis of cervical cancer can be worth popularization.

Chinese Journal of Immunology 1985;0(03):-
Objective:To explore the role of nuclear transcription factor and the effect of nasal tolerance on EAN.Methods:75 male Wistar rats were divided into five groups: Group NS, EAN, EANL, EANM, EANH. The expression of IFN-?, TGF-?1, IL-10 mRNA and P65 protein were detected in spleen by using of RT-PCR and western blot. Results:The expression of IFN-? mRNA were the highest at early phase, those of TGF-?1 and IL-10 augmented significantly at recovery phase. In Group EANM and EANH, the severity of clinical signs and the infiltration of inflammatory cells decreased. IFN-? mRNA and P65 protein expression was lower than that in Group EAN, however, IL-10 and TGF-?1 mRNA increased markedly. At the same time, the expression of P65 protein were positively correlated with those of IFN-? mRNA, negatively correlated with those of TGF-?1 and IL-10 mRNA.Conclusion:NF-?B may play a vital role in EAN. Nasal administration of antigen may effectively prevent Wistar rat from inducing EAN in some degree, which may associate with the inhibition of NF-?B.
