2.Effect of propofol on hypoxic pulmonary vasoconstriction in rats
Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology 1995;0(12):-
Objective To investigate the effect of propofol on hypoxic pulmonary vasoconstriction(HPV)and assess the underlying mechanism in rats. Methods Twenty male SD rats weighing 300-400 g were.anesthetizedwith intraperitoneal phenobarbital.Heart and lungs were removed after thoracotomy.Pulmonary.arterial rings 4 mmin length and 1.0-1.4 mm in diameter were prepared and suspended in Earl solution maintained at 37℃ with a pHof 7.40 and aerated with 20% O_2-5% CO_2-25% N_2.The rings were stimulated with phenylephrine(PE)10~(-6)mol?L~(-1) with different preloads(300,500,700,900,1 100 mg).The isometric tension of the arterial rings wasmeasured. The optimal preload was determined to be 900 mg which allowed best contractility.Hypoxia was inducedby aerating the solution with 95% N_2-5% CO_2 and the flow rate was adjusted to maintain PO_2 of the solution at40-20 mm Hg and pH at 7.40.HPV of the rings were recorded. Then propofol was added to achieve a finalconcentration of 1,3,10,30,100 ?mol?L~(-1) and HPV was again induced and the changes in HPV wererecorded. In addition the effects of propofol(10,30 ?mol?L~(-1))on vasoconstriction produced by KCI and PE werealso measured. Results The lower doses of propofol(10 ?mol?L~(-1))significantly inhibited HPV(P
3. Effect of physical properties of microcrystalline cellulose on its compressibility and compactability
Chinese Pharmaceutical Journal 2013;48(2):116-122
OBJECTIVE: To study correlation between physical properties and compressibility and compactablility of Microcrystalline cellulose. METHODS: After determining the physical properties such as particle size distribution, moisture capacity, angle of repose, bulk density, tapped density, the powder was tableted by the Korsch XP1 at the same filling height, and data derived from heckle model, plasticity constant, cumulative elastic recovery, tensile strength and it's changes with time were evaluated. RESULTS: The physical properties of microcrystalline cellulose had great effect on its compactablility as well as cumulative elastic recovery out of die, but not on compressibility. And pressure applied correlated closely with changes of tensile strength in storage, which was intensified by the influence of water in powder on the particle size. CONCLUSION: Microcrystalline cellulose shows excellent compressibility, however, particle size reduction is able to decrease the compactability. Since the water in powder can increase particle size by changing internal structure of particles and plays a prerequisite role in lubrication and adherence, the variation of water content may weaken the compatability of microcrystalline cellulose and worsen the mechanical strength stability of tablets in storage.

Chinese Journal of Immunology 2001;0(07):-
Objective:To prepare the canine multivalence serum for emergent prevation and theatmentor canines infection disease. Methods:Selecting 20 healthy Kunming dog, which is more than one years old.The canines were immuned by regulary with Canine distemper virus(CDV),Canine parvovirus virus(CPV),Infectious canine hepatitis virus(ICHV),Canine coronavirus(CCV),Canine parainflu-enza virus(CPIV).The blood were draw in freedom germ from neck's artery at canines and then blood was centrifugate for isolating serum. To check antibody's tite, micro serum neutrolization(SN) and hemagglutination inhibition(HI) were used. Results:Canine multivalence serum is successfully preparation and good curative effects in clinic. Conclusion:Canine multivalence serum may be of great value in economics and society and contribute to curative disease.

Objective To investigate the expression of T cell immunoglobulin domain and mucin domain (TIM)-3 and its ligand Galectin-9 in the peripheral blood of initial systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE)patients, and explore their effects on SLE.Methods The percentages of CD4+TIM-3+,CD8+TIM-3+cells from 33 SLE patients and 26 normal controls were detected by flow cytometry, and the Galectin-9 gene expression of PBMCs was determined by real-time PCR The SLE Disease Activity Index(SLEDAI),C3 level and lymphocyte count were evaluated.Mann-Whitney U test was used for independent samples analysis and Spearmen's test was used for correlation analysis. Results The percentages of CD4+TIM-3+ and CD8+TIM-3+ cells were markedly increased in SLE group than those of the control group(P<0.01).In particular, the CD4+TIM-3+,CD8+TIM-3+ level Was positively correlated with SLEDAI (r=0.517,P<0.01;r=0.400,P<0.05);but negatively correlated with C3(r=0.487,P<0.05;r=0.395,P<0.05).The Galectin-9 mRNA in SLE PBMCs was higher than that of the controls(P<0.05).Conclusion TIM-3-Galectin-9 pathway may be involved in T cell immune regulation of SLE,and is related to disease activity.

Clinical Medicine of China 2010;26(7):748-750
Objective To investigate postoperative complications and proper treatment of craniopharyngioma after microsurgical resection. Methods The postoperative complications and treatments of 58 patients with craniopharyngioma who underwent microneurosurgical resection in our department were analyzed retrospectively. Results In the 58 cases ,45 cases received total resection, 11 cases received subtotal resection, and 2 cases received partial resection. Different levels of postoperative complications occurred in all of the cases, with diabetes insipidus in 55 cases , hypematremia and hyperchloraemia in 32 cases, hyponatremia in 25 cases, hyperpyrexia in 24 cases and hyperglycosemia acidosis in 2 cases. Forty-seven cases recovered clinically,9 cases improved, and 2 cases died. Conclusions Postoperative intensive monitor of water intake, and discharge, fluctuation of electrolyte, and actively correction of diabetes insipidus and electrolyte disturbances and maintaince of fluid balance may play an important role in postoperation treatment of craniopharyngiomas.
