The changes of some parameters of Gray type Ⅰ synaptic interface in the brain of mice treated with desglycinamide-arginine-8-vasopressin (DGAVP) have been analysed quantitatively two hours after DGAVP injection. The animals were killed and the hippocampus and sensori-motor area of cerebral cortex were prepared for electron microscopy. The electron microphotographs were analysed by IBM-PC computer image processing system. The main results of the experiment are as follows:1. The thickness of postsynaptic density apparently increased in both the sensori-motor area of cerebral cortex and CA_3 area of hippocampus after injection of DGAVP (P

Objective To assess the association of tag single nucleotide polymorphisms ( tag SNPs) of SH2B adap-tor protein 3 ( SH2 B3 ) gene with essential hypertension ( EH ) in Han population .Methods Six tag SNPs ( rs7309325 , rs11065898 , rs10849947 , rs2239196 , rs2238154 and rs739496 ) were genotyped in 510 patients with EH and 510 healthy controls using polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism method ( PCR-RFLP) .Results Compared to CC genotype , the T allele carriers of rs2239196 were more likely to be hy-pertensive ( OR=2.59 ,95%CI 1.36-4.96 ,Bonferroni correction P<0.05 ) .Conclusions The rs2239196 T al-lele is potential a risk factor of EH in Han population .

Objective To comment the severity of severe hand, foot and mouth disease(HFMD)by pediatric risk of mortality score(PRISM),and assess the performance of PRISM in predicting mortality or complication probability in HFMD.Methods Four hundred and twenty-four severe HFMD pediatric patients were recruited in the study from 1th Jan 2010 to 31th June 2013.Information on the outcome and the varia-bles required to calculate PRISM score were collected. The logistic regression model developed in the learning sample was evaluated in the test sample by calculating the area under the receiver operating characteristic (ROC)curve to assess discrimination pneumorrhagia and death.Calibration across deciles of risk was evalua-ted using the Hosmer-Lemeshow goodness-of-fit χ2 test. Results The area under the ROC curve were 0.87 (95%CI 0.80~0.94 )for PRISM in predicting pneumorrhagia probability. The area under the ROC curve were 0.87(95%CI 0.80~0.95)for PRISM in predicting mortality probability. The PRISM in observed and expected pneumorrhagia did not demonstrate good calibration at ten mortality risk intervals (χ2 =36.66, P<0.001 ).The PRISM in observed and expected mortality did not demonstrate good calibration at ten mortali-ty risk intervals(χ2 =41.11,P<0.001).Conclusion The PRISM score is demonstrated good discrimination of pneumorrhagia and death in HFMD pediatric patients, but the performance of calibration is not good.

For the purpose of exploring the teaching reform model and method, also promoting the quality of talents in acupuncture and tuina field, the research-based teaching model is applied into the course of Theory of Meridians and Acupoints. This method includes two parts of teaching and learning. For teachers, they bring modern research focus and trend into teaching through questionnaire survey among students, aiming to integrate the education inside and outside class. For students, they are guided to resolve the opening, enlightening and scalable issues through consulting abundant resources of literature and database to achieve autonomous participation in the course of learning. By this teaching method, it is expected to train the student's ability of expanding their thinking, as well as discovering, analyzing and solving the problem.

8.Health information analysis and health promotion in social media
Chinese Journal of Medical Library and Information Science 2017;26(10):22-29
Social media are an important channel to spread health information and an important influencing factor for health information behaviors. The personal information on social media can predict the public health events, as-sess the personal health condition and help to improve the health behaviors of the public. The active role of foreign and domestic social media in predicting epidemic and infectious disease, monitoring smog, supporting user emotion and health, early warning drug adverse effects, and establishing healthy lifestyle were described. The health infor-mation analysis using the data on social media and the effect of social media on health information behaviors were summarized in order to provide the theory for the successive research.

Journal of International Oncology 2010;37(11):877-880
Objective To evaluate the roles of magnetic resonance imaging and proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy(1H-MRS) in the diagnosis of meningiomas. Methods 98 patients with meningiomas underwent conventional pre-contrast MR and contrast MR. Among them, 28 cases had two dimensional single voxel or multi voxel 1 H-MRS simultaneously both in the lesion's region and the contralateral side. Results On precontrast MR images of 98 cases, T1 WI showed 58.1% (61/105) isointensities, 31.4% (33/105) faintly low intensities and 10. 5% (11/105) mixed intensities; T2WI showed 40. 0% (42/105) isointensities, 41.0%(43/105) hyperintensities, 10.5% (11/105) faintly low intensities and 8.5% (9/105) mixed intensities. After administration of Gd-DTPA, the solid part of the tumors exhibited various enhancement in all the 98 cases.28 cases of MRS exhibited specific different spectral peaks, including increased of choline-containing compounds(Cho), absent or decreased of acetylaspartate(NAA), and the unchanged of creatine(Cr). The value of NAA, Cr, Cho, NAA/Cr, Cho/Cr, NAA/Cho in the tumor center of meningioma were 0. 09 ± 0.06,0.31 ± 0. 22, 0.46 ± 0. 16, 0.33 ± 0. 42, 1.50 ± 0. 68, 0. 15 ± 0.08, compared with the contralateral normal region, Cr has no significant difference (P > 0. 05), NAA, Cho, NAA/Cr, Cho/Cr, NAA/Cho had significantly differences(P < 0.05). Conclusion Conventional pre-contrast MR and contrast MR is the most important dignostic means for meningiomas, 1H-MRS combined with MRI can improve the diagnostic accuracy of meningiomas.
10.Position of roles and requirements of professional competency in foreign medical librarians
Chinese Journal of Medical Library and Information Science 2018;27(1):62-67
The position of roles and requirements of professional competency in foreign medical librarians were ana-lyzed in order to provide the experiences of foreign medical librarians for the professional development of domestic medical librarians, which showed that medical librarians play their roles in health information service, health literacy education, scientific research, teaching, clinical decision-making support and public health service, and that their role and competency have been recognized by medical experts and health information users. Medical librarians should not only possess the competency of communication, systematic review, resource evaluation, organization and manage-ment and health management but also the proficiency in teaching and the ability to promote the development of health information industry, which will thus help them to become a health informationist or a clinical information expert.
