Objective To evaluate the difference in efficacy and safety between ~(131)Ⅰand antithyroid drugs (ATD)in the treatment of Graves'disease in children and adolescents.Methods MEDLINE(1966-2005), Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials(Cochrane Library Issue 2,2006),EMBASE(1984-2004), CBMDISK(1978-2005)and CNKI(1994-2006)were searched by computer.Isotopes(1989-2004),Radiologia Pratica(1986-2005),Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism(1985-2004),and Endocrinology and Metabolism Clinics of North America(1988-2001)were manually searched.Trials comparatively analyzed ~(131)Ⅰand antithyroid drugs on the treatment of Graves'disease in children and adolescents were included.The quality of the study methodologies such as randomization,blinding and allocation concealment was evaluated and meta-analysis was performed by Revman 4.2 software.Results Five non-randomized controlled trials involving 538 patients were included.Among these trials one was prospective and the rest were all retrospective.~(131)Ⅰwas more effective in increasing the complete remission and decreasing the rate of recurrence as compared with ATD,but the rate of hypothyroidism was significantly increased after ~(131)Ⅰtreatment.Conclusion Based on the five studies,the evidence suggests that ~(131)Ⅰtherapy is effective and safe for children and adolescents,and the total curative effects in Graves'disease are superior to ATD.However great shortage of randomized controlled trial(RCT),and problems concerning randomization,blind method,follow-up and statistic analysis still exist in clinical controlled trials, hence more RCT with high quality should be conducted.

ObjectiveTo observe the effect of vinpocetine sustained-release capsules on post-stroke depression and recovery of neurological function. MethodsA total of 64 patients with acute post-stroke depression were randomly divided into Vinpocetine sustained-release capsules group( 34 cases) and control group(30 cases). Conventional therapy was given to both groups. To the treatment group, vinpocetine sustained-release capsules was given at the same time. Depression status was assessed with Hamilton Rating Depression Scale(HAMD). Meanwhile ,Mimi-Mental State Examination( MMSE), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS) and Activities of Daily Living(ADL)were given in to both groups. ResultsAfter 6 to 12 weeks' therapy, the total score of HAMD, NIHSS and ADL of Vinpoeetine group were significantly lower than the control group ( all P ＜ 0.05 ), MMSE score increased significantly ( P ＜ 0.05 ) in Vinpocetine group. The curative rate and effective rate of Vinpocetine group were 38％ and 91％. It was significantly higher than the 20％ and 73％ of the control group ( all P ＜ 0.05 ). ConclusionVinpocetine sustainedrelease capsules was effective to treat post-stroke depression. It could improve the emotional state of patients and promote the recovery of neurological function.

Objective To investigate the epidemiological characteristic of influenza in children in Guangzhou ,and provide the sci-entific basis for prevention .Methods A total of 20 throat swabs were collected from children with influenza-like illness(ILI) each week from 2014 to 2015 .A total of 2080 samples were obtained .The virus was isolated with MDCK cell line and virus type identi-fication were detected by real-time PCR .The relevant data was collected and analyzed epidemiologically .Results A total of 244 were detected positive in 2080 ILI cases in Guangzhou from 2014 to 2015 .The positive rate was 11 .7% .The positive rate of influ-enza virus reached peak in February and June in 2014 ,and the major type of influenza virus was new type H1N1 in February and H3N2 in June .The positive rate of influenza virus reached peak in March and June in 2015 ,and the major type of influenza virus were B type in March and H3N2 in June .Only one case of new H1N1 was detected in 2015 .The positive rate of influenza virus was 25 .6% in 3 to 6 years old ILI children which took larger part than other groups .Conclusion In Guangzhou ,the influenza virus epi-demic is more active in 2015 .The major type of influenza virus in the epidemic is seasonal type H 3N2 and B .Type A and type B appeared in the epidemic alternatively .The 3-6 year-old children are the high-risk group of influenza infection ,and should be monitored .

Objective To study the chemical constituents of the EtOAc soluble fraction obtained from the stems and branches of Euonymus alatus with anti-myocardial ischemic effect. Methods Chemical constituents were isolated and purified by solvent extraction together with various chromatographic techniques, and the structures were identified by physicochemical properties and spectral analyses. ResultsFive compounds, 1-[3-?-D-glucopyranosyloxy)-4, 5-dihydroxyphenyl]-ethanone (Ⅰ), phenethyl alcohol 8-O-?-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→2)-?-D-glucopyranoside (Ⅱ), eugenyl-O-?-D-glucopyranoside (Ⅲ), hyperin (Ⅳ), and hesperidin (Ⅴ) were isolated. Conclusion Compound Ⅰ is determined as a new compound named guijianyuside. Compounds Ⅱ and Ⅲ are isolated from this plant for the first time.

BACKGROUND:Liquid chip techniques (Luminex) is a recently rising method for detecting anti-panel reactive antibody, which is characterized by high sensitivity, and strong specificity, less interference and high flux.
OBJECTIVE:To compare the sensitivity and detection difference of panel reactive antibody in serum of kidney disease patients detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and Luminex.
METHODS:Serum samples of 280 patients with kidney disease were selected. The enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and Luminex methods were used to measure positive rate of panel reactive antibody. Chi-square test for fourfold table data was utilized for statistical analysis.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The positive rates of panel reactive antibody were respectively 18.9%and 33.6%as detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and Luminex method. The positive rates of anti-HLA-I antibody and anti-HLA-II antibody were respectively 12.8%and 12.5%, as detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The positive rates of anti-HLA-I antibody and anti-HLA-II antibody were respectively 25.0%and 20.7%, as detected by Luminex method. Positive detection rate was significantly higher in the Luminex group than that in the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay group. Moreover, Luminex method could precisely detect the low-concentration antibody. Chi-square test for fourfold table data showed P<0.01. Significant differences in the differences of panel reactive antibody of kidney disease patients were detected between the two methods. Results demonstrated that compared with enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, Luminex method is more sensitive and accurate, and more suitable for clinical detection.

[Objective] To observe the inhibitory effect of acupuncture combined with herbal medicine on hyperplasia of mammary glands in rats. [Methods] Rats were randomized into 6 groups: A (normal) , B (model) , C (acupuncture) , D ( herbal medicine), E (acupuncture combined with herbal medicine) and F (triphenyloxamine) . Rat models of hyperplasia of mammary glands in Group B, C, D, E and F were established by intramuscular injection of estradial benzoate and progesterone. Nipple height in rats were detected before and after treatment. The number of acini in each lobule, the diameter of acinar cavity and duct in the second pair of mammary glands were calculated under light microscope. The expression of estrogen receptor (ER) and progesterone receptor (PR) in the tissues of mammary gland were examined by immunohistochemical method after treatment. Objective To investigate alterations in epigenetic regulation in B cells in subacute cutaneous lupus erythematosus (SCLE).Methods Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) were isolated from the peripheral venous blood of SCLE patients and healthy donors with density gradient centrifugation.B cells were isolated with CD19 micro beads and protocols provided by the manufacturer.Total RNAs were isolated with RNA kits.The expressions of silence information regulator 1 (Sirt1) mRNA were investigated with quantitative real time polymerase chain reaction (PCR).Results The levels of Sirt1 mRNA were significantly increased in SCLE B cells relative to healthy controls (P ＜ 0.01).Conclusions Histone modifications appear abnormal in B cells in SCLE.

Purpose To discuss the clinical,histopathological characteristics,diagnosis,differential diagnosis and prognosis of malignant intraductal papillary lesions of the breast.Methods 28 cases of malignant intraductal papillary lesions of the breast were analyzed by histology and immunobistochemistry.Clinical and follow-up information was obtained.The published relevant literatures were reviewed.Results All the patients were females with a mean age of 55.7 years.The clinical features were a palpable mass or nipple discharge.28 cases were diagnosed including 22 cases of intraductal papaillary carcinoma,2 cases of encapsulated papillary carcinoma and 4 cases of solid papillary carcinoma.Microscopically,the tumor showed solid and papillary area inside the capsule wall with fine delicate fibrovascular septa.The tumor cells usually displayed low-grade nuclear features.Immunohistochemistry,the tumor cells revealed diffusely strong positive ER and PR in almost all cases and HER-2,CK5/6 were negative positive.All cases were negatiive for CK5/6,p63 and SMA in the celluar nodules.CD56,Syn and CgA were found positively in some solid papillary carcinoma cases.The average positive rate of Ki-67 in tumor cells was 5.3 ％.27 patients were available for follow-up examination from 10 to 79 months and all the patients were alive.Conclusion Malignant intraductal papillary lesions of the breast most occurs in postmenopausal women.The diagnosis should be based on the clinical information,histopathological features and immunohistoehemistry stain due to its diverse histology.The main differential diagnosis is intraductal papilloma.This kind of lesion is a low grade malignant tumor with favorable prognosis.

Objective To discuss the valuable influence of the total-body massage on the facilitation of the rehabilitation for the women in puerperium.Methods Both Chinese traditional medical total-body massage and the biological information theories and its methodology were employed in dealing with 50 cases of puerperants without contraindications,who had labored naturally 12 hours before and who had received cesarean sections 48 hours before. The results were compared with the control group in which conventional preventive health care for puerperants was adopted.Results Notable differences exist in the aspect of lochia,defecation,lactation and emotions between the two groups.Conclusion Significant benefits can be obtained from the massage to facilitate the rehabilitation of the women in puerperium while promoting their quality of lives and broadening the coverage of services of the preventive health care for the puerperants.
