[Summary] Adult female presacral space tumor involves in different disciplines .It could be typing according to the tumor location, size, mobility and the relationship with surrounding tissues .Understanding the classification of the tumor is helpful to select a suitable operative approach that lead to a better result .After the strict preoperative evaluation , transvaginal approach should not be neglected in adult female patients with presacral space tumor .

Objective To establish the fingerprint of amino acids composition of Jinlong capsule. Methods Using 6-acetamido-4-hydroxy-2-methyl quinoline (AQC) as the derivating agent, 17 kinds of amino acids were analyzed by UPLC at the same time and the fingerprint of amino acids composition of Jinlong capsule was established. Result Totally 22 co-possessing peaks were selected as the fingerprint peaks, 17 kinds of amino acids were identified. The fingerprint similarity value of 10 batches was above 0.9. Conclusion The fingerprint is characteristic and can be used for the quality control of Jinlong capsule.

Concentrations of TSH in the serum of 47 iron-deficiency children and urinary excretion of 17-KS in 24-hour samples from 64 iron deficiency children were investigated before and after treatment, and compared with that of the normal control group. It was showed that serum concentrations of TSH and 17-KS excretion in iron-deficiency children were abnomally higher than in the nomal control subjects, and they were before treatment than after. After treating, they returned to control levels. It is concluded that iron rather than anemia play a role in the disturbance of TSH and corticoid metabolism of the iron-deficiency children.

Objective To observe the symptoms,short and long term effects of body gama-knife in treatment of obstructive jaundice caused by cholangiocarcinoma.Methods 76 patients with obstructive jaundice caused by cholangiocarcinoma were treated with OUR-QGD body gamma-knife.The single therapeutic dose was 3.0-4.0 Gy,isodose curves was 50.0 ％-65.0 ％,the total treatment time was 10-12 times.The liver function,blood routine and adverse effects were monitored.Results Among 76 patients,the jaundice symptoms of 69 cases were significantly reduced,the TBIL and ALT levels were significantly lower than that before treatment (P ＜ 0.05),the ORR was 88.16 ％ (67/76),DCR was 90.79 ％ (69/76).The median TTP was 8.8 months and the median OS was 13.4 months.Conclusions Body gamma-knife treatment for obstructive jaundice caused by cholangiocarcinoma can significantly improve symptoms of patients,and improve their life quality.This treatment has less adverse effects and satisfaction short-time and long-term effects.

Objective To investigate the effects of ?-aescin on nuclear factor-?B (NF-?B) activities and tumor necrosis factor-? (TNF-?) protein expression in the rat brain tissue following acute traumatic brain injury (TBI). Methods A total of 62 SD rats were subjected to a lateral cortical impact injury caused by a free-falling object and divided randomly into four groups, ie, sham operation group (Group A), injury group (Group B), ?-aescin treatment group (Group C) and pyrrolidine dithocarbamate (PDTC) treatment group (Group D). Group C was administered with ?-aescin and Group D treated with PDTC immediately after injury. A series of brain samples were obtained directly 6, 24 hours and three days respectively after operation in four groups. The NF-?B activation of rat brain was determined by electrophoretic mobility shift assay (EMSA) and the levels of TNF-? protein in rat brain measured by radio-immunoassay (RIA). In the meantime, the water content of rat brain was measured and pathomorphological observation carried out. BACKGROUND: BK viral infection after renal transplantation influences the prognosis of BK virus-associated nephropathy in renal transplant recipients. The disease has been widely studied in foreign countries.OBJECTIVE: This study was designed to sum up the diagnosis and treatment of BK virus-associated nephropathy after renal transplantation.RETRIVAL STRATEGY: Using the terms "renal transplantation; BK virus" in the English language, manuscripts responsible for BK virus-associated nephropathy after renal transplantation that were published from January 2000 to January 2007 were retrieved from the PubMed database. A total of 206 manuscripts were obtained and primarily screened. Inclusion criteria: studies addressing BK virus-associated nephropathy after renal transplantation. Exclusion criteria: repetitive studies.LITERATURE EVALUATION: The included manuscripts were primarily from PubMed database. Manuscripts were primarily original and review studies.DATA SYNTHESIS: BK virus can be found in the urine of 3%-40% of adult renal transplant recipients. BK virus reactivation rate is very high, but the histological manifestations of BK virus associated nephropathy are found only in a small number of renal transplant recipients. The prognosis of BK virus associated nephropathy is very poor. BK virus associated nephropathy develops into renal failure, leading to transplant loss, in 30%-50% patients. BK virus-caused renal transplant disease must be diagnosed according to histological manifestations. Viral infection should be primarily confirmed, but serological measurements have no predominant effects. Electron microscopy should be involved in the assessment of renal graft biopsy, especially when renal failure factors are unknown, as through the use of electron microscope, viral particles in the nucleus, cytoplasm and outside of the cells could be detectable. Viral antigen in the urine sample of patients with BK viruria can be detected by nucleic acid hybridization method, immunofluorescence, and ELISA. Cidofovir is an effective medicine for treatment of BK virus-associated nephropathy, but its potential nephrotoxicity, proper dose, pharmacokinetics, safety, tolerance, anti-BK viral activities have not been confirmed. So fresher study should be required for aforementioned uncertainties.CONCLUSION: BK virus-associated nephropathy has poor prognosis and should be diagnosed according to histological examinations. BK virus-associated nephropathy has been treated primarily by symptomatic supportive treatment and reducing the dose of immunosuppressive agents.

Objective To discuss the importance of the clinic skill learning center in diagnostics teaching.Methods The experiment group was taught in the clinic skill learning center with the reformed method,while the control group was taught in the traditional laboratories with the traditional one.Results The experiment group's two average scores of diagnostics and skill examine are higher than the control group's,and the difference between the two group's average scores are significant in the statistics analysis.Conclusion The applications of the clinical skill learning center in medicine teaching is the need of developing the medical education business and fostering standardized medical talents.

Methods The experiment group was taught by the two-step pattern case teaching,while the control group by the traditional method. Results The experiment group’s image diagnostics exam average score is higher than the control group’s,and the average scores of other major clinical courses are all higher. Conclusion The applications of the two-step pattern case teaching in medicine teaching is the need of developing the medical education business and improving the medical teaching quality.
