Journal of Chongqing Medical University 1987;0(01):-
Objective:To investigate the effect of enhanced external counterpulsation(EECP)on serum nitric oxide(NO),malondialdehyde(MDA) and superoxide dismutase(SOD) in patients with coronary heart disease(CHD) and its mechanism. Methods:The serum NO,MDA and SOD levels of 54 cases of CHD and 20 normal controls were tested.Patients were divided into EECP group(30cases) and medication group(24 cases). The serum concentrations of NO,MDA and SOD of each group before and after treatment were compared for the correlation analysis. Results:Before treatment, compared with the normal controls, the serum levels in CHD patients were as follows.NO were much lower(P0.05).Correlation analyses showed that in EECP group, there was negative correlation between NO and SOD(r=-0.47,P
3.Application of epidermal growth factor in corneal injury
Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2012;30(9):857-860
Epidermal growth factor (EGF) is a very important peptide growth factor, which is not only involving in a variety of ocular cell mitosis, proliferation and differentiation, but also participates in mediating the signal transduction between cell and cell, cell and matrix interaction and other biological functions.Corneal injury is a common and frequently occurring disease in ophthalmology, and it would lead to blindness without appropriate treatment.Researches showed that EGF can promote the repair and regeneration of wounded cornea. In recent years, these studies advance from animal experiment stage to clinical stage and also from the morphology evaluation stage to the genetics study stage. This paper provided an overview of EGF concept, its biological effectiveness, its relationship to corneal injury and its clinical application.
4.Association of retinal diseases with epigenetics mechanism
Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2011;29(8):753-758
Epigenetics refers to the changes of heritable gene expression without modification of DNA sequences which is one of major research interest of human genome study post gene era. Epigenetics may play an important role in the pathogenesis of retinal diseases. Epigenetics modification in the regulation of gene expression and function mainly includes DNA methylation, histone acetylation and non-coding RNA such as miRNA. The implication of epigenetics has been suggested with the pathogenesis of retinal fibrosis, retinitis pigmentosa, age-related macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. In addition, the epigenetics drug has potential to be used in the treatment of retinal diseases.
5.Application of 25 G vitreous cavity perfusion in phacoemulsification for cataract after vitrectomy
International Eye Science 2016;16(6):1168-1170
?AIM: To explore the application of 25G vitreous cavity perfusion in phacoemulsification for cataract after vitrectomy.?METHODS:Forty-eight patients (50 eyes) with cataract after pars planavitrectomy in our hospital from September 2013 to September 2014 were selected to receive phacoemulsification and implantation of artificial lens with 25G vitreous cavity perfusion. Best corrected visual acuity ( BCVA ) , intraocular pressure ( IOP ) , postoperative discomfort, healing of scleral puncture and postoperative complications were observed.?RESULTS: All patients underwent surgery successfully. Compared to before operation, there was less patients with BCVA ≤0. 1, more patients with BCVA 0. 3-0. 5,>0. 5,>0. 3 (P<0. 05). The visual acuity of 1 eye decreased because of vitreous hemorrhage caused by original fundus lesion recurrence. The mean IOP before operation and at 1, 7d, 6mo after operation were 14. 67±0. 62mmHg, 14.75±0.56mmHg, 14.86±0.58mmHg, 14.88±0.59mmHg, respectively. There were no statistically significant differences of IOP between that before operation and those at 1, 7d, 6mo after operation (P>0. 05). No obvious eye discomfort and severe complications after operation were observed.? CONCLUSION: The effect of 25G vitreous cavity perfusion in phacoemulsification for cataract after vitrectomy is good and it can maintain IOP, keep anterior chamber stable and decrease the complications risk.
6.Study on the representation and encoding of Chinese characters in DICOM
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 1989;0(04):-
Character Repertoires are supported by DICOM to encode Characters in different languages, in which UTF-8 and GB18030 are for Chinese characters. Each of them can replace Acquiesced Character Repertoire in Attribute Specific Character Set so that Chinese characters can be encoded in data elements. Utility programs compatible with DICOM are also required to support UTF-8 or GB 18030 for unerring representation and encoding.
7.Analysis of curative effect and drug tolerance in the treatment of severe bacterial oculopathy by levofloxacin
International Eye Science 2014;(9):1707-1709
To evaluate the curative effect and drug tolerance in the treatment of severe bacterial keratitis and conjunctivitis by levofloxacin.
●METHODS: Totally 195 patients with severe bacterial keratitis and conjunctivitis were included in this study. Based on the sequence of enrollment, they were randomly divided into three groups: group A ( 65 patients) received levofloxacin, group B ( 65 patients) received suture method under microscope, group C received suture method with loupe besides the same basic operative treatment in the two groups. The curative effect and drug tolerance were observed and compared statistically.
●RESULTS: ln group A, 54 cases were cured, in the rate of 83. 1%, 7 cases ( 10. 8%) were excellent, 3 cases (4. 6%) were valid, 1 case (1. 5%) was invalid. ln group B, 25 cases (38. 5%) were cured, 6 cases (9. 2%) were excellent, 23 cases (35. 4%) were valid, 11 cases (16. 9%) were invalid. ln group C, 4 cases (6. 2%) were cured, 3 cases (4. 6%) were excellent, 36 cases (55. 4%) were valid, 22 cases (33. 8%) were invalid. The curative effect and drug tolerance among groups had obvious differences (P<0. 05).
●CONCLUSlON: Levofloxaoin is effective and safe for the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis and keratitis, which is not resistant and worthy of promotion.
8.Evaluation of serum soluble ST2 and brain natriuretic peptide in patients with acute heart failure and prognosis
Clinical Medicine of China 2017;33(2):123-125
Objective To study Evaluation of serum soluble ST2 protein and brain natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP)in patients with acute heart failure and prognosis of patients with acute heart failure. Methods Fifty cases patients with acute heart failure from April 2014 to April 2015 in the First Hospital of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine of Beijing were researched.Detection of all patients with serum ST2,NT-proBNP,50 patients with acute heart failure were divided into heart failure group,50 healthy persons were selected as the control group. The control group and the observation group general heart failure data, the observation group and the control group of cardiac biomarker blood level, cardiac function level NT-proBNP blood concentration level, classification of cardiac function between ST2 blood concentration level were compared. Results Cr,BUN of heart failure group were higher than the control group, there was no significant difference between other indicators(P>0.05).ST2((0.46±0.07)ng/L)in heart failure group was lower than the control group((0.66±0.20)ng/L),NT-proBNP((4160.20±57.49)ng/L)was higher than the control group((58.97±4.39)ng/L),heart function IV NT-proBNP blood concentration of the highest(9 428.29±75.93)ng/L,followed by grade III(1 921.01±30.27)ng/L,the second lowest(321.02±16.80)ng/L,(P<0.01).Heart function IV level ST2 blood concentration was the highest(1.95±0.69)ng/L,followed by grade III(1.27±0.61)ng/L,class II minimum(0.78±0.24)ng/L(P<0.01).Conclusion The serum ST2 and NT-proBNP are used to detect the patients with acute heart failure, can provide accurate diagnosis basis, has a very important value judgment on the classification and prognosis.
